My vet has a big sign in his office that says “Food is Not Love”. We are doing our dogs a disservice by not setting boundaries and rules regarding their food. Caesar’s the best; he knows!!
Amen Very good !
These longer videos are so much better than the shorts. I dislike UA-cam shorts. Excellent teaching lesson. Thank you so much.
That is because UA-cam is trying to compete with TikTok is why they have the shorts
I hope we get little training tips like this every week😌
UA-cam Pack! What other tips would you like us to make videos about!
How to teach people to get thier dogs use to being groomed. As a groomer, I do my best to try explaining it to clients. Some more pointers for dog owners would be great.
When dining at home, how should my dog behave?
Where should the dog be?
👏👏👏👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
How to train a dog how to behave while you are eating. At a table, or anywhere else
How to approach and handle potentially aggressive dogs when you are at the home of someone who has one. A woman I worked with had her entire lower face ripped off by a Rottweiler when she was at a friend’s home. She had been there many times before then one day the dog just suddenly attacked. Scary stuff.
I just love Cesar! The best of the best ❤
Hmm...very simple but effective technique. Thank you for sharing Mr Milan! 🦮
The Saint Francis of the pet world. Enhorabuena.
You are the best Cesar.
Educate the dog
Then train the owner
Exercise discipline love
Thank you so much!
Please show more videos on potty training puppies🙏🏼
Cesar, How do you properly tell the dog it's okay to eat it?
You are THEE GOAT. I watched you for years and glad to see you back. My friend use to get mad because her dog would listen to me and not her lol. Thanks to your teachings.
That's the way it is with my daughter's 2 dogs. All I have to do is hold up a finger they stop misbehaving. 🙂
Forever an amazing role model! Thank you Cesar
Thanks!
Love Caesar… great teacher!!!
Go Cesar, another important demonstration. You are fabulous 👌 😊

Ceaser I have 3 dogs and I recently started watching your videos. I feel you are blessed with this gift with animals thank you for sharing with us how to be better pet owners. ❤
Great video, Cesar! Thank you. ❤️
Cesar is an excellent instructor and dog lover❤️🔥😎😷🙋♀️
Need more of this.. thanks!!!!
Thank you master!
Thank you your the best ❤🙏🏾
ALWAYS an obvious PRIMARY DISTRACTION & very useful in training your dog to FOCUS ON YOU/the 'trainer'/handler/owner!!
Thank you Cesar for training us humans. We definitely need your wisdom.
Thank You! I've been watching for decades now, wow, and this helped some concepts click together. Just brought home our first family pet from a shelter and we are trying our very best to really do things right everytime and from the start.
Loved it! As always! Thank you Cesar!
Thank you for watching!
More videos like this pleasee!!! ❤

I LOVE these videos! Graciass!
I actually think this is one of Cesar's best videos. So perfect
This is brilliant.
To teach two dogs how to share toys, an adult dog that is possessive over toys against a new puppy. Adult dog throws agressive behavior even biting pup over toys. Thankyou Cesar
Thank you for this step-by-step guide and I love your analogy to human self-control!
So Glad You Did This One Cause Almost All My Babies Are Outta Control… Sidenote, Food Is How I Train Them.😃🐱🐱🐱
Not good
I taught my dog to sit at a certain spot while I get the food and place it in the bowl and when I say so he can eat. It helps so much with food aggression.
You're amazing as always. I'm going to work with Sally on that. She goes crazy when she see a squirrel or bird on her walks. ❤
Love you the method, I'm just not the parent. I've had a couple long term animals and the must have been trained. My third dog was a pup. I've never a pup till now.
Awesome thanks for sharing
Awesome ❤
❤️🤗
Thank YOU!!! I’m a certified dog trainer!!! The questions I’m asked the most is, how do I get my dog to stop running” after his food OR humans with food? This is common sense! Thank you Caesar 🐾
He make it look easy! Learned a lot today… also that Ceasars is not into sweets😂
Love you from EgypT
Цезарь тот человек, который так необходим нашей планете.

My long haired chihuahua Foxie is my furbaby-girl. She is my everything, my best friend, and with that MOST of the time we are together. BUT with some human obligations she CANNOT go bye bye with me. I feel sometimes she manipulates me with "severe Separation Anxiety." Summary Request for HOW TO DEAL WITH "manipulative Separation Anxiety" please THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US CANINE (PET) PARENTS!!!🐕🤩👍
👍👍 !
I love you Sofia!!!!
I need to try setting a cupcake on my kitchen table and leaving it there untouched for weeks haha
🥰🥰🥰
Pavlov would be proud.
Cesar, porfa, haz una versión de tu canal en español... Gracias. Saludos.
A great video. When do you allow the dog to eat? Do you then give them a command to eat?
All he says is true. I have a dog I tought cesar's way however that ďog and my dog were so easy. It will be different with more dominat dogs. This dog had no primary interest in food it was looking around taking in outher stuff.
I have two dogs, one a grey hound, name Peach and one is a rescue dog that I kinda looks like german shepard but not entirely sure what kind breed she is name Stella. My mom always let the dogs lick her plate together when she finish. My dogs didn't have any kind of fights, though for some reason, today, they suddenly start fighting. We manage to break it up and seperate the dogs. Stella is a big dog while Peach is small dog.
I believe it might be food agression. Peach always been licking plates since we got him as a puppy and the person who gave Peach say something about might have agression that he might have from in one of the parents. while Stella was timid and shy when we pick her up few years ago. It was a terrifying experience to see Stella biting Peach neck and I want some outside perspective if I'm explaining this clearly about this.
What about getting your dog to get in the shower or bath. What would be somethings to improve on that will help them out? Like moving having a shower being done outside, or working on certain things like not making the space for them not to tight.
Thank you for this step by step vid!! I'd love to see this with a VERY intense dog... like my beagle who would never look away if he smells anything eatable... and will be zeroed in on you until he dies with a level of intensity that NEVER abates. I call him 'The Shark' because he roams around the house nose to the smell in the air, looking for the source of it like a shark smells a drop of blood in the ocean 500 miles away! I've done the exercise of walking around with him with food on the ground until 'he doesn't look at it'... he never didn't slide a 'look' in... I've done the patience exercise and I'd still be there a month later because he never relaxed while the bowl was on the ground. He just sat there whining the whole time (about an hour or so)... idk how long it's going to take but it's exhausting. I've tried getting him to give us distance when WE eat (and when I prepare food, his/ours) but he sneaks back closer and closer or loses it and barks like crazy. We have to get up from the dinner table 9 times to push him back. He -of course- steals any food left unattended including whatever is cooking in a boiling pot of water (!!) and tried to eat anything on the road on walks.... it's hell and potentially dangerous...
Does this work for "Front of the Pack" dogs?
Hello, Cesar! Thank you for your helping!
I have been talking about you for more than 13 years, I recommend to read your books, to watch your videos mostly to the owners who took the dogs off the street and who never had dogs before. It helped them.
Three months ago I took a dog from the street again.
PS: I let my dogs sleep on the bed, but they know who is in charge of the pack.
I would love to learn more about what to do when your dog whines for or demand barks for almost everything.

