I could've played it a bit differently, but oh well. Wanted to kill him so bad, but then I'd have to make up for those Dark Side points and delay getting Light V. Which would be easy considering that in every dungeon there's at least one DS-LS choice, but I didn't know that yet then ;)
"I will never relent! You will all succumb to me!"
*Walks willingly with guards to his imprisonment...*
If you try and mess with guards, they hit or shock you if you don’t walk willingly
It’s interesting how the sith council is portrayed in this game. The sith empire actually functions like a somewhat believeable organization, though a violent and harsh one. The sith only seem really and truly evil when there are only a handful of them.
Agreed. The ONLY awful thing that empire have is slavery, but i guess it's the imminent evil of empires - real life and fictional too.
Will Prox every large group has slaves. Or indentured servants.
Or in republic side. People poor enough that they are forced to become exploited and sht.
@DevilTrigger only in the department of efficiency of what they try to accomplish. Outside of that one area, they are too unstable to function without an exceptionally gifted and well meaning leader.
Put any human of regular intelligence of the throne and you'll have a petty tyrannical ruler.
*Looking at you, Czerka corp.*
Anyone else think light side sith is the best philosophy? Always strive to become stronger and gain as much power as you can, but treat everyone with respect along the way.
lol i finished with litgh side inquisitor the storyline
Why hello Gray Jedi!
+Eioris I'm trying to do that
+Eioris I'm doing that right now
I mean, darker side Jedi and lighter side Sith are the best choices overall, just VERY difficult to maintain. It takes great will to not just give in entirely to every emotion, as its amplified to ridiculous levels. This is where the Sith get their power, but it's also what causes them to go mad
"If only we could sell tickets!"
Next thing you know, you see the Warrior scalping tickets for a prize fight outside of the building. XD
not funny at all.
What are you talking about, that sounds like something Vette would say! XD
@@collin833 Wow. No sense of humor.
If Darth Baras hadn't been slain by the main character, he probably would have died from a massive heart attack brought on by his severe case of Angina.
XD
I killed Darth Baras with the "Death is Mercy" line. I also went with the their will be changes. This is because I was playing as a light sith too.
@@Bluesonofman I banished him, so you stay light but he still suffers with no chance of repercussion
@@Bluesonofman My merciful Light Sith spared Baras. He was my teacher, after all.
Everyone in the sith are british I've only noticed that today.
Have you never seen the original films? In the games there are some Imperials who sound more Scottish or even a bit Australian which I always found interesting, and variations on English accent. The Warrior even comments on it a couple of times when meeting an NPC with an American accent, "You don't sound Imperial," and the Imperial Agent drops her accent when she's undercover.
Possibly the American bias for Empire=British as they rebelled against the British Empire.
To be fair, we did have an empire that did a LOT of things that are viewed negatively in the modern era, so I can't blame the fact evil empires usually have our accent. You can also ham up the stereotypical English accent better :D
Well the first one too lend their vocie to the Emperor - in the Empire strikes back, was Clive Revill - a New Zealander, later Ian McDiarmid, potrayed the Emperor in form and voice.
How can you get menacing voice without british or deep breath?
I never kill Tremel. I like the guy.
Jackson Rushing same!!
@@Braidedheart
Seconded.
I killed him for dark-side points
"Is that coming from you or the Emperor, Baras? It is hard to tell the difference." LOL
Ya killing Tremel always bothered me. Considering all he was doing for you, to go and kill him is just messed up. He really was your only true ally from the beginning.
***** you don't understand the sith at all then. One does not have to be "evil" (which is a point of view) to be sith. If you know any truth to the history, culture, and teachings you'd know that they are so much more than base instinct killers and evil. Even Tremel taught you that much; what did you already forget about the first prisoner you interrogate on Korriban? Did you kill her? Do you remember what Tremel told you? Baras didn't go around killing everyone he saw either, if he did he would never have been in the position he is in today, even Sidious never did that.
*****"The dead know nothing" Only the living can feel fear, thus killing people at every turn will not further your goals. Alliances must always be made and when they are used up they must be eliminated and new ones made. Use an asset till it is no longer an asset and then eliminate it. People have special sets of skills and certain ones can help you. One must analyze these things before taking such measures. This is the difference between failure and success when maintaining a power base.
