12:19 This is a really strong kickstand solution. I can tell from my own experience. For example, this Enduro default kickstand is a complete joke(It just fell apart). I´m using Side Stand Honda Kawasaki CR KX 125 250 500 Kickstand from ebay.
see that kawasaki kick stand was it for vector frame? I was going to buy it as vector has a minimum order amount, but was not sure if will fit my vector frame.
@@DatEbikeGuy yeah i know mate but they only deliver a max order of 0ver £150.00 ive nothing else to buy total bumber was not aware or would have got with frame.
Noticed in your earlier videos that your discs on your front wheel are not fitted correctly, they have direction arrows that should point the same way as the arrow on the tyre so one of them needs to be turned around
Great as always! Some guy pointed out on my vid about leaving all the top fork bolts loose until the topcap is added so the bearings can be properly compressed in 👍That sidestand looks really nice although need to check if it fits my frame.
Saying about leaving the top fork bolts loose made me just think that removing the Fork legs completely and just adding the top and bottom yokes to the frame would of been way easier and then slide the legs back in after. Scrap that idea as you would have to undo the pinch bolt to line up top and bottom yolks. HOHOH i'm thinking out loud.
@@EverythingEbikeChannel I wasn't going to use torque arms as these frames usually run without any as the dropouts are so thick. Do you need them on yours?
@@baconbuttties Will do on mine as there's a bit of play in the axle slot and the pinch bolts are only M4 so can't actually close it. Planning to design a clamp torque arm that can be made with plate steel and basic tools so doesn't require a CNC. If it's a snug fit, then should't be an issue - basically you don't want it rocking in the slot when 'regening' and accelerating.
@@EverythingEbikeChannel Yeah my dropouts are extremely snug so hopefully will stay nice and tight. On my swing arm it actually has a bolt on piece on either side which is like using a torque arm sort of. in my next video I will be showing the drop outs in detail.
@@baconbuttties Yes i messaged them because i had one i had cut the side mounts off and then later needed to mount outside the frame once i had a bigger battery. I noticed the v2 online and it got me thinking instead of buying a new controller it looks like the mounts would fit so i messaged them on there Facebook and said it would be a good idea to offer the brackets separate, and a couple days later i got a message that they were now available on the Aliexpress store with a link provided!!
You may not hear anything from Aliexpress seller as it's Chinese New Year and everything is closed down for at least a week. What a shame they gave you wrong controller, are there any other differences between V1 and V2 ??? Loving your build.
Good bit of info there !! 🙂 had to grind off sides of my controller too ,as I have Chinese frame and wouldn't fit properly! Yes the seat is really good quality. I will measure the swing arm where the stand fits and put it in the next video as it may help anyone who wants to buy it.👍🏼
So question I haven’t watched all your videos yet but I just received my Sabvoton controller and there is no display connector…? If you purchase a Sabvoton with a display in a kit it comes with a display connector and an alarm connector…? I see you in your later videos you have a display and I’m wondering how did you work that out? Did you have to solder a connector on the board?
If you buy a sabvoton and display together the sellers have altered the sabvoton inside to work with the paired display. I first made the mistake of buying a display separately and it didn't work so sold that and replaced it with a display that would show indicators/lights and read speed /voltage from sabvoton.
I have just used standard shipping as DHL shipping is £23 just for those small parts. I will have to wait but should be quicker because it's so light . I reckon if i had used fast shipping on all the parts especially the heavy ones would of cost loads.
Hi Mr Butties! Can you tell me your opinion of the 72150 Sabvoton controller in terms of output advantage over the standard aliexpress controller that came with my stealthbike? mine was a 5000watt stealth and Im running a 72volt battery. The controller it came with is an 80a. Do you think its worth the upgrade? Cheers.
@@TheHowardski If the battery can do 120 amp continuous and 240 amp peak then you should be able to get more power using a the sabvoton 150 amp controller .
