nemlol so far, I haven’t seen any Jeep Trackhawk “on flames” so I don’t know what you’re talking about. Are you mistaking it with the Viper.. Also don’t think I hate The GLE/GLC. it’s just that...why? Why make the head room horrible in a family car? And yes you did beat me in roast battle with the Trackhawk and the GLE/GLC cuz now I don’t have any response ;-;
Benz interiors would literally always be perfect if it wasn't for the ugly infotainment screen. Looks like a cheap tablet and the bezels are massive. (excludes the S-Class)
Taylor Reynolds they do tend to be very convenient if you have families or are out with your friends a lot. Never owned one. Driven a couple of my friends but I just like cars. Like actually cars.
I wonder if Acura wishes they never pulled out of this segment after looking at how successful BMW and Merc' crossover coupes are. They had something with the ZDX. All it needed was a mid model refresh to fix the design issues and it would've been sitting up top of the crossover podium with the MDX.
I see one everyday, the neighbour has one.The guy next door to him has a Prius & a ironically (I kid you not) the lady next to the Prius has a Pontiac Aztec. I’m so happy I live on the opposite side of the street.
Yeah, we sat in one and it was interesting, just not quite what we needed at the time. By now with some power improvements it could be a more reliable version of the Merc and BMW offerings in the class.
I really like how you compared it with other competitors and also the regular GLC. I also like how you gave a break down on the pricing. I’ve been contemplating if I should get the GLC43 or the GLC43 Coupe. But yes I would totally agree a C43 sedan would be a great vehicle however not much room for a growing family such as mine! Awesome review again!
Great review! If I could point out a few areas of opportunity I have noticed, I feel like you could benefit from a slightly longer pause in a few parts of the video. Example 1: @0:16 When you finish establishing an opening question and then say "that's what we're here to find out", It feels like a run on sentence. Let the viewer have some time to absorb the question and give us a longer pause in between. Otherwise it feels a bit rushed. Example 2: @11:29 It feels very unexpected and abrupt when you go from listing specs to going for a test drive. You should pause a little right before saying that you're gonna "get on the road". Other than that, your video content is really solid and comprehensive in covering all aspects of the car. Keep it up!
Hi! I did this on my old Range, loved how quick and inexpensive this little mod was. Just to confirm, you did this on a new GLC43? Did you ever get any check engine lights after doing so? Thanks!
It was a little weird that instead of looking out the front windshield when you accelerated, we saw the front console? I want to see how you compare this to the X4 M40i
Your car is beautiful. Although the site does not have the conditions to introduce the car, but I love to introduce the car so the site will introduce the car presentation. Love your channel ^.^
I just don't understand coupe UVs; they have less room, they're uglier, you remove a part of the roof and somehow they get heavier, and they're way more expensive?
banstaman they are trying to be like a coupe with the sloping roofline but you kinda get the functionality of a compact SUV with the powered tailgate and cargo space
"the stupid sloping roof" lol. u mentioned the mpg of 18-24, however it's listed to be 9L/100kms .. which translates to a much better mpg. what's correct?
You do a fantastic job on reviews. One comment about the car. The chrome strip above the right tail light does not line up straight. I know I'm being picky but there is no way that is acceptable on a $60,000 Mercedes Benz.
I feel like he has a love/hate relationship with this car. I have to agree, it looks horrible, but people like them. I see the bigger version of this, the GLE Coupe, often on the road.
GLC with 63 exterior is the most good looking midsize SUV imo. If reliability was not a problem and I would not be a broke ass it would be my ultimate car (maybe with a new infotainment system). Drives like a sedan and it is capable of offroad.
This isn't really an "AMG" product it's just branded as one tbh I think by doing that dilutes the AMG brand making it less prestige. Btw that key is 15 years old
I was wondering about the key as well. My 2008 C300 had the exact same one. I don't understand why they didn't change it considering it was designed to be placed into a key housing to start the engine.
Mercedes considers a coupe to be the version of its vehicle that has less cargo/ truck space and a lower ceiling in the back. The current GLC 300s have a coupe version. You don’t get the panoramic roof with the coupe version.
Cross over are small but big enough to fit ppl comfortable. Ppl like to enter a car with no discomfort so it's perfect between a sedan and an suv. I drove the jeep Cherokee and understood why ppl like crossovers now. But I'm more a sedan or coupe guy
Hi, GREAT review as always but I do have a dumb question. This is a coupe, don’t “coupe” mean 2 doors? Keep up your great and very informative and entertaining videos.
You're technically right about that. Mercedes and BMW have begun calling their sleeker cars "coupes" for some reason. Check out the BMW 6-series gran coupe for another example, or the Merc CLS class. I think its kind of dumb but whatever. Marketing is marketing.
They try to make 4 door notchbacks sound more luxe by calling them coupes. Just like how every German station wagon isn't actually called a station wagon but something else.
Odd comment about the key. I've had amg's with that key, and they came with a tin with an alternative key back, so you could choose if the key had the amg logo or not. I trust it's the same with this one.
Any updates on testing out the new crossover from Alfa Romeo? Honestly I really think it's a CX-5 underneath for an extra $12,000 if so could you expose it's comparisons? Would you recommend possibly the GLC model over its competitors?
This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about I have a glc43 amg and it’s signed by the man who assembled the engine and the comfort mode exhaust sounds amazing and don’t get me started on the the sport and sport+ modes where the valves are open releasing an even more amazing sound with crackles
I actually loved the look of the original GLK, though it drove like garbage and the build quality was poor. But I also immensely enjoy the styling of the G-Class.
Seat Heating + Cooling = If your completely wet from a rain shower and it's cold outside, you turn on both and your dry in a few minutes ;) That's why it is for
The Regular hatch version- the GLC 43 is much better looking and more practical. Almost bought one-so close, but ended up ordering a 2018 Golf R for now...
Lavonte A id say the vast majority of Benz’ on the road are V6s. The E class had a 6 cylinder base until 2016, most C’s were V6s until 2013, etc. Every car they made could come with a V6 besides the S, G wagon, SL, CL, and GL.
Call me crazy but I think the GLC And GLE coupes are gorgeous
Chris McManus you know what’s more beautiful?
You hitting your head on the roof inside the rear of the GLE and a Trackhawk passing you comfortably
@@nanoii7918 is that before or after it catches fire and Jeep tries to stiff you on the warranty?

