Same choices!! I hate Accounting so much, it's hell on earth.. The most boring, sh*t and hard class ever... I love Marketing so much. Even though accounting is good if we talk about salary perspective because accountants make so much money. But it's hell to study or even think about to work in.
@@besanshokeh6563 Stress! Honestly people who think math is hard i'm telling you math is so easy as compared to Accounting the reason is in math, you learn formulas and apply them in your answer but there's no formulas in Accounting and you have to do everything by your mind. The only thing in Accounting is that it's not "useless" as math. Math is easy but useless accounting is language of business and applied everywhere. But i hate it so much!
Maths at least has objectivity. There are formulas and procedures to follow and the process is just straightforward. Accounting is all about cramming concepts, rules and just inputting numbers all day. Accounting is a language of it's own. Besides that, its downright confusing and boring!
This is what business students think after taking acct101 and Econ101. 😂 Most biz students don’t truly understand the rigour of economics as it is far from a “read up module”. Econs is a maths heavy major and its modules can’t be understood simply just by reading. And Accounting is the foundation of business, finance and strategy. Accounting is definitely not just only about balance sheets, and balancing the balance sheets is definitely not something accounting students do after they graduate. Might be good to have a full picture view on both the subjects before influencing the younger viewers on this channel 😅
Hi cloud! I enjoy watching your videos. Kindly make video on best business schools in UK. At least top 10 or 15. As not everyone can get an admit in top 5. Thanks and love...
As a CPA, no offense taken at all ! I realized we’re a special group of people that can withstand the mundanities of accounting but I personally enjoy it quite a lot. The job pays extremely well too and I feel like I can work anywhere too since every industry requires accounting. We’re also way less susceptible to layoffs. But overall I respect all business majors. If the marketing team needs a budget approval, the accounting department is always down to help 😏
I so resonate with everything you said about accounting. As a business major, I've had to take the same accounting class 4 times because I hate it so much I can't get through the class. The perfect combination of complicated, tedious, time consuming, and the worst one..BORING! and did I mention boring? Thank you for your hilarious perspective. It's refreshing.
This has actually made me feel better about taking business management with coursera. They have modules through Penn State University and I won’t get a bachelors degree but I will get a certificate once completed. The best part it’s very affordable so no student loan debt.
Yes Yes and YES! I FCKING HATE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING! (I like Managerial accounting though..) Financial accounting is the subject I hated the most during uni! 😂
Based on my personal observation on LinkedIn, majority of UK students take BSc Economics that later brings them a career in IB. While, international students often choose BSc Accounting & Finance or BSc Business Economics. Do you there are any particular reasons for that?
Perhaps the Economics per se in English universities is a bit too theoretical and doesn't provide as many immediate career-searching opportunities for international students who need to work and not just study. It can be great for people who don't care about high pay because they can afford to live in London or any other big British city anyways thanks to the help of their relatives, but the international students are kinda forced to get into the more practically oriented degrees, even though the ''big picture'' theoretical aspect in those can be a bit lacking. For example, a Business Economics and a Finance degree might be great at teaching you microeconomics and provide access to some big firms where you can get real-world experience, but your macroeconomics and economical history knowledge might be quite limited unless you studied it extra-curriculum. Taking Business Economics instead of general Economics can lead to higher pay, but can limit your view of the world, making it a bit too ''finance'' or ''entrepreneurship'' oriented, which can lead to you overlooking some societal and political trends, for example.
This video feels like it will resonate so much with me I do see myself liking things like marketing and strategy as marketing and advertising are mainly why I wanna get into buisness. Strategy sounds really nice and somthing right up my alley. The behavior one sounds like something I would enjoy but even before studying I don't think I could ever see myself in accounting I hate that sort of thing so do you think it's still worth going into buisness without necessarily LOVING every module? There are specific ones I really like and my reason to why I'm considering this as my major
I have applied to businesse major this year just for accounting....but I guess i'll change my mind after all... The comments section made it so hard to believe that accounting will be my best choice🌚🌚

great video but now I'm EVEN MORE scared that I won't be able to handle the math in the business management degree :( but it's too late now I already applied to unis
Hey idk the uk study system....I really hope u could answer my this question,I want to do business administration and I want to major in marketing and in 12th(high school) I did not have maths nor computer sooo will I be able to find courses
Business analytics should definitely be placed higher. If you don't have understand quantitative practices and learn how to create to keep track of metrics etc, you will be at a disadvantage. Also just a douchebag?? I highly disagree. Quantitative understanding should be given priority and strategy etc cannot be truly understood if u have a weak quantitative brain
