My dad has the 2nd gen Barako and I fixed it for him during the pandemic when it got stuck for nearly a year. I am very happy to see the smile on my dad's face. I think with this FI Barako, I can want one for myself, yung tipong pang-stroll sa BGC pero naka full gear with motovlog setup, hahaha, that will be the coolest thing to park sa Moto Streat on weekends. This will be a good base bike for a cafe racer build.

This is a good one, Good job ang Kawasaki dito for doing Barako an EFI, sa panahon na sobrang taas ng gas at mababa ang kita dahil ng mga trike drivers dahil sa napaka bihirang pagbtaas ng pamasahe isang magandang compensation yung magakaroon ng matipid na motor. Thanks sir Zac, sana maraming Opertors at Drivers maka-view nito. This is a game changer. ☝️

My parents got a barako 2 pre-pandemic pang service sa kids. However, the C virus came. My dad used the barako as his service to work instead. Still working good now, A great and comfortable bike indeed.

Sir Zach idk if na-mention niyo na may Hazard Light na pala ang Barako III. This is a good addition sa safety at visibility sa mga business-type motorcyles dahil mas madali na silang makikita esp. pag nakahinto sila sa gilid. Kudos sa Kawasaki!

Thank you for the review. This short wheelbase version is good only for tricycles. Given the entry of three wheelers, and the safety features it offers, the future for sidecars look bleak. It's time for Kawasaki to come up with a version with . . . - long wheelbase (at least 6 inches longer), - fuel injected and ABS to make it euro 4 compliant, - removeable pillion seat, flat carrier, crash guard, extra large pillion foot rest (ie Yamaha YTX) to make it safe for the riders to carry heavy loads.
Maybe it's time for Kawasaki to come up with 3 wheeler ala Bajaj RE. Sawang sawa na kami sa maliit na gulong ng Bajaj. It's time for Kawasaki to move forward to 3 wheelers. Forget about the tricycle market, mawawala na yan!
why not design a small 4 wheeled commercial vehicle that is classified as a "Quadricycle" that is engineered to do the work na ginagawa ng tricycle which is to transport 3-4 people okaya mga ilang sacks of rice ang maganda lang sa tricycle to what I understand is very economical siya in terms of running cost saka sa purchase price. pero in terms of engineering... come on.. a motorcycle is only designed to carry two people and nothing more, so overloading it affects handling, at braking performance..

You should try the ytx, meron kaming dalawa trike and kolong-kolong pang harabas and pang construction. Sudden braking hindi ka ipapahiya kahit drum ang dalawang brakes
We were the ones doing the Handle Bars of the old Kawasaki Barako back then in a plant in Carmona, Cavite, and to see it improve now, makes me look back to those times na ako ang nag QI ng mga ito when I was in corporate world. Low speed gearbox at low speed sprockets, malakas sa akyatan talaga babad sa 3rd gear yung Barako na kulong-kulong ko para makasabay lang sa mga 4 wheels at Victory na 50-60kph Olongapo Zig Zag road. Panis yung naka single na TMX 155 na sa tingin ko eh nakaHighspeed combination at may angkas pero hirap hirap na umovertake at naasar sa akin parehas maingay mga motor, kasi binilhan ko rin ng Chicken Pipe sa akin. Inovertakean pa ako ulit, dahil huminto at umihi pa sa pababang part at sinusubukan akong ibrake check. Pinatay ko ilaw ko at dinikitan ko siya, talagang babangain ko siya kapag sinubukan niya apakadilim pa naman doon at wala naman sasakyan sa likod at kasalubong, iyon mukhang nagets niya. Iyon huminto siya bago lumagpas ng Gapo tagaDinalupihan ako eh. Hahahaa 😅😅😅 Bigat pa naman sidecar makakapal pa naman ng bakal pangbanyera ng Isda.
