We Moroccans (idk abt everyone) in my whole family we celebrate this. We'll dress up like a princess with a crown like that and we celebrate it proudly!🌸
She is from Kerala I guess! But in Tamilnadu, we conduct a big function like a marriage with lots and lots of gifts especially from maternal uncle! I love south Indian culture ❤❤ i am a north indian from uttar Pradesh and my dads schooling from 6th grade was in andaman and Nicobar island and college frim chennai so he can speak tamil telgu and bengali , but my father says that south india has the most beautiful culture and i agree , my dad has faced ragging too because he was not black but white in complexion but still he loves south indian culture and wants me to study in south india too . In north indian we hide periods and feel ashamed of it meanwhile you guys celebrate it proudly ❤❤ I just want to say that please dont hate us north indian i know that 90% of north indians criticize you guys because you are black and not very good in nature but guys like us the 10% of us loves you so dont ragg me when i come to south india 😂 ragg those 90% of people Love from Delhi ❤
dude,we are not dark I'm from tamilnadu Chennai, I am white , it's just portrayed that South Indians are black , many of them are in the range between black and white
Having their first period is not bad.And it also means that they are matured starting to become a girl to a women. But some. girls have a thought that having periods is such a disaster but it not.Just like mens get their moustache girls have periods. So they need to celebrate it.And if yoh didn't like this puberty ceremony just Stop giving people negativity.
I had this for mine as well. And it's not as good as it seems, you still have to be secretive about periods around men after our first period. I wish India could just normalize periods.
Yes it is sad actually, earlier it was 15 to 16, then 12 to 15, now it is 9 to 12. For small children to manage hygiene and pain and school , sports etc is very difficult. 13 to 15 was still ok age.
Yeah ... actually in Tamil Nadu puberty functions are celebrated actually like marriage by inviting a lot of people and arranging a different place (marriage halls too)... Nowadays when the girl hit puberty they immediately do these rituals in home then later aarange halls and conduct it as a proper function
I’m glad this isn’t something my culture does (NOT FOR THE REASONS YOU MAY THINK) because my family is already really awkward about this stuff and this would make it one hundred times worse but I’m sure if I had the same culture you do it would be different but I wish this was something my culture did. I wish but with my family specifically I’m glad we don’t (I’m so so so sorry if this offended anyone in any way please remember that this is nothing against this culture)

Not to ruin the mood, but i hate this types ceremony because they pretend like its a very big deal And because they do that most girls dont realize its normal because they act like its not normal and this is where all the restrictions bullshit starts. Most of the girls dont even know what is a period before or even after they get it. Instead of teaching them about whats happening to them, they act like they achieved something. Some people are gonna say "Thats not the intention" but even if it isnt, this ceremonies lead to this kind of understanding. Personally, I WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO MY DAUGHTER. Edit: Btw Why was she sitting on the floor?
@@hariprasath5583 i am from tamilnadu ( born and raised ) and i was born somewhere after 2005. my parents did not teach me anything. and the parents of my friends didnt too. and it is conducted like they have achived something, lots of restrictions ( i wasnt restricted that much they just didnt let me leave the house, but my friends were restricted so much) so i dont know which tamil nadu you are from😂