***** you don't have to kill to have everybody know you are fearless. You display your prowess to instill fear.
***** lvl 5 dark and light is so hard for me to get....then again I lvl on KDY....ty I might make a new character today. What server you on? I want to make a cathar sage and haven't been active for 2 months
***** well I kinda need ur character's name :P
Is it just me or did Darth Vowrawn make some kind of fart joke about Baras at 6:38?
That or it's poking at the probability Baras, as old as he is for a human (and a dark side user no less) would tend to give off a rather rank odor being fat and wearing all that heavy armor and clothing, especially after exerting himself so strenuously.
LOL
@@GTA2SWcity XD
I wish my Sith Inquisitor could work with my Sith Warrior. It would be awesome if I could have one as a companion.
They can be related
Luke's hand was cut off and Vader's limbs were all cut off. They both have them again in the following movies. Tremel getting a robotic replacement hardly seems far-fetched. How is this such a mystery to everyone?
outdated technolagy that was 5k years before
@@trx_ced1142
Cartel Market has an awful lot a lot of Cyborg sets
I'm playing a light side Sith too, well he does choose dark side options every once in a while, but only when someone really deserves it. I find the story has much more depth that way and it shows true strength and courage to be defiant and do what you feel is right/necessary, not what someone else tells you. That's why I loved Scourge's character when I played a JK, he's someone that dares to defy and challenge, and thinks for himself, unlike most Sith and Jedi who are just mindless followers.
in the books it says that the wrath does have an honorary place in the council. besides he is actually the superior of anyone on the dark council.
They basically said the same thing. Wrath answers only to the Emperor. He doesnt have a place on the council but he can help them if he wishes. The council doesnt care what he does as long as it doesnt go against what they're doing.
Actually, Darth Marr is equal to wrath since he commands the millitary amd basically owns the empire
Did Tremel get a cybernetic hand? I’m pretty sure you had to cut his hand off
7:35 look at Thanaton such a loner no one sits beside him.
Lol ikr
Damn Vowrawn's transitions at the beginning of this between charming and fun and laughing to focused killer is kinda terrifying. Props to the voice actor
Now I kind of regret killing Tremel.
I kept him alive
I thought lord baras would have known and killed him anyway (and quiet possibly would have made him suffer.) I thought my only choice would have been to give him a quick and painless death. Now I want to go back but I don't want to restart everything. I'll probably do a second playthrough anyway which then I will definitely keep him alive
@@ethanruzic8071 Me too. But I felt if I spared him, he'd feel betrayed that all he was trying to teach me was for nothing. But I was respectful when I killed him. Still, knowing he came back... this is how you make choices matter in games.
True! This whole scene gave me chills from the beginning to the end. I even felt bad for Baras.
Gives me goosebumps always! I remember playing it for the first time. Definitely an epic ending to a great story line!
you become the leader of the Dark council
being the Emperor's wrath is way more important according to the story
Just as an interesting fact: if you spared Lord Rathir in Nar Shaddaa (it was not a Dark/Light choice, it was more of a "force him to be your minion" choice) he appears at 0:47 instead, saying that he pledged himself to you to see Baras' death. Though I'm not sure what happens if you spared both him and Tremel as well. Are both of them here? Maybe.
Yes they are both there
LOL at the end...
Baras: i will never relent! (walks peacfully out of the room)
I would say that is still better than a Council Seat. You can literally rally the armies of Sith just by saying who you are.
I literally just finished this scene about 15 minutes ago. Only difference was I chose the "Glory is mine!" option and killed Baras. The scene had me so good that when the council bowed I said "Wonoksh Qyâsik nun".
I remember I was sooo tempted to choose that one x) He got off easy with the LS option :|
Really loving the Mohawk. That's a very Sith look.
I like how the Sith in SWTOR behaved like the warring houses in Game of Thrones. All making moves and betrayals for power, it is very much the sith way
The inquisitor has, without a doubt, the best story line in the game. The smuggler is a close second in my opinion.
