why do people have to overanalyze a performance? in the end, perfect technique does not make a good interpretation. i once read the foreword of a poetry anthology, compiled by some guy whose poetry i liked. He discussed what makes a good poem. every time he tried to define it, he felt constricted, like he denied freedom of art. eventually, he made two piles: one contained poems he liked and the other contained poems he didn't like. best collection of poems i ever looked through.
I really wish there was an official Lisa Ono channel here on UA-cam. It seems like the more videos people post of her, the quicker there removed which leads to the cancellation of those user accounts(which I really feel bad for them, their great people that love her music probably as much as I do). An official channel would prevent the removal of the videos because it would be in association with Lisa and/or her promoters. Then maybe we can get more great content from her like before, and no more user accounts would be terminated!...here's hoping!