Really starting to get into mercedes lately. They're making some beautiful cars!

Raunchy duh, of course !!

Don Boss who else is better to smoke weed with ?
Don Boss well seeing as it's legal in both Oregon and California, why not.
$75k loaded up? Skip the options and get the 63.
Your reviews are always "top notch"
Im loving these German car reviews!!!!
Never heard of a 4 door or technically 5 door car or "crossover' being called a coupe....This car sounds amazing
It's funny how hard you tried to avoid the guy and yet once you turn on back up camera he's right there!
lol that was annoying
That Mercedes symbol is literally bigger than his head, Jesus lol.
Best review in UA-cam if I'm being honest
Looks good. Sometimes Sofyan complains too much.
Benz interiors would literally always be perfect if it wasn't for the ugly infotainment screen. Looks like a cheap tablet and the bezels are massive.
(excludes the S-Class)
Yes. Looks like a complete afterthought. «Hey, let's slap a 1st gen iPad there, but make sure it's not an actual touchscreen». Lame.
Great review, never boring, continue your good work
I just hope these performance crossovers don't replace performance sedans/hatchbacks.
Anne Ramsey broke ass
A A how so ?
A A 😂
Joshua Johnson I would rather have a performance crossover. I’ve only owned crossovers I love them!
Taylor Reynolds they do tend to be very convenient if you have families or are out with your friends a lot. Never owned one. Driven a couple of my friends but I just like cars. Like actually cars.
Your presenting is so fluid and warm man, doing a great job thank you! 👍🏾
Why does this guy always hate on sport coupes? Some people really like it.
That amg in sport mode is awesome. Love the way it took off in the video.
I wonder if Acura wishes they never pulled out of this segment after looking at how successful BMW and Merc' crossover coupes are. They had something with the ZDX. I agree... Very rarely see any Zdx's on the road
Racer Lex lol saw one today !