3:45 the prophecy on Voss
i played more like RP in fact lol
i started as a obedient aprendice, but becoming to defy him from time to time...
saved some, killed others...
i was mroe dark than light, but i still have sense o honor...
now i'm sad for killing the overseer :(
Baras was not always fat, but how did how gained some much weight? Too much space Krispy Kremes?
They also have the lifelike cybernetic attachments, remember? Because in episode 5 of the trilogy luke gets a cybernetic hand that still looks real, granted because they didn't have the effects to make it look like a robotic arm but yeah.
The Sith Inquisitor ending is the bossest of them all. You become like the Supreme Chancellor over like the entire friggin universe.
5:44 epic music begins for an epic moment.
Now I regret killing my first master. Oh well, I know what I'm doing with my Cathar Sith Warrior :)
This is a necropost from hell that I am making. Anyway, in SW lore there is something called synthskin that is very commonly used to cover limb replacements, it's very similar to ordinary skin.
Still disappointed that you couldn't start out sith and turn to the light. The plot turnout would have been truly fascinating, but that's a lot of extra crossover work.
Omg WHAT KIND OF ENDING IS THIS ?????? A SITH DOESNT FUCKING LET SOMEONE LIKE THAT GO AWAY I PLAYED THE GAME MYSELF AND I INSTANTLY KILLED FUCKING BARAS
+Mangetsu 'Mang' Bloodrage
That was very "Light side" of you to do :)
+Mangetsu 'Mang' Bloodrage Dark Side is usually the easy way. Takes way more guts to be a Light Side player. xD
+Luis NAO SEI I spared him to. I saw my Sith Warrior as a reformist who ended up thinking more like a revanite than a sith. Besides, having Baras rot in prison (disgraced and forgotten) will most likely be worse for him than a quick death.
becoming a sith doesn't make you more evil some can lead to redemption, Keep in mind ;)
still, this is hardly a light ending.....more like lights end lol
Let him die forgotten is much more satysfying, I agree with uploader. I love how Light Side Sith way is logical and still mostly by Sith Code.
There could be Lord rathari, but only in case if you told him to serve you. This is without any dark/light points i think. Light option is let him go, so only Tremel will appear in the end.
At 0:38 you can see him standing there without any gloves, so the only explanation would be that it grew back (which is also the most far-fetched one). The real explanation for that, however, is that it wasn't worth for BioWare to make a model of Tremel without a hand just for that one option where a player didnt kill him (though they could have made him hold both his hands behind his back all the time, so that it wouldnt be visible):P Tbh I was surprised he even turned up at this point.
I wish someone would take the Lightside option to let him live, but then take the Dark side option to execute him...
darth vawron is such a troll
IMO, this Light Side choice (not kill him, but rather imprison him for life in max security prison) is waaay more cruel. How it is, to live and remember all the power and stature and respect you have wanish in eyeshrink, and all your power cannot help you return it? I will quote Bane from Batman: Knightfall on this one: "Here you are... broken and done".
I would call it dark darkside ending ;DD
who betrayed who?
At last! A video with Baras ending up in prison!
i wish they made "continuations" imagine if you kill barras, his spirt will try to destroy you.
but if you keep him alive he will make all your companions betray you
+lordjor96 Killing could be mercy compared to prison forever .
"but if you keep him alive he will make all your companions betray you"
sorry but i can't really see every single companion betraying you for some madman locked in a cell
@@FatrickAteman yeah try to tell that about Quinn…
*cough cough* Empire strikes back *cough cough* Luke gets his hand cut off and replaced with a new one. *cough cough*
i just imagine baras looks like cartmen under his mask
Dafuq didn't trembel cut of his hand ?????
I will ALWAYS prefer sending Baras to jail.
1:24
Darth Thanaton. Continuity between the SI and SW solved.
Note: i loved this :P
Luke had a hand at the end of episode 5, that looked just like a normal one.