You make it look so easy Cesar! That dog was so calm. My 3 year old goldendoodle is so hyper.
What about when the dog is already eating when I want to take his food he grows at me and wants to bite my hand is that trainable too?
Did you use this on Cartman when you were on South Park?
but what to do if the dog is aggressive? like dobie, rotti or ptbull?
I would like to see a video about treating the dogs equal. I'm babysitting my mothers dog for 2 weeks and he's got something wrong with his tummy. He needs special diet. But my dog don't need that. She wants her treats, as usual. How would you solve that problem? I don't have the opportunity to keep the dogs apart.
Ok, but then how do you tell the dog when it's ok to feed? There has to be some ritual, sign, command...
My question is, did the dog eventually get that food? 😅
no because you ate the food 🥊
I have to ask you cuz I haven't seen you training big aggressive dogs. What happened, I bet is hard but what we can do in those cases. Thnxs
It's very hard to accept these Simple Rules boundaries and limitations because we live in a world where everyone wants to be their kids best kids and animals best friends. Somehow they think that means never telling them what to do put it's the opposite that's true
Yeah, but how do you tell the dogs "now it's ok to have it"?
I point at the food and click my fingers.. works with every dog I've used the technique on.
First
Hi, I'm Christie. I just want to ask how to train my 4-month old not to aggressively bite? need help. 🥺
Basically……Teach your dog restraint at all times for all things…..Food ..water…play time…..work….people….other dogs…..Anything you can think of……Make them wait……and rely on you for release….it teaches a dog patience ….and being calm…..
What if the dog simply ignore my poke to snap him out of it?
What do you do when the dog bites me if I tried this 🥲
So how does the dog know when it is okay to eat?
When YOU SAY it is OK/release from STAY/or any other command...speaking of boundaries, Service Dogs are taught to avoid' fallen' food at the household dinner table before gradually being exposed to more complex situations - public eateries, etc. So, any dog can be taught the boundaries regarding food & when it is OK to proceed to eat or not!
Yeah but he said in the past not to have a release command as it gets the dog into an excited state
Interjecting with another/different command to s-l-o-w dog BEFORE it gets to the food bowl
En español
Invade vs invite👍👍
And When is the time for him to star eating?????? I miss that part.
I love his teachings but I just wish he had actually fed the dog on camera as a great culmination of his lesson, now I don’t know if the poor dog got fed or just teased ☹️
All good but the dog never got the food!!
Ma dopo il cane ha mangiato ? Nel video non lo si vede mangiare . Poveretto ha annusato di continuo senza poter mangaire
How l wish l could send you a video of my dog he is his phone the only problem and the only thing I go to is that I have to walk away nine hours no contact no nothing. I can’t even be in the same room for him to eat.
Maligator druels if I make him wait long but he like 🥩 yes sir
Rumor has it the dog hasn't eaten since.
PETA said Milan training is cruel because he treats a dog like an animal.
Poor dog didnt get to eat at the end.
How can I stop my three-year-old dog eatingso fast so quick that he makes himself sick?
Special 'puzzle' bowls have been invented/created for that very purpose = to slow a 'chow hound' at meal time!! Found in most major pet supply stores OR, cheaper solution/less hassle - dog is already habituated to it's own bowl - just put a brick or two in it's own feeding bowl forming partitions/dividers to slow his ability to get at his food too quickly. Learned that from a champion bird-dog trainer/breeder. He, Ed Hanks, was the primary trainer for Remington Arms back in the mid-80's!!
@@charleswarren2556 we have a special bowl like that, but it doesn’t stop him eating fast
OK, this was general info without asking any questions about you or your dog. Seems was unsuccessful in my attempt - NOT trying to undermine Mr. Milan's work. Since you're viewing his video, follow-up with him & I will bow out! Good Luck. If he can resolve this issue for you please let me know if his resolution was successful so I can add that to my new skill list & disregard my dated method!! THANK YOU in advance & PARDON if caused m-o-r-e confusion!
'nuf said, ALOHA 4 now...
Works with my dog, but fat people keep snapping cupcakes out of my hands. Can you please make another video, where you correct fat people with “sshhht”?
