Pomegranate - Watercolour Painting

- This week we will be painting this Pomegranate using watercolour, with easy to follow steps. We provide you with a FREE download so that you can trace down the outline. To access the outline you can join Patreon for free, which is linked below. This week I have used paints from Rae's Blooms Palette from Deep Deep Light and have a reference DEEPDEEPRAE for 10% off all of their watercolour paints BUT you can use what you have, and if you get stuck with colour matching, let me know in the comments and I will help you. I like the music, I sometimes have a hard time with sound when narration and music are at the same time, but you don't do that, so I am able to follow all instructions and enjoy the musical interludes :) thanks so much

What tier on Patreon should I join? I’m an acrylic seasoned painter but learning watercolor botanicals. I love loose botanicals. Thanks for the videos
Hi - For the full length botanical tutorials (we launch monthly on 2nd each month) - you will need the Clematis tier - when you join that level you also have access to the lower level tier which has the monthly minis as well as all the outlines (from around September last year) to accompany our UA-cam tutorials.
This is really nice! Would it be too much to ask for an alternative palette in W&N, as no familiar at all with DDL?
Hi no problem. Cadmium, lemon or cadmium yellow will work for the yellow tone that I used, you could use sap, olive or both mixed together for the green and a mixture of either Perylene green or perhaps Payne’s grey mixed in with say, olive green to darken up the green tones. You could use a little bit of burnt umber for the orangey tone that I used. Hope this helps
