Lmao so true. But this is gonna be too expensive to rebuild a front collision. And it's a 720 not a basic mclaren. And the frame is supper out of alignment

To me it looks like he hit the brakes hard, the front nose dove and went under the Range Rover and the rovers tire centered in the middle of the 720S and took everything out!!
Rented this car for a few days when I was in Vegas this summer, she was an absolute BEAST and super clean spec! Rip :(

@@Kyntheria you can get 720 tubs for relatively cheap (compared to buying another 720s) and the rest is just wiring and cosmetics
@peik_haikyuu2265 that's actually interesting. I found a 720S tub for $40,000 USD. It could be repaired, although probably over $100,000. The hood is $10,000, headlights $4,000, and bumper $10,000 and whatever else. Anyways, thanks for letting me know.

This is exactly what I thought as well at first glance.
had to be telephone or street pole, cuz hydrant/ barriers are too low for the hood & frunk tub to be gone [especially when the sides of the front sub frame are relatively unlike the center just being gone].. time to have insurance write that off with the costs of all new parts -- and use the payout to go spec a 750s .. perfect timing to give the next customer extra 30hp

That fender/door gap is only off about a half inch from what McLaren allows from factory anyway! 😅 Shouldn’t be too hard to fix!🤷🏼♂️

that is totaled twice over id imagine. the other vehicles dont seem to have damage that dont equal these. it a possibilty that a big part of it could have happen after an inpact like it ricocheted andhit curbs something dead center. the driver side panel look like the shifted about 3 inchs rear. do the tubs twist out of shape or just break. as in the tub shape contorting because the outer connection point pull or pull as the crumple and bend. i just didnt know if it just shears off or cracks becuase it is so rigid and it can not flex? youve seen enough mashed up mac's im sure you know them well. i miss the orange leather black 1000hp amg!!! cheers

Was just watching Matt’s video and they say sometimes people press the frunk button instead of the suspension button on your left and if they do press the wrong button it’s chaos so in my opinion they accidentally press the frunk button while driving and the hood pop open and cause him to hit the Range Rover and damage the front

Pretty sure it went under the rover. That would make sense for that damage. And also why you didn't see it on the rover cuz what happened to that 720 was from under the rover.

The 720s hit the back of the Rangerover and the front of the 720s went under the back of the Rangerover up to the windshield in 45¤ angle.

I suggest if the Range Rover is damaged and that is quite a high vehicle. Probably went underneath it which would explain the damage higher up on the frame and the missing bonnet (hood)
Looks like it went under the Range Rover. Hitch on the Rmage probably peeled all the top of the frame/ hood etc..

Seems it went under the rover and something like a hitch or frame from the rover ripped the hood and everything off.
You do know someone that needs rear quarter panels and yours appear to be in decent shape.

I was watching matt from the uk the other day...dude at McLaren said to matt ppl hit the hood button all the time cause its by the steering wheel and it makes the hood go flying open and getting them ripped off...dude said its vary common... 🤔 Lol

Sounds crazy but mclaren Had a problem with the 720s where the hood open butten was next to the wheel and people was accidentally pressing it and the hood was opening maybe he pressed it and hood flew open his the window and he crashed and mite explane where it went

why no dash cam fitted? for your own protection.
Cars are designed to do ecactly what this car has done, absorb the collision impact, keeping the occupants safe. Cars are designed with crumple points. The bonnet would easily tear off, as would the bar lights and gaurds etc. Ask the driver, and I would expect him to say, from inside the car, the impact didnt feel bad. Car designers have done there job as has the car.
I feel like the Mclaren hit the Rover from the back and the backend of the rover "'bit off" the front end. Probably if the driver hit the brakes to wedge the nose under the backend of the rover which would explain the top of the frame rails being fked. Just an idea

Looks like it hit a pole or concrete barrier or something... you can't have the middle of a car missing like that without a small solid object causing it. There's enough crash videos out there where people hit the barrier straight on and it's the exact same damage

looks like the 720 drove under the range rover and ripped the front end off when the truck slid off at an angle
looks like something fell ontop of it. Like maybe a truck transport dropped the range rover on it lol
I would check the data and see how fast it was going just prior to the crash as it's possible the Front truck hood wasn't secure and flipped up at high speed and the driver lost control with the hood blocking their view and posible got ripped off from the amount of air pressure and then crashed into the SUV
