There are many great restaurants and bars. Obviously, the city is alive in the summer. I've had unexpected fun at the "Little Bar" on the west end of the lake on a March day in 2022. The pizza was excellent and a beautiful and engaging crowed gathered. There's the Abbey Resort with area restaurant bars like Gordy's Surf Shack and Chuck's Lakeshore Inn. Champs Sports Bar, patio is a great place to meet someone and enjoy the night air in the patio. Hogs and Kisses, is a great place to dance in downtown L. Geneva. The Bottle Shop has incredible atmosphere inside and out , live music and a wonderful staff on West Main St. Magpies was just remodeled and beautiful with a lot of trees and on a small stream. When I am out I often meet visitors from Chicago, Milwaukee and surrounding cities who know it's a great place to visit. The city website will tell you about the festivals etc. Good Luck.
