I actually self taught myself how to do a backbend at a festival and it was only three day festival. Some days were pretty rough and yes I did hurt myself a bit but now I can do it perfectly 😊
@@KAYLEEGRACELIMXINENMoe there was a point I could do that, it was scary getting there, but I got there. Now, I kinda lost practice because some things came up, and now I can’t go halfway without getting stuck, unable to get lower, and I have to go back up, because I end up looking like I’m seizing, when I’m not.
Thank you so much! I used to have a backbend but i collapsed while doing it and it was REALLY painful and when i tried to learn it for cheer, i couldnt because of a mental block. I saw this on my fyp and i used these tricks and tonight after 3 YEARS i got it and i cant wait to show my coaches!! your videos help sooo much i cant thank you enough!!
I would love if you had like someone who doesn’t already know it just because I feel like we could see what it looks like for someone who doesn’t already have it😊❤tyyyyy❤❤❤❤ also I love these vids sm
I learned my backbend a few years ago if you are to scared my friend told me to put my hands up and look and my hands going over my head then look at the grass idk why but I wasn't scared and can now do it no problem 😊 Edit :I think I was 4th ❤ Edit: tysm for 87 like 👍
Thank you so much! I have been trying to do a backend for SO long I’m taking like 3 years long and I am SOOOOOOO close to getting one! Thank you again! 😊
how i learned a backbend : 1) my teacher put her arms under my back but did not touch 2) i fell with my hands on the ground and surprisingly got into a backbend
It can also help to get up from a bridge/backbend by lifting up your hands just go higher and higher each time and when ur confident try it all tgthr 😊
I got my backbend last year. I know you don't want to hear this, but it's literally one of those skills which need like no progressions. if you're stretched enough, go for it against a mattress- there's a low risk of injury. it's best to just do it or you might psych yourself out. for some people, walking your hands down a wall will help, but for some of my friends it's actually harder.
I used to struggle with going into my knees like I’d fall into my knees every and it would cause me to fall but once I looked at my hands it started working sm better
OH MY F- BODY THANKS SO MUCH I SWEAR TO GOD THTAT HELPED ME I REALLY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DO A BACKBEND I TRIED ALL HE VIDEOS AFTER I SAW THIS I IMMEDIATELY KNEE HOW TO DO IT IF I HAD MONEY ID SEND YOU 2,000 FOR THIS HELP I DONT KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU ❤❤❤ THANKS SO MUCH I LOVE YOU 💕
I accidentally taught myself how to do a back bend when trying to imitate a pretty hard pose a cosplayer did, it feels really fun and my friends get freaked out when I do it haha
I am so upset that I have been working on this for 20 minutes and still can't do it!!!! 😢 good advice but I guess not for me🙁 but I still enjoy your videos!
Honestly, as a Jellycat collector, my inner voice says 'tell him to get the jellycat!' My brain however is like 'that's litterally one of the worst jellycats to exsist, he either needs one of the bunnies or js go for the squishmallow. Ultimately, gotta go with my brain on this one lol
i used to be able to back bend, the i lost it 😂😂 i did get it back eventually but i lost it once again and don’t plan on trying to get it back 😂 (i quit gymnastics)
Best place to practIce is probably soft grass cuz its not so plush that u just slip like ur bed is but its not too hard that u can actually hurt urself
Once I learned how to do a backbend and I kept on doing them because they were fun until one day I tried to do one and ended up flipping over and twisting around and blacking out. No more back bends for me
I just started doing backbends on my bed so that if a landed on my head it didn’t hurt and then as I started to land it more frequently I didn’t the wall thing but using the side of my bed until I got it. That was about a year ago and I stopped doing them for a year and I just tried doing one now on the floor and I can still do it, but I have week wrists so it always makes my wrists hurt and plus I don’t have a flexible back so my back end doesn’t look good because my legs are always bent and I cannot stand ik from it no matter what I do!!
So heres a story of me attempting a back end so I was 7 at this time my mom helped do it then I put a been bag behind me and i missed the bean bag and i broke my elbow it was tragic but now i can fo one! Edit:sry for the spelling mistakes
Just sent this to my sister she can’t get her back bend thank you!
This is the one thing I retained from gymnastics when I was 3
I actually self taught myself how to do a backbend at a festival and it was only three day festival. Some days were pretty rough and yes I did hurt myself a bit but now I can do it perfectly 😊

One tip that helped me a lot for when you’re doing the actual backbend is to look at your hands until you can look at the ground if that makes sense
Thanks rilie your videos r not just helpful for cheerleaders but gymnasts like me too

OMG THX SM I LEARNT IT JS NOW
This reminded me of the lyrics "I'm done doing backbends, i break and i snaps and its no fun (No fun)" from the contortionist by Melanie Martinez LOL
damn, i'm a crybaby and forgot that part of the lyrics, but i feel the same way as melanie rn 😢
It can also help to get up from a bridge/backbend by lifting up your hands just go higher and higher each time and when ur confident try it all tgthr 😊
Omg I love ur vids so much and I'm going to try ur tricks RN!
Tysm I think this will help me out a ton! ❤

