What is the power supply that you're using to power that amp in the house? I know you can use batteries but something would have to be backing up the batteries helping replenish the power drained by that amp.
I just purchased a 12" Orion HCCA 2500 RMS sub for my Toyota truck. I should have it up and running in about a week. I'm just searching for the right power and ground cables to use for my amps.
One amp with hood power will be all you need. I can tell you that one of these amps for one of those subs is overkill and all you will end up doing is blowing up your subs. I’m just saying trust me this amp is a beast.
I have this same amp pushing a t2 16 inch fosgate it’s blown that sub 2 times just trying to figure it out had 1 optima battery powering it and at some point battery went bad so I’m thinking that was the issue also had it in an enclosed box van that also be the issue ?
matthew zenith I will warn you that I would not risk running it at .5 ohms unless you have a legit power supply. I will tell you this amplifier is so powerful it ripped the cone off of the spider and it’s a 130lbs subwoofer rated at 5500w RMS...
Yeah, it would break shit if I put them in a ported box inside the house. I can tell you that when this is in my suv, it melts your earwax! I no that sounds gross but that’s truly how powerful it is. I could not imagine having 2 of these in a car, it’ll be so damn loud that it could probably blow your eardrums. I had to get hearing protection for my spouse be it’s that damn loud.

I’m using a car battery charger that is constantly running charging the 2 batteries.

How is this at .5ohms? Is the sub dual 2 or dual 4 ohm? I've never seen a dual 1 ohm sub.
Look on eBay they’re a lot of dual 1 ohm subwoofers...
