So close to 1000 subscribers and it's well deserved. Thanks for all of your videos and thoughts on the cards that make this game great, and it's made even better when you talk about them.
i've played against rune-tail a number of times. Didn't do well at blocking flyers, but was very much a mono white pillow fort deck that was having trouble getting ramp and card advantage to close out the game. Just sat on the sidelines as the other players killed each other through combat. Love the cycles of legends from kamigawa!
Something to note for blind seer is generally you're running a lot of color word changing cards as well. (See Glammerdye for example) This makes douse, hibernation, really any color hoser in general, work really well. Obviously blind seer also helps out here as well, but the real fun is the color word changers.
Esior Wardwing Familiar + Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder My deck is built around commander damage as a win con, though it's not what you'd think: Bruse Tarl gives Esior Doublestrike and lifelink, and as a 1/1 it's not scary. However my deck centers around searching for Umezawa's Jitte, and using timing shenanigans, as well as other voltron staples. An example of a great starting hand: Mana Crypt, sol ring, Leyline of sanctity, sword of truth and justic, steelshaper's gift, and 2 lands that give you the colors you need. With this on turn 3 you win (So you bring out mana crypt and sol ring, which nets you 3 colorless, use that on SoTaJ, and the land for turn uses white to cast steelshapers to get umezawa's jitte. turn 2, use your mana to bring out Esior and attach your Jitte and SoTaj, attack, which gives esior two +1/1 counters and the jitte 3 charge counters. you've already done 3 commander damage turn 2. Esior is now a 5/7. next turn play Bruse, which gives Esior doublestrike. Spend all 3 charge counters, making Esior 11/13 between first and second instance of damage, you can choose to overkill and use the timing to make esior a 19/21 for the second damage instance, or just not BM. On turn 3 you can net a total of 33 commander damage unless my brain has stopped working)
Nyalia's intervention is another good card for activiting Sasaya's Essence since it's a x spell and has two modes you can choose one is it does x damage to each creature with flying and the other preferable mode is search for x land cards from your library and put them into your hand it's great for my Lord windgrace deck cuz it gets any amount of any lands from my deck but it's great for Sasaya to activate quickly cuz you can just put 7 or more mana and get 7 forest or how ever many you need
Thanks to you I'm now working on a sasaya orochi ascendant/sayasa's essence eldrazi deck thanks and I'm not even halfway done with the video that's how quickly that card peaked my interest
Yea umm update I removed the eldrazi part I kept maybe two of the titans but otherwise no eldrazi it's now token swarm that full combo makes all lands produce 11 or more mana not counting the commander and I have a card that creates x X/X slime tokens with token doublers out the frickin wazoo
Desecrated Tomb will only make 1 bat token, no matter how many creatures leave the graveyard at a time. With Shirei, they will all come back at once, and that's only one trigger for Desecrated Tomb die to the wording: "whenever one or more".
Gor Muldrak is an amusing fun commander. It would be an amusing semi group hug deck. Throw in an Amoeboid Changeling for additional redundant creature lockout.👍
One very similar commander to blind seer could be 8-and-a half tails for mono white it can make stuff white with one ability and then give out protection from white with another.
I built a Kelsien deck recently. The win con is beating people to death with Kelsien :P. Also recently added the RW and BW experience bois because it's free real estate. Best includes though are Acorn Catapult and Forbidden Orchard.
Your channel is fantastic! Right up there with Command Quarters. Although, you speak a bit more clearly than speed talking Mitch 😜 Thank you so much for this content, it keeps my interest going in MTG 😉
EACH upkeep. It triggers on the upkeeps of opponents too. 21:45 Don't play Felidar Sovereign unless your group is hard spike. 27:10 Same goes for Revel in Riches.
The combo with Serrated Scorpion does not work so hard. It deals only 6 dmg in a 4 player group and the most important you get only 2. Because the wording isn't you gain that much life
This is a year late, but for the sake of any new viewer to this video: what he said in the video was "in one turn cycle (ie: one full round of every player taking a turn), your opponents will have all lost 8 life (because sacrificing it on each of the 4 turns will proc the effect, and 4x2 = 8) and you'll have gained 8 life (again, 4 seperate turns making 4 instances of the effect will give you 4x2 = 8)." This is merely for clarification of what was said in the video. Felix is also correct in what he said. Each seperate instance of the effect will do a total of 6 damage (2 across each of your 3 opponents), and only heal you for 2. If you can get multiple triggers, i would say it is worth a slot in the 99.
Molten Primordial doesn't work in the Marchesa deck though? does it? I could be wrong in the interpretation but Marchesa says 'Whenever a creature you controls dies with a +1/+1 counter on it return that card to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step' Molten Primodial's ETB only works until end of turn and if it returns to tha battlefield with Marchesa's ability it comes at the end step right? is there even a use for that or nah?
I believe you're right! You get your creatures back at your end step with Marchesa and Molten Primordial let's you gain control of the opponent's creatures until end of turn.
Friend i'm sorry, i'm building a Marchesa edh deck. Can you please explain me the Hostage Taker combo again? english is not my mother tongue and i didn't understand it. Thank you!! Nice video!
Hostage Taker enters the battlefield and we can exile an artifact or creature. When we cast the artifact or creature we exiled, we can have Hostage Taker enter the battlefield again and not have to return the card we exiled because we already casted it. Hope that helps!
I feel weird watching this. I either already made decks with some of these commanders, or I set that particular commander to the side to make a deck later.
So close to 1000 subscribers and it's well deserved.