Nothing can refresh the fact that it’s a Honda
Awesome review!
Really the only way this hurts cargo capacity is if you stack stuff to the roofline in the back, which you usually do not. For a couple it's fine.
I really like how you compared it with other competitors and also the regular GLC. I also like how you gave a break down on the pricing. I really like this GLC!
I agree with you about the shape of that coupe

Like that blue color!
Now please do the c43!!
The best AMG mode is Race mode not Sport +. Once you try race mode, you never go back. Louder, more pops, only shift at redline automatically.
It needs the AMG Performance Exhaust...day and night.
Frederick Hwang I didn’t have my performance exhaust but race mode changed all that making it louder... I deleted one of the resonators as well
I see, a resonator delete would do the trick, haha. I have the sedan and the AMG PE...WOW! Gives the car a soul!
Hi! I did this on my old Range, loved how quick and inexpensive this little mod was. Just to confirm, you did this on a new GLC43? Did you ever get any check engine lights after doing so? Thanks!
Love the pops from our 18 in this mode. Pales in comparison to my Panamera in Sport + mode though-as far as pops go I mean.
Hmm, so I saw this video on the related video on the side of another video. But it isn't showing up on my subscription feed.
Can you start putting the as tested price in the video description?
It was a little weird that instead of looking out the front windshield when you accelerated, we saw the front console? I want to see how you compare this to the X4 M40i
This fake exhaust trend needs to stop. The SQ5 is atrocious.
Your car is beautiful. Although the site does not have the conditions to introduce the car, but I love to introduce the car so the site will introduce the car presentation. Love your channel ^.^
Also can you test drive Maserati Levante(although not in this class) and provide your comments on that Vehicle? Thanks
nice car and cool that you have a camera man now! Business is picking up!
The ultimate sugar daddy car.
Would also prefer a C43. I have a large dog, therefore I need a GLC43. Also considering GLA45 AMG. Thoughts?
nice review.
Is that a stalker sneaking up behind Sofyan at the 05:29 videomark....lol?
Don't you want the shift paddles on the wheel instead of the column, for easier in corner shifting?
It looks like a very large vehicle. But it's hard to tell your a small guy.
Why is everyone here in Portland for all these press releases?? And no fan/sub meet ups :(
This is the GLC 43, what about the GLE 43? What is the difference between those 2?
I see that SQ5 in the background 2:25
The chrome above the tail lights reminded me of the Buick verano
What is the difference between the GLE and the GLC?
I just don't understand coupe UVs; they have less room, they're uglier, you remove a part of the roof and somehow they get heavier, and they're way more expensive?
banstaman they are trying to be like a coupe with the sloping roofline but you kinda get the functionality of a compact SUV with the powered tailgate and cargo space
That’s beautiful
This entire test was done in comfort mode. And it doesn't sound like the car was warmed up before he tried to demonstrate the sound
the bezels on the new mercedes screens are huge they’ve always been big. fill the screen and make it touch screen
I'm confused, why do companies say that there is a coupe right in front when there is 4 doors right there? isn't a coupe a 2 door
Why do car enthusiasts give the BMW x6 credit for the rear sloped deign, when it was the Acura ZED or Toyota Venza that started the style trend????
"the stupid sloping roof" lol. u mentioned the mpg of 18-24, however it's listed to be 9L/100kms .. which translates to a much better mpg. what's correct?

Oh I get what Mercedes is doing. They have an S model so they might make an R model too.
DJ IQS they are beginning with the 2018 E class. The $200K AMG GTs still use the old key fobs...just FYI.
Mercedes is easily the best luxury brand and has the best performance models with AMG
zrp0602 I thought it would’ve been Rolls Royce or Bentley even. But hey I don’t know much anyways.

Mercedes considers a coupe to be the version of its vehicle that has less cargo/ truck space and a lower ceiling in the back. The current GLC 300s have a coupe version. You don’t get the panoramic roof with the coupe version.

I really hope these stupid sporty crossovers pretending to be coupes is just a fad that will go away soon.
Turning on both of the heat and ventilation is to provide more cooling, according to Mercedes.
