dear sir, this is the same model fergy that i learned to drive on when i was 14yrs old. kind of embaressing to tell you how old i am now. thank you fpr this posting, i not only enjoyed it it made me remember better days....
Looking at the video I think the way that the Ki gas is supposed to work is you heat up the glowplug in the inlet for about 20 seconds and then start up the engine. Then start pumping the Ki gas in. The spray flows over the hot glowplug and ignites into the cylinder head. Or at least that works for me. Oh... and stay away from easy start as it can blow out the piston rings on these old vehicles
Pointless using the Ki gas , until the glow plug been switched on for 10 seconds, then crank over the engine and hand pump the ki gas at the same time.
Morning Robin happy new year to you, just re watching a few videos! Just wondered if this one still over at the airfield moving planes or if you have it back? My TEF is the same starting wise I'm going through it doing jobs slowly and the cold start is next on list!!
Hi, Harry sorry about getting back to you late. The TEF is back home now, and that's a shame I would have like seeing the cold start repair as for a .film as well as I've got to do it on mind. New video out tomorrow and then one more after that but due to covid conditions don't know when next . I've many people and farmers wanting to film there collections but after a injection (Covid jab).maybe in the spring 😔
@@OutofTownwithRobinBell I really like your TEF the front lights give it a lot of character! Yes it's a shame with all this COVID going on for getting out and about it would of made a good vide with the TEF I haven't tried the repair out yet! Did video my TEA moving some hay about and a cold start I'll message them over if your interested!!
I would leave those wheels on her"! Looks great as she is, I have four Tef 20s All diesel plus one is a P3" and two of them came to me with the same wheels as yours there, ! your tractor tries very well to start asap"! Have you checked the heater plug in the centre of the induction manifold,? Looks like that would help you for better starting,!
Thanks Mate for you comment yes I've use the excess fuel button but that day it was very cold and because this tractor was a one owner and the farmer died 1 year before so not use for a 1 year plus it needs some work 👍

Happy New to you as well look forward to your Comment next Year :o)
Indirect fuel injection systems are a pain to start, Direct injection engines were a welcomed improvement.