Thank you so much!! That is so kind of you.

That would make sense, white does struggle with card draw (hopefully more ways to draw cards will come in the future)

It is a really cool deck! Very different from what I have seen.
i played Angus as my commander and had colour change as the theme. it gets so werid

Goddamn Onslaught had such great tribal support!

I was really excited about building Sasaya, sadly it just became a slow combo deck. Still pretty fun but I was wishing for more.
Gor Muldrak is an amusing fun commander. It would be an amusing semi group hug deck. Throw in an Amoeboid Changeling for additional redundant creature lockout.👍
I tend to lean more towards group hug decks in general (I just love the group interaction and nobody swinging at me 🤣)
I suggested him in the last Video ^^ Glad to see him here.
Thank you for commenting! It means a lot 😁
Herald of Secret Streams is a must in the Marchesa deck for sure
Absolutely! Making your creatures unblockable, then you can later sac them - perfection.
Marchesa is a very potent Commander, super fun to play too.
One very similar commander to blind seer could be 8-and-a half tails for mono white it can make stuff white with one ability and then give out protection from white with another.
dude, You've got Amazing ideas, great job!
Ertai is 100% going on my build list

That is so cool! I haven't actually played against a Kelsien deck so I wasn't sure how others would build it.
Your channel is fantastic! Right up there with Command Quarters. Although, you speak a bit more clearly than speed talking Mitch 😜 Thank you so much for this content, it keeps my interest going in MTG 😉
You are so kind. Thank you😁
Emrakul in a volrath deck would be crazy
EACH upkeep. It triggers on the upkeeps of opponents too.

27:10 Same goes for Revel in Riches.
Felidar Sovereign is not competitive at all.
Your videos just keep getting better and better, and I love it.
Thank you! I hope to keep it that way 😁

This video is sick, good job.
Thank you so much!!

@@triplemangothreat Oh yes, now i get it, thank you!!
Any redundant effects for Shizo? all it takes is one removal to screw your plans of recurring small creatures.
You are correct, once Shizo is removed you start struggling. I haven't found anything like Shizo so I can only recommend protection.
Desecrated tomb says "whenever one or more" so I'm assuming you will only get 1 bat.
Underrated channel fsh9
Thank you!
I'm sad you didn't mention menace with tangarth
Marchesa boardwipe tribal xD
Keep it up! : )

great bideo'