I just recently hurt myself in a backbend so I'm relearning backbend so this will help me a lot thank you😊
I learned my back bend by myself and all I did was just arch back and look at my hands😁
I learnt it in 2 mins. I just naturally did it on a soft bed to avoid breaking myself
Talent 👏👏
Guys quick tip watch your hands while you are going down cause one time I didn’t and I fell on my back and got winded 😅

It is I’m going to gymnastics today😂 and I can do many things I can even do a backflip
I can do a back bend from long ago but I wish to get up from it for an example I wanna learn how to do a front walk over ❤❤
remember the more flexibility the easier
Me watching this knowing i have my back bend already😂
I never did any of this but I can do a backbend
I needed this i just can't seem to do it with out a spotter
Pretty
Used to be so good at these..... tried recently and I did get it, but I nearly tore my abs in the process. Retreating back to yoga, lol
I guess sort of do it back then but can’t lift myself up. I was trying to do it on the wall. My back was like broken, but I keep practicing.❤😊
Next can you show how to up from a bsckend bc I always fall
I have actually cracked the back of my head open once on tile😂
When I was at gymnastics my elbow pushed inwards because I bent down too fast and I was on a mat so lesson learned 😅👍
Just sent this to my group chat
Also how I got mine is I watched my hands going down I hope this helps!!
I learned my back bend a while ago and I’ve never lost it
I can do a back bend perfectly
i just throw myself in one and make sure i'm watching my hands so i land right 😂
A good way I learned is my couch took a yoga band and put it on my waist and held it
I accidentally taught myself how to do a back bend when trying to imitate a pretty hard pose a cosplayer did, it feels really fun and my friends get freaked out when I do it haha
And make sure to stretch before doing it😌
oh thats why i could only go one hand at a time
I don't know what it is but whenever I'm in a bridge I get a headache and I don't know why it happens 😭
I am so upset that I have been working on this for 20 minutes and still can't do it!!!! 😢 good advice but I guess not for me🙁 but I still enjoy your videos!
i wish i knew this before i learned cuz i was just on my bed like bonking my head the whole time but i least i got it
Honestly, as a Jellycat collector, my inner voice says 'tell him to get the jellycat!' My brain however is like 'that's litterally one of the worst jellycats to exsist, he either needs one of the bunnies or js go for the squishmallow. Ultimately, gotta go with my brain on this one lol
I learnt it on a trampoline if u fall on ur head it does not hurt and just do it a multiple times and if u get it try it on grass ❤
My sister can di this so good i willl show you in my next vidiio
I remember trying to do a backbend on concrete and getting a big head bang 🙏 please be careful yall😭
i used to be able to back bend, the i lost it 😂😂 i did get it back eventually but i lost it once again and don’t plan on trying to get it back 😂 (i quit gymnastics)
I’m not lying but this is exactly how I got my backbend(but not moving in my bridge or learning how to get up
lol I can’t do a bridge and I got my backbend
Best place to practIce is probably soft grass cuz its not so plush that u just slip like ur bed is but its not too hard that u can actually hurt urself
I tried to do the walk down one and I fell and hit my head on a cinder block
I'll try this, next time I have burning desire to end up in the hospital
I learned mine with pillows 💀
Once I learned how to do a backbend and I kept on doing them because they were fun until one day I tried to do one and ended up flipping over and twisting around and blacking out. No more back bends for me
Definitely going to try this but I might never respond again and probably gonna die😂😂😂😂😂
Make a channel of the second
Gyönyörű vagy imádlak 💗🌷💗🌷🌹🌹🌹💗🌷🌹🌹💗🌷🌹
my toxic trait is thinking I can do this 😂
Hi, 46 year old with auto immune issues and wicked inflammation.
I promise you I cannot teach myself this, but I can try!
Omg I was trying this and only warmed up my back and I was practicing bridges and omg my leg cracked and know it’s killing me
A 90 year old:alright lets do it!
*dies*
She did it when she was a little girl ❤
I learned it in a month
Am I the only one who can’t to the wall one but can do a backbend anyways?!
I can do the wall but I am trying to reach down like her. ❤
I can’t do this bc I have no back flexibility help 😭
I can do that but I cant stand up after im in a bend😂
I got sick from practicing 💀
real, i think my legs are never going to stop hurting after attempting to lift my arms 😢
I can do it, but iam too scared 😂
I remember I let my friend help me do a back bend and she dropped me and I got a head concussion 🤕 😊😊😊😊😊(I’m 6,1 btw so it really hurt)
I can do one but I do it like I just go for it
So heres a story of me attempting a back end so I was 7 at this time my mom helped do it then I put a been bag behind me and i missed the bean bag and i broke my elbow it was tragic but now i can fo one!
Edit:sry for the spelling mistakes
I taught myself how to backend when I was 8-
All I did was face my fear of falling ITS NOT THAT HARD God dang
the main issue is flexibility. You just put that as a given that people are already flexible enough to do it
It's inspiration if you really want too you can. ❤
I tried to float my hands and cracked my head open 😢
I broke my wrist doing a back bend lol
I did it when I was 13 not even thinking it was something special or trained for HELP
Omg first❤ can I get a pin ❤love you’re content ❤
I thought my self how to one on my couch
