When grey goose came to Ima Surviver, she did the same thing…taking over the babies and raising them. Very nurturing goose.

Yeah Nugget was raised in the house at first and Nugget is so friendly he loves everyone!! Nugget is so awesome I hope Charlie will be too.
I don't think Nugget is as friendly to strangers or new animals as he is with Jason, Brooke, MaryCarl and his pasture mates. He sees them as a potential threat to his flock(his pasture mates).
@@kellystephens077 Nugget is pretty much the same with others as with Brooks and Jason. Did you not see the video where Chestnut Hill took care of the animals for them while they were on vacation? They're strangers to him but he acted the same way he does for Cog Hill. She was scratching him and he laid right down like he does for Jason or Brooke.

You can try pulling the turkeys wing in and wrap it enough to hold it in place. At least when it heals it won't be dragging. Little Jesse is doing real good. Brook has been brushing her getting all her winter coat off. Jason sits with her and gives her lots of love too. She sure is spoiled. Love all the new animals. Your pasture looks like a post card. It looks so relaxing. Love little RJ. He is his daddy's son for sure. Can not deny it at all. Looks, personality, and attitude, oh my!! Oh one more thing, the goose with the baby turkey's might not be a good idea. They might get drowned trying to follow mamma in the water. It has happened.
RJ is such a little stinker!! He knows each new animal you put in the pasture and he has to Chase them around that hop he does is so adorable. He’s growing up so fast you just got to love him. 😊

That was a HOOT watching that snake crawl in the bucket "at your command". 😂 I hope the goat is all right and it's just a benign cyst. RJ is just as CUTE AS CAN BE!!! Bear should feel much better when all that hair is brushed out. I do hope you're able to succeed in socializing Charlie. Great job at the Murph challenge! Never laughed so hard when RJ jumped up after the little duck, so cute. I'm also happy to see Goose has some babies. That was one BIG snake. What kind of snake is that?😮
We called them barn snakes. I had to deal with them all the time when I was growing up in western Oklahoma. They can bite, but its really just a scratch, not poisonous. They would always find a way to get in our chicken coup. Id put em in a burlap sack and go down the road 2 miles on my bike and let them go.

🐍I got bit by a snake last fall. The BIG bugger was in my kitchen on my cook stove. Me and the hubs chased it outta the kitchen and into the living room where I was able to catch it with my “crittergitters” (hot dog tongs) but not before it bit me between my thumb and index finger. Scared me more than it hurt. It was just a black snake and I survived but called 911 none the less. The paramedics were a little leery once they found out I threw it in the front yard.😂🤣 But we had the ambulance, 3 city cops and animal control come. I was a little confused at all the fan fare but seein how I and the hubs are disabled and his sister works as the 911 dispatcher I guess she thought it was necessary.😂🤣 Oh yeah, did I mention the hubs has a prosthetic leg? I bet we were a sight. 😂🤣😂🤣
Beautiful rat snake! I've lost a lot of ducklings and chicks to those, but they're a lot more prevalent down here. I've had to hardware cloth everything until the birds are large enough not to be eaten. As for eggs, I gather often and if I find one in the nest boxes, I'll take it out and toss it out behind the back fence (national forest). Usually only takes a few times for them to get wise. I do like them hanging around, though. I haven't had a rat problem in my feed room at all in the last 4 years. It's been glorious.
When I had a dog that had to be stripped in the Spring early summer, I always did it when the birds were nest making. 😊I often wondered how many chick's had a soft, warm bed to lay in. It was great watching the nest makers come down to carry the fur off.
When will Houston be able to post his own vlogs? He's already a pro.
This why is one of the most enjoyable videos you put out. Interaction with the animals is what we need, and it seems like you enjoyed it very much. But what stunned me was Huston & his mullet! 😯😖🤣 He's the last kid I would have expected to be 80's retro. 😊 Keep your eyes open for him to be either digging around for an old orange charger, a black transam or a icy cold silver DeLorean. 😊

I'm watching the video with my grandbaby. She loves seeing the animals when you said , " Hey Girls" when talking to the donkeys She mimicked you! I've never heard her say more than Mama and Papa and no! I laughed so hard then so did she.

It's refreshing to see someone not panicking over non-venomous snakes! That was a beautiful specimen. I never saw Bear shedding like that. It's a good thing he's not in the house. I'm glad you have trustworthy people to stay in the house while you're gone. You definitely need someone there all the time with your petting zoo ... er, critters. Beautiful pasture… so green now. Gee, Daniel.. what a mixture of birds! I Dont remember the winter coat shedding for the lab, what happened to all the alpacas . They usually played with RJ. This is so funny! You are so patient with all of these birds. Why is RJ not with the other alpacas? Too small yet?
