Glad to hear that my sound tests helped change your mind! Innovative designs can really challenge the norm in our hobby, and sometimes they provide exceptional performance. Happy listening!
Your enthusiasm for this product makes me want to try it out myself! I love that detail retrieval is a priority for us audiophiles. Who knew shape could play such a huge role?
I'm thrilled to hear that my excitement about the E-PROTOTYPE resonates with you! It really is fascinating how the design can impact the sound quality. The detail retrieval is definitely impressive; I can't wait for you to experience it!
Listened to my entire music library with these Flare IEMs - blown away by the detail! Especially noticeable on acoustic tracks, feels like I'm hearing every note for the first time.
That’s awesome to hear! Acoustic tracks can really showcase the true capabilities of great IEMs, and it sounds like the Flare E-PROTOTYPE really delivered for you. It’s such a rewarding experience to rediscover your library with a new set of ears!
Right? I was intrigued by that feature too. Innovative technology like Mirror Image Sound™ can really push the boundaries of what we expect from audio products.
I love hearing that! 3D printing is definitely a game-changer in the custom audio space, and I’m excited to see how it evolves. It’s always fun to explore new ideas!
I just revisited your video and watched it for the second time now that I own the e-prototypes. And I have to agree with everything that you said, especially the love them or hate them part. For myself, I found out that they are not my kind of tuning. Sometimes I feel that the base becomes so much that you lose some details and that for me gets fatiguing to listen to. However, that could be just myself. So that being said, I had to return them and will be looking for something else that is maybe a little warmer and with more detail. Thank you for the review on this one and the other ones that you spent the time to make!
I'm extremely glad I could help that much. If you're looking for something with more detail, and warmth, you can perhaps watch my videos about the EM6L & Orchestra Lite - they should suit you better!
Thanks for tuning in! 3D printing really revolutionizes production processes, allowing for such intricate designs and rapid prototyping. I love exploring its potential!
Before i buy a new IEM i make sure i research a lot knowing the Pros and Cons of each IEM in my list before making a move on buying it. you guys helps a lot of people with your reviews and you explain to the viewers what they should get.
That’s such a smart approach! Doing thorough research can save you from a lot of regret. I’m really glad to hear that our reviews are helpful in your decision-making process. It’s all about finding the right fit for your preferences!
I’m so glad you found them comfortable! It’s amazing how finding the right fit can totally transform the listening experience. Once you find something that works, it’s like opening a whole new world of sound without the distraction of discomfort.
Right? They definitely make a statement! It’s fun when something stands out both in looks and performance. Glad you love the design as much as the function!
Great suggestion! I’ll definitely consider doing a durability test to see how the E-PROTOTYPE holds up. I’m curious too, as everyday wear and tear can really affect headphones in the long run. Stay tuned!
At first glance, I wasn’t sold on the weird shape, but your review makes me reconsider. I think it’s important to focus on how unique designs can impact our listening experience.
I totally get where you're coming from! The unique shape definitely raised eyebrows, but it’s all about breaking the mold to enhance our listening experience. I'm glad the review helped shift your perspective!
It's super interesting, right? Their engineering team has a unique approach to managing distortion, focusing heavily on harmonics. I’m looking forward to delving deeper into that in future discussions!
I hear you! The search for that perfect balance can definitely be tricky. It’s all about finding what works for your music preferences. I appreciate the feedback, though! Sound tuning is always a work in progress.
The design looks unconventional, but I’m intrigued by how it affects sound quality. Your description of the detail it brings out has definitely piqued my interest.
I get where you’re coming from regarding the fixed cable. Flexibility is something many users look for at that price point. It’s definitely a balancing act between design and practicality, but I think the sound quality might just justify the trade-off for some.
They do have a unique design! Competing with other metal IEMs will depend on user preference, but I’m excited to see how they hold up against the competition in terms of sound quality. I’ll definitely be exploring that further!

You bet!
I love that they offer a 100-day return window! Shows confidence in their product!
Yup, that's a nice touch
I admit I was hesitant about the shape, but your sound tests sold me. It’s refreshing to see innovative designs push Audiophile standards.

Absolutely! Their focus on durability shows how much they care about delivering quality. It just enhances the whole listening experience!

