Watching you plant up a really cute planter in shorts on a sunny day gives me hope that my yard will not be full of snow forever! Thanks for the glimpse of spring 😊
Congratulations on being featured on Steph's top 20 video. When I saw your photo in the video I said "Awe Robbie!" That was a great list of UA-camrs she put together.
Robbie, it was so great to see you in shorts…shorts! It’ll be at least 31/2 months for me! Great plantings, it’s going to look fantastic! Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦❄️👏
Oh Robbie cant wait to see what it looks like this cominh spring and early summer. It looks so beautiful right now. I love all the plants you picked for this big container. The candy tuff is going to make everything pop. Great video, i love your channel and a Big Congratulations on getting top 20 in the Hooked and Rooted Dealy with Steph. When see called your name and the name of your channel, i hollered out YES,!! YES,!!!! YES. I LOVE YOU , BRENT AND YOUR LITTLE SISTER. YALL ARE SO DANG FUNNY. Thank you for all you do for us.❤❤❤
When ever I see a rooster I say” that is not my rooster” and I’m in my car just passing it by. lol my husband says “what?!” I say” it’s a Robbie thing”.
Robbie, I hope when you do sell this house, whoever buys it will take care of everything you have done. I have had a few homes where the buyers did not and driving by, it broke my heart that all my work was gone. Some people love cement over greenery, it's too bad.
Robbie I have several varieties of Grevilleas. They don’t want any fertilizer and NO summer water, you’re right the hummingbirds love them. I haven’t seen the one you just bought. Love the color. My favorite so far is peaches and cream 4ft wide and 5 feet tall. Great plant for our drought ridden central coast. Plus the deer and gopher don’t brother them. Happy gardening.
Ooh Robbie that planter is going to be good.❤ I have those tall burgundy alliums, and they give lovely whimsy as they sway in the breeze. They have returned for 4 years in my ZN6A area. I forgot to plant some alliums and just found out I can still plant them now even though the top soil is frozen but not frozen 3 inches under. However I needed something that can grow on top of those bulbs. You inspired me to find some candytuft or seed or another annual ground cover. Thanks.😂
Love the change to the planter. Could you talk to us a bit about Candytuft? I’d never heard of it until about 2ish years ago. I seem to recall you saying it is a love it or hate it plant, but never understood why.
I just got my Mauve Visit our Garden baseball cap today! And my limit edition key chain! Very happy with it! In the pictures it seemed like the bill of the hat was longer than normal, though it’s totally normal! Thank you! Loved the way you packaged it too, so cute!
Great video! It's so nice to see someone designing and planting. Everyone else is doing seed starting and potting up house plants. Ya can only watch so much of that! What zone are the dogwoods? They are so beautiful.
That is beautiful. Love the combination. Keep an eye on the creeping fig. I planted some in a hay rack and the root system is insane. It choked everything out.
Hi Robbie! The shot of the rooster was too funny. The planter looks so pretty with the plants you chose for it, and when everything fills out and the bulbs bloom it will be even prettier. The grasses will look good where you planted them. Will they be a kind of privacy plant for the front porch? I know you talked about wanting more privacy there. I looked up the Wooly Grevillea and it's not hardy in my Zone 7a. Bummer! It's so pretty. I looked up the candy tuft, too, and it said they don't look good in pots after a while. They, also, that they don't smell very good. Have you had any problems with them? Will you eventually plant them in the landscape? Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi robbie hey can you make a espalier shape with the creeping fig? i think it would be artistic if you could create a “visit my garden” logo on the wall behind the red twig dogwoods and the creeping fig attached to the logo on the wall!! double chefs kiss!!!💋 hope you both are have an amazing time at the shore!! hi mr brent!!! stacey from philly
Hi Robbie, did you have to prep the supertunia vista bubble gum in anyway to over winter it? I left mine alone and my bigger plant is not looking too good.
Anyone else experiencing hitting the like button 👍on a video ONLY to see it cleared. Like I never hit it. I’ve taken screenshots and sure enough : I hit like 👍, a few moments later it’s not showing I did 🤔
Maybe I woke up on the wrong side of the bed BUT just my opinion no one NEEDS a rooster unless they plan on raising chickens, especially in a residential area, they are totally annoying! Okay Sir Robbie I’m not going to comment anymore because I have a feeling people are going to Lynch me with their words and I probably, most likely deserve it BUT I want to see if I can make it to 71 yrs old in March. ❄️⛄️💚🙃
How to say this without sounding like a broom flier with a b instead of a w ? Oh forget it ! You’re a big boy now so I’m SURE you’ve thought of it. Hope you’re having a GREAT time on your vacation ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃 oh what the heck ? Dear Robbie, I know that you want more property at some point and I know that EVERYONE needs a break once in a while BUT didn’t you just go to Hawaii? Sorry that was out of line and NONE of my business what you spend your money on is your decision so strike that comment . Sorry honey I just want you to be able to move sooner rather than later. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ROBBIE ! Have fun life is short ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃

Love this plant combo. Great idea to include bulbs. Looking forward to see how the coastal bulbs and Wooly Greveillia also a coastal plant will do?
I used to do gardening a lot it's very therapeutic. Hopefully I'll find time to do it again

He’s in shorts! I am sitting in sub zero windchills! Time to move!!

The Grevillea looks like someone spit a mouthful of pomegranate seeds all over it. Very pretty and unusual.

I bet a lot of the neighbors feel the same way about the rooster 🐓
Where I am, roosters in town residentially are illegal. I agree with you!
You don’t need a rooster to get eggs from chickens. Robbie’s said it wasn’t his rooster
PS, I gave myself a thumbs down on my previous comment ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃
