You want raw damage and oneshot potential you get the extra E damage you want more defence to skirmish and have sustained fight's you put points in W.
This is how we played lee in my time idk how much the game has shifted nowadays but considering everything oneshots everything there might be merit in getting 2 points in w for sustain and max E second.