I appreciate the honest critique about the mids and timbre. Transparency is key!
Thanks for noticing! Transparency is so important in audio. I’m glad you appreciated that aspect of the review!
This video was a great mix of aesthetic critique and sound test. It’s good to see how sometimes form can lead to function in unexpected ways.
Thank you!
This video really opened my eyes to how ear shape affects sound! Incredible research.
It's amazing how our anatomy can play a huge role in audio experience! I'm glad the research resonated with you.
You may not be the most famous audio reviewer but you are my favorite reviewer!! More power to you, The Audio Stuff!
Thank you so much! It means the world to me to know that I'm your favorite. I'll keep bringing the best content I can!
Man. I feel even worse that I missed out on the Flare Audio Flare EARS crowdfunding project. Essentially, the evolution of the E-Proto line.
Ahh, I missed that too! You can still get the product though, so not everything is lost ;)
That carrying case sounds really sturdy! Perfect for traveling with audio gear.
Thanks! The carrying case is really designed to keep things safe while on the go. It’s great for anyone serious about their audio gear.
Mirror Image Sound™ Technology? Now that's a cool feature! Sounds innovative.
Right? I was intrigued by that feature too. Innovative technology like Mirror Image Sound™ can really push the boundaries of what we expect from audio products.
I was skeptical about 3D-printed earbuds, but you’ve convinced me to give them a chance!

I’m excited to see how those unique shapes translate into sound quality!
I can’t wait for you to hear how those shapes influence the overall sound. It's a blend of art and science!
I’ve never heard IEMs described like that before, ur very special haha
Haha, thank you! I try to bring a different perspective on audio gear. Glad you found it entertaining!
Your reviews are always so thorough! Keep up the great work; they're super helpful!
Thanks, will do!
Can't wait to hear how these sound. The proprietary tech sounds promising!
You're going to love it! The proprietary tech is designed to elevate the sound clarity and detail-truly exciting stuff!
The bass sounds incredible! Definitely leaning towards trying these out.
You should!

Stands out from the crowd for sure haha
Right? They definitely make a statement! It’s fun when something stands out both in looks and performance. Glad you love the design as much as the function!
Would love to see a durability test on these. How well do they hold up to everyday wear and tear?
Great suggestion! I’ll definitely consider doing a durability test to see how the E-PROTOTYPE holds up. I’m curious too, as everyday wear and tear can really affect headphones in the long run. Stay tuned!
Very nice video. Well done and very organized. Thank you.
I really appreciate your kind words! I strive to keep things organized and informative. Glad you found it helpful!
Your uploads is really awesome my guy
Glad you think so!
Can't wait to hear about the sound quality! Bass-heavy like some Flare products, or more balanced?
Its tuning is not really balanced
Holy consistency
That's my thing!
Interested to see how these compare to other single driver IEMs on the market
These are too unique to compare them to most other dingle DD IEMs in my opinion
Very impressive sound design!
Agreed!
Definitely a niche product, but for those looking for something different, the E-Prototype could be a winner!
It's definitely something different than most other IEMs
Great sound quality for the price
Thanks! I was really impressed with the sound quality too, especially considering the price. It’s amazing what you can get nowadays!
3D printing opens doors for interesting designs. Hopefully Flare uses this tech to create more innovative earphones in the future.
They already made open back IEMs, I'd love to see how they move things forward.
I love your reviews, subscribed for more
More to come!
Do the ear tips fit all ear shapes? I’d love to know more about comfort!
The ear tips come in various sizes, so they should fit different ear shapes pretty well. Your comfort means everything to us!
20% less distortion sounds impressive! Measurements to back it up would be great though.
Didn't find any official measurements unluckily
Another amazing Video
Thanks! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video. I appreciate your continued support!
How do they control distortion with that unusual shape? Sounds like innovative engineering.
It's super interesting, right? Their engineering team has a unique approach to managing distortion, focusing heavily on harmonics. I’m looking forward to delving deeper into that in future discussions!
Not sure about the price, but the tech and design have me intrigued. Will definitely keep an eye on these.
Maybe the price is going to come down at some point, it's a prototype after all.
More mids please! While the sound is clear, I felt the bass was a bit lacking for some genres.
I hear you! The search for that perfect balance can definitely be tricky. It’s all about finding what works for your music preferences. I appreciate the feedback, though! Sound tuning is always a work in progress.
This might be a hard sell for audiophiles used to a certain aesthetic. But for the curious listener, this is cool!
It sure is!
subbed to your channel, and liked this video
Thank you for subscribing and liking the video! Your support means everything to me as I continue this journey.
These look like something out of a sci-fi movie! Aesthetics aside, are they actually good for listening to music?
That's what they're made for! + studio monitoring
The design looks unconventional, but I’m intrigued by how it affects sound quality. Your description of the detail it brings out has definitely piqued my interest.
Good point!
The comfort level sounds subjective. It’ll be interesting to see if they work for my ears.
I totally get that! Ear comfort can vary from person to person, and I'll be curious to hear your thoughts once you try them out.
They might be brilliant but fixed cable? Major failure at that price point.
I get where you’re coming from regarding the fixed cable. Flexibility is something many users look for at that price point. It’s definitely a balancing act between design and practicality, but I think the sound quality might just justify the trade-off for some.
They've got an interesting design, but can they compete with other metal IEMs?
They do have a unique design! Competing with other metal IEMs will depend on user preference, but I’m excited to see how they hold up against the competition in terms of sound quality. I’ll definitely be exploring that further!