@ComradeStanimir Read the description pls :) I really, really wanted to kill him, trust me, but since I was making a movie I finally decided that I'd go all LS choices. Let's just say I wanted him to rot behind bars for ever, and see him driven eventually to insanity by the thought of his being bested by his own apprentice, subsequently dying an old, senile man forgotten by everyone ;)
It's called synth-flesh, both Anakin and Luke uses it. But you're probably right because i doubt BioWare thought about that
*"Have you heard the tragedy of Darth Chungus the Diabetic?"*
Why can't Vowrawn be my master? He's a freaking riot!
Luke had his hand cut off and when he got a new it wasn't gloved. Well, at least for the 5 seconds remaining of the Empire Strikes Back. lol. Anyway, it could also stand to reason that Tremel just want to wear gloves. =]
thats not the only explanation. he could have got a replacement i.e. luke sywalker at the end of episode 5
It's funny with all these haters. The thing that people don't seem to understand is being sith means your free to make your own choices, walk your own path without the restrictions that the jedi have being dark is just the easier path people forget. "My chains are broken the Force shall free me."
Don't mock me you FOP , lovely the way he say that :P
That spiky dude looks awesome. :D
i think the final boss shouldve been master satiel
You are not the leader of the Dark Council, there is no leader of the Dark Council other than the Emperor himself. As an Inquisitor, you only take Darth Thanaton's seat on the Council.
Guess who's back...
ironic that they name a sith after a jedi padawan that would turn to the dark side and betray the jedi in the future... baras (offee)
Killing him was way more badass, but i wish i spared Tremel
@TehTimeMaster Ah, I hear ya, yeah, at the end I hated Baras too much to even be practical, hehe.
Maybe he had a cyber one like Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker?
More satisfying killing your way through the sith warrior's story
That's more evil than killing him. Very Sithy indeed.
i laughed my ass off so hard to that
Spoiler: in the Jedi Knight Questline you get to try to assassinate the emperor, you fail, and Scourge becomes your companion.
Or it's just a well made cybernetic hand. You don't really need to make a new model for that since they have the technology to do things like that.
Nowhere near as satisfying as the Dark Side ending.
Light side? If you were light side there would be more than tremel standing there? I had many others, including the sith lord on nar shadaa. Could be that i chose the neutral option and not the light side tho
So Baras was really Fester Adams all along?!?
warrior had the best story line but i still think inquisitor was better
but now he has to live his life in shame and misery.
so does that mean that the wrath is higher in the sith hierarchy than Darth imperious (sith inquisitor) sense wrath only answers to the emperor and not the council?
Yeah, from what I remember from the story, they said the Emperor's Wrath is the voice of the Emperor himself, so I'm pretty sure the Sith warrior answers only to the Emperor.
Yeah i thought so... I just chose what i felt was right :)
You spelled you wrong.
Tremel can be spared?!Aww man...why did i pick dark side..?
could be a cyberntic one like luke has it looked real but was cybernetic
What's the name of music at 5:10?
Anakin's Dark Deeds
What I don't understand is why Baras went with them willingly. He should have thrown a few punches or something.
If i remember right to save Tremel he cuts his own hand off... is he wearing gloves over cybernetic ones or did it grow back?
Maybe it was a synthetic hand?
I really hope you can switch factions later in the story
whats the end music called
Darude sandstorm
+Doctor D gamer! yeah thats so like 2 years ago
Is that lightsaber curved
Fair enough :))
For self pleasure
is that nanosuit wanna be armor Medium? :P
How long does it take to do the entire storyline?
Darth Baras? More like Darth "Fatso".
My Sith was light, but him.,... i killed him :)
He did deserve to die, I agree, but killing him would also be granting him his wish since he asked to be struck down with the final blow. And I didn't want to do that since I've defied him from the very beginning. Why then would I fulfill this wish of his?:D
Is the story over from that point?
would of been better if there an ending that you defect to the Jedi
What does banish do?
darth vowrawn says he knows a good spot, and Baras yells "I WILL NOT RELENT, VENGENCE SHALL BE MINE!" and walks with the guards
@@james739123 baras should consider himself lucky, the worst place he would be sent to is Brazil
@@pogggaming4470 later in the story, if he lives, be he banished or imprisoned, he is later found by the Order of Zildrog and taunts you for spearing him, only to have his life drained from him to awaken a giant machine god
