Thank you, I'm glad to try this.. it's really relaxing :) Today is my third day trying 😊 Will this help with poor posture such as forward head tilt?

You're very welcome-I'm so glad you gave this a try! (And, yes, this is definitely best done repeatedly, every day, to enjoy maximum benefits.) As for helping to improve forward head posture-also, yes. When we have practice(!) experiencing (physically) where our head and neck 'should' be in relationship to one another it helps us to better remember this when we are upright and moving around throughout our day in different activities. I'd be happy to address any more specific questions you have about the head forward position-is there any area/thing that you struggle with the most with regard to this? I'd love for you to share more about what you're experiencing and hoping to improve.

@@MorganRysdonCenterStudio thanks again for the work you do! And I love your ink imagery (I'm a drawing artist and know well the wonder of ink in water...).

Does this help release the iliacus as well as psoas major. So the entire iliopsoas muscle. Thanks. And... Your voice is very soothing. Thanks

@@spl5227 So sorry I didn't see your comment until now! Yes, in my experience, the Alexander Technique helps with releasing all kinds of muscles (which would include the iliopsoas muscle). The idea is that the more you do "constructive rest" (or the activity of lying down without distraction, focusing your attention with consciousness + attentiveness to your body) the more your body will get familiar and used to being in a calmer and more relaxed state. I hope this is becoming the case for you! And thank you for the kind compliment regarding my voice-I'm glad you find it soothing as I'm sure that can only help give you a better overall experience of this exercise :)
