Thank you very much for these video's, they are the most informative about the DPRK availabl on youtube..
Yes! When I saw on my recommended a 32th episode I couldn't believe my eyes. It's too much content to be true.
Well Chinese visitors seem to have a lot more leeway than other tourist ... The SAO group are doing a good job in portraying their hostess and the environment around them!
Because they were respectful and not challenging. And they share some policies.
I wish I, a south korean, could visit there someday..
16:20 Fancy seeing Bruce Lee on t.v. and it’s in English showing Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist). 👍😀非常好
Really interesting how much more freedom Chinese tourist receive. Most tourist videos from westerners feel confined and adhere to a strict monotonous tour. I'm new to your videos, but is there a reason you get more lee way? Do you hold a special travel visa that allows more privileges? or do all Chinese tourist receive similar treatment. NK are very dependant on China so it would be understandable that Chinese visiting NK would get different treatment than westerners, but I wasn't expecting this.
It's because politically China isn't so far different from the DPRK so they probably have more trust for Chinese tourists. Westerners have wildly different cultural attitudes so they probably treat western tourists with greater suspicion, expecting them to walk off the beaten track or ask uncomfortable questions etc
I know, which makes these videos so much more interesting. I feel like this is the real DPRK, versus what western visitors and journalists are limited to. I find that North Korea is just like most any other country, aside from the fact that very few get to see the outside world, but life looks normal in Pyongyang. I think that's due to Kim Jung Un.
Also consider the fact that Western country (looking at you USA) bombed N.K so much that it killed 25% of their population, destroyed all the buildings in the country and then along with their allies, sanctioned them economically.
@@omr4745 and the fact that western news media has been pumping negative propaganda about DPRK for decades now. It's no wonder journalists get the absolute bare minimum. Like how many times do we hear about a top official that supposedly got btfo by a missile launcher or dropped in a pool a piranas only for them to reappear a couple months later lol
@@omr4745 While that is true, not all western country's supported the US back then. I bet that folks from Moscow are treated the same way like someone from France would be treated.
Very informative..im a new subscriber from the philippines
THANKS TO YOU GUYS, i can see inside Pyongyang. Its beautiful . especially the Tour guide, hahahahaha.
Interesting documentary style of DPRK that I had seen so far that truly shows the life of people in the capital.
Can I vist NK with my disabled cat?!
(He need me all the time I take him with me all around)
all your videos are great and very informative. thank you.
15:00 I love her shoes but I can't imagine walking around far in them
there was the same type of shops in China in 1980s which was called "friendship shop".
There is like this shop in any hotel of Europe or USA! May in an airport and VERY EXPENCIVE!
Things I've learned so far
1. That fun park on the Yalu River isn't (entirely) a prop (anymore?)
2. People actually live in/use the new buildings in Pyongyang
3. Be part of a smaller tour group for better conversations
4. Don't go to the 15th floor of this hotel (12:57)
You basically unlearned the degenerate western media trolling on North Korea and started to see the truth isn't what you've been told. There is a reason the USa deep state is lying all the time and hiding information, they're the cause for many world problems and IN the USa. They're very afraid that their own citizens know too much about how they're manipulating them through media brainwash and about the infamy they bring to the Usa abroad.
Thank you for your great information on korean life.
Thank u guys
I want to see the guide's room! How bizarre that they're required to sleep there as well. That means she only gets to go "home" one day a week.
So she has not boyfriend now
Why did you put "home" in quotation marks? It is her actual home.
@@carmenl163 Because she spends more time "living" at work than she does at her actual home.
@@OMG_BeCkY Oh, I "see".
@@OMG_BeCkY They mentioned in the last video she only does this twice a year
The woman's comment about the bathroom in "DPRK's finest hotel, compared to just an average hotel in one of China's provinces. Chinese hotels could beat the Koreo, hands down. The lady understands quality and what is not.
It's may be, but this 3 Star hotel BEATS any 4 Star hotel of Europe and USA!
