In 3:50 Thats Onward u defeated many times but how its so hard to beat him as 1/4

From 3:50 and onwards, can you explain how the fark you're able to completely skip the rocket phase in the last 1/4 of boss HP?

Just because I kept hitting him and he never got chance. What I did was to using homing attack 6 times, because the 7th time triggers the two other characters coming in and attacking him. So after the 6th hit, if you have boost left, drop to the ground and immediately hit boost, then jump up and do 6 more, over and over, once boost gets low then hit him 7 times and finish him off. It took me literally well over 50 tries to get this down, though.

You know, it took me 20 tries to completing this reward. Protip, if you want to get the reward, I suggest that you don't get hit at all. I was able to do it in 4 mins and 19 secs because i didn't get hit at all. Just givin advice if you want to beat your record
