Some years back I was transferred to our office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. After a while I invited some colleagues over to supper and made BBQ chicken breasts in a mango, mustard and chile glaze. These sophisticated, travelled people recoiled in shock. FRUIT... WITH CHICKEN??? I made a quick pasta dish instead that they didn't much like either as they prefer pasta to be boiled as soft as wet toilet paper and I had made it al dente. In North America we have fun with food and we experiment. Mostly.
ahhh where have u been all my life , always looking for a way to use mangos , have a 100 yr old tree in the back yard , its a common or stringy one though so dont know how it would go blending ... just have to wait till next mango season and see... your other sauces sound intresting as well , also how long would these keep in a fridge
