Then when another live comes out, you'll complain about everything to where they stop making love games.. lose lose situation. 2k knows they're top dog. Live doesn't have the animations right because of the frostbite engine but it was getting better every year. Nobody gave them a chance

Better looking graphics than 2k. Especially the foot-to-floor physics
Only downside is the passing animation, a player passes sidewards but the body is looking forward. So awkward.

The animation and movement is better than 2k except the players, they look so weird and thin

why the game moves so smooth, like the animation is way too cool, like the block, the tryna set screen
I know I think the same everytime i play. This is also me playing it on ps5 and i turn off all the icons because it makes the details of the movements pop more

Y’all forgot there are rights to acquire all what you are mentioning here. That’s why 2k can’t get Mike Breen’s voice or the NBA sound track at the beginning of the game. Etc
How did you update the rosters?
Manually one by one I’ll explain basically last game update is AD to Lakers and Russell Westbrook to Rockets. I then go to edit roster and 1 by 1 move them around while checking current rosters on nba website

The creators of Live left in 2009 and went over to 2k… ingnite is the new engineer company at ea Live is soooooo much better then 2k then just took a break I’m assuming waiting for the next gen consoles when it comes back 2k is a wrap but honestly 2k23 on Ps5 is verrryyyyy close to what Live was trying to do
I agree with everything you said and yes as much as i dislike 2K they definitely improved with things like footplanting, some weight momentum, court spacing. All the things they did horrible years ago that LIVE did great!

I custom update them myself. A lot of teams are missing too many players but I usually play with the teams that roster have a lot of players

Live has better graphics and character animation than Live... The gameplay tho is not the best... still have that sticky player defense lol... hope Live will also have a 3 on 3 arcade version

Title saids Live 23 rosters. The average person knows its NBA LIVE 19 since thats the latest console release but they enjoy seeing in 4K running on PS5 with custom rosters that try and reflect the current season. ESPN cam, minimum HUD while I play no shot meter, no indicator circle. Game looks beautiful and immersive this way