As someone who went to Japan twice. The bathroom looks like Japanese bathrooms in the simple hotels we've been and i find them cute and nice still
China bad every other time but apparently China good when it fits a western narrative. Get a grip on reality angloid
She was throughly unimpressed by that hotel room
She seemed a bit snobbish, repeating over and over again that they were in "DPRK finest hotel".
Thank you for the Great video
Xiaojin is single! ☺️
Yeah, not that you benefit much from it
@@lvanlam9807 iceeeeee
Dreams are free.
North koreans are not allowed to have intimate relations with foreigners.
Ms Kim will be loved in Japantoo.
amazing !!
where did the female guide stay in hotel?
The fat or the slim one ? 😆
现在没有汉语字幕😠,我在学习中文
An elevator without elevator music? Bad hotel! 😄
That tour guide is very pretty
在朝鲜不要说“韩语”这个词。。。要有点敏感性
Please upload English subtitles to youtube so that we can use the machine translation feature. I only speak Portuguese!
who was that person in 7:58 standing like a robot lol
0:30. LOL, so the one star hotal in DPRK is equal to a 3 star hotel in China? Too funny!
Looks like hotels in America.
Looks like hotels anywhere.
I’m vegetarian .. do you think I could manage in North Korea 🇰🇵?
i read your tour company can accommodate this, yes.
@@annascibek3082 Thanks heaps for your reply. Would you recommend any tour company?
@The Random Guys {LarY} Ha ha..
@The Random Guys {LarY} ya the evil kim jong un, who is in charge of literally everything in the DPRK and ruthlessly controls people's lives. Just as weve seen in all these videos. Oh wait... None of that's true and you're just a dipshit 🤷♂️
The North Koreans reportedly hate Americans, yet the show on the TV is an American actor, all in English language. Someone said it is a Bruce Lee movie? Is this true? I am not sure.
it is a bruce lee movie.. unless u dont know bruce lee
@@jonitan76 I know who Bruce Lee was, but I was so young when he was very popular, and I didn't see any of his movies. I'm impressed this was actually a movie of his! That is awesome!
@@blackberrybunny It's not one of his movies. it looks to be a TV special. I am surprised they have English language on the TV station.
North koreans dont hate Americans they only hate imperialist ones
@@jordynsimmons1107 From what I've watched on YT, ALL Americans are considered imperialists.
Poor and the sufferings are on the countryside and there is no country in the whole world who claims not to have any poor .
As tourists we get to see only one side
@WageSlaving2TheTop ! I think you meant to ask 'better'
China are VERY close to not having poor people, their poverty rate in 2018 was 1.7%
Ah ahhh ahh
I wish I had ten thousand subscribers
7:10 some poor Koreans in the schedule pretending as tourists in front of the cam
You all have clearly not done the slightest research on North Korea before going.
That or you have and you were just confirming everything for yourself
Probably they show only what they want you should see.But at least they are avoiding those gray, ugly, homogenous buildings typical of all old URSS citys.
@WageSlaving2TheTop ! Yes,indeed, tour guides show usually the more interesting places of any country. But if you want you can go without any guide where you want.I travelled to Iran five years ago and I was completely free to visit all I wanted, although Iran is a very policial controlled country. Here in Europe you can go wherever you want but tour guides help visitors to select the better to look at.
@WageSlaving2TheTop ! Security concerns indeed are legitimate not visitables.
@WageSlaving2TheTop ! Yes you are right.
@WageSlaving2TheTop ! the problem is upbringing. I have visited Southeast Asian countries and also South Korea and Japan... although they are westernized now they hold certain things very close to them and that is the reason they are shy most of the time sharing it which westerners can find not inviting. they come to India and dress in a small shirt or tank top and then they complain people stare at them. you are in a country with their own cultures and rituals and customs they will look at you if you go out dressed out in a certain way. like kissing in public in India not possible whereas in outside countries they just keep smooching and moving hands on the butts etc... so a lot of different things need to be looked at before making a viewpoint of any country.
so from now on everything about dprk is coming from sao : , and shes on kim jon un paylist.| straight from kim jon un ... so forget about true...and stay away. i wonder how much they pay her ?
You conspiracy theorists are delusional. Quit rambling.
