11:08 this whole spiel from Will really resonated that’s where I’ve been stuck for the last decade. I think when I was just starting out the goal was to prove i can live off my skills but I guess that just turned into being a tool for people who most of the time are not visual thinkers
Awesome episode guys! Will Terry, I relate so much with your experience. Super inspiring to know you shifted your career around your late 40’s I’m kind of in the same path and helps a lot to know you take the courage to do it. Thank you guys for the podcast
1:02:40 Artists frequently get exploited really bad by the art/gaming/entertainment industries. As creatives we love to create, to inspire people. However, to earn income from those creations artists - whether they realize it or not - are engaging in business, as an employee, hired-gun, entrepreneur, whatever. The art world is filled with great discussion about how to make art, but the same is not true about the business of art. To empower ourselves, we need to talk about business more often; ignorant artists are easier to exploit!
Interesting chat... there's also the spiritual/psychological side to art too, this can be very rewarding, enjoyable and helpful. @AnthonyWheelerArt Where can we see the discussion you had with the concept artist, I've looked on your Twitch... who was the artist?

Why not "Penguins' drawing bootcamp"?
Lee, with the earlier waking hour, are you going to bed earlier or just getting less sleep?
