i’ve been waiting for this kenzo vid after the update, they essentially turned widow into a hanzo hitscan. they got widow shooting literal tree trunks now.
And hanzo shoots the Empire State building... the amount of times I've died to hanzo despite being around a corner is quite infuriating

Widow is the only overwatch character now that can one shot almost all the squishies. I won't be suprised if she gets nerfed soon :(

they should nerf the ridiculous hitbox for every heroes. if not widow, it gonna be sojourn, ashe, hanzo with mercy, soldier etc that people are gonna complain next. Every match look like someone has aimbot now

Widow can one head shot, but close range is a pain for longer loading for the shots.
This update lowers the level of the game.

Blizzard balance team is incompetent. They legitimately destroy any enjoyment by constantly nerfing and buffing, then again nerfing my favourite heroes.
It makes the game not fun to have such wild swings week to week.
I've been mostly happy playing on her this season so far, I spent so long not playing her at all... because my duo needed me to be a pocket heal, but now that they are not in my life... my god. I am loving getting to play her, and I am going to get back to being a pure menace with her, lol.

While this update feels nice at first and as a genjionetrick I had some great games and alot of fun, I am scared of facing good players. As a not so great widow player maybe mid diamond in skill i had an average of 60% cri acc and 60 acc. Its not supposed to be so easy. Also lucio player shoot trucks and cannot miss.when a genji is in your face he will kill you. I see myself thinking plat genjis are masters because i am not used to getting oneshoted so fast. And holy shit crees don t miss a single shot.
Yeah I think I know exactly how u feel. Im a widow one trick and Im kinda scared to face good widows since she is so easy now.
I mean it feels good to hit so many headshots so easily now but it also feels cheap. Not really sure I like this projectile size change. It feels like every hero is like how Illari was when she came out. She couldn’t miss shots since her projectile size was so big. Also I play on console so it feels really weird that everyone is suddenly hitting their shots when usually its harder to hit shots on console

not only is Kenzo a great widow, he also has great taste in music, was watching the video and heard myself subconsciously start singing along with Touch Fluffy Tail before i realized it was playing low in the background under the gameplay, that along with other music i've heard him use in previous vids, great taste all around
This whole updated was a nerf for kiriko, Sombra and hanzo 😭 i miss two-shoting sneaky sombras, no i gotta hit 3 head shots w kiriko 😭
The moment I saw the nee headshots I knew Kenzo was going to have a field day with this.

This patch actually stinks like.. people who were already good at dps are now just unstoppable, people who previously couldnt hit the broad side of the barn now hit every shot they take..
They couldve just not made it easier to hit shots, why take the skill out of the skill-based hero shooter?

To be fair, she doesn't benefit at all from the dps passive so I don't think she's gonna be completely overpowered

I used to can't land any headshot on Widow. But in season 9 I feel like Kenzo.
P.S. I noticed that Pharah under Mercy pocket now able to kill 250hp target by two shots. Am I wrong or she used to have less damage before?

Technically, S9 Hanzo is old Hanzo (S1) just without scatter arrow and now more hp. If you're missing you're aiming in the opposite direction at this point.

This is the shittiest patch ever? I am a gm widow main and this shit just reduces the skill gap nothing else. Also makes you not able to swap to any other fps cuz ull get used to thick af bullets.
You don't play overwatch to train aim ... Overwatch is nonstop AD strafe, and praying for hs to land. That is terrible, and doesn't foster aim control. Overwatch is not an aim based game, it has 20 tick rate servers and you can move at full speed sideways from standstill lol ... Can you comprehend that???
They should have never touched the hitboxes, at least the amount that they did! they really did too much. its just too easy now 😭

They are going to hard nerf widow I think. When you have a high plate hitting 180 flicks... you know that something is wrong. I've never felt more badass... for however long it lasts

I don’t think overwatch players realise just how small the projectiles were before in comparison to other games. It’s to a point where everyone’s like “wtf” when now it’s literally the same as other games’ projectile sizes 🤣

People get mad that widows bullet hit boxes larger forgetting that every bullet hitbox is larger. Stop missing nerd.
Yes, but 10% increase on medium isn't as dramatic as 4x larger on tiny. :) The margin for missing was like 2 pixels for thin projectiles and now it's an inch. So while the hitbox/bullet size changes officially help everyone, it helps those with tiny projectiles WAY more than ones who weren't.
Ye but the only thing that made widow kind of balanced was that it was hard to hit shots. Now it's too easy
