@@4ddy23 Have you ever driven or heard one in real life yet? If so, thats a tough opinion to say they sound like "crap". If not than shut up about things you have no clue about. I own an 8Y and been to a car meet yesterday and everyone said it sounds killer stock.
Love it! Been driving mine for 4 weeks now in the US. Really fast and nimble. Reminds me of my old JDM cars, but with amazing tech and build quality. Overall a superb car! 👌
Just got one, agreed. It feels more like a hot hatch than any Audi I’ve ever driven before (b5 s4, b7 rs4, 8t rs5), which is a good thing. I never liked how any of those cars drove in corners when pushing them, the other Audis are great around town or at 7/10 but fall apart at the limits imho. The rs3 is another animal though, more like an old r32 than any Audi. Then it has all the comfort and tech of a modern Audi, almost like an introduction to the world of high end luxury, not all of the leather but still plush and luxurious enough for me. It’s my first Audi and I love it so much, I don’t want to get rid of it any time soon for sure, I feel so lucky I got one.
The tone of the sound changes but the max DB output does not. You have a module that will open the RS exhaust flaps whenever you want 100% instead of the OEM regulated percentages. which is like €400. So if you don“t care about the little performance gain I would not spend 6.5k on this exhaust system. And just buy a €400 module for the RS exhaust and it will do the same trick.

Eryk. Only 403? Isn't that enough already? It's already small so it should be lightweight than the rs7. It just weighs at 1629 kg. That's almost porsche level weight

I traded my 2019 TTRS for my new RS3. I agree the TT interior is better quality, but not night and day - just look in the back of your car and you'll see plenty of cheap plastic there... also, the TT is very dated now... the mk3 design goes back over 8 years and it shows. The new RS3 I have is just fine in terms of quality and is way better in terms of tech. They both sound the same, fact and just like my TTRS, my new RS3 sounds better as the miles go on it. The RS3 has better brakes than TTRS, way better brakes. Also, handles and rides better, plus the RS3 has a better driving position. Looks? Yeah, the TTRS is good looking car, but the new RS3 is as well, in more aggressive and purposeful way. Obviously the RS3 is more practical, but the overall factor for me - the TT is getting old and it shows. Shame they didn't do a mk4, as that would have my RS3's chassis, brakes, tech, etc... now that would have been a car to own. Oh, did I tell you the new RS3 is also faster than the TTRS - had a couple try it on with me, my car pulls away from them with ease 😎

Such a beautiful looking car ruined by sound and emission regulations, and the f'ing soft limiter. I'll keep my 2016 RS3 for a while longer.

Other than a V8 nothing sounds better than an RS3 with an exhaust fitted in my opinion.
