I've been riding on iron dragon most of my life so this is definitely an rest your stomach for a moment style of coster before you get on something more intense like magnum or steel vengeance
My Dad's favorite rollercoaster. He always said it reminded him of flying in a helicopter, especially the part after the second lift hill. A classic that cedar point hopefully never removes.
Hope Cedar Point will never remove The Iron Dragon. It's a perfect family Rollercoaster, and I still ride it on many visits. I still don't know the reason for that funky looking steel bar on the lead cars of the Trains. They were added several years later and it's ugly.
@@JavaCake S&S World Wide is the official Parts Store for Arrow Dynamics Rollercoasters. It's going to be at Cedar Point for many years to come. You have to remember also, the Cedar Creek Mine Ride is The Oldest Operating Arrow Rollercoaster. No one ever talks about it's at the end of service life, premiering in 1969.
What a great ride. I drive from Baltimore to Canton to Sandusky in order to find the brother of the BIG Bad Wolf. And hearing those lift hills, and breaks, it was like 'hello old friend." Although Loch Ness Monster was my first big coaster, or not a children's coaster, I loved BBW, While I like BBW more, it's gone, so now Iron Dragon has become one of my favorites. I hope this park realizes how special and great this hand crafted. Pre cpu computers are. They are so wonderful. Thanks CP. Please take care of the former Paramount park Kings Dominion. I was sad to see the Re naming of the Rebel Yell, but still love Anaconda, Grizzley Bear, Fight of Fear, Avalanche, and hope to get see that new dale ernheart ride. Thanks again. They should buy the floor less suspended trains like that park in japan did. It isnt rough at all and should last for years. By giving it trains like standard inverts it would greatly improve the ride experience. Or they could have a company make trains you lay face down and turn it into a flying coaster. Having a flying coaster that swings would be tons of fun. As a flying coaster I believe it would be the most popular family coaster in the park. If they really wanted to push the experience even further they could replace the 2 lifts with launch tracks, nothing too fast just to make the person feel like they are flying. Could probably use tire drives for it.
as someone deathly afraid of roller coasters, this is the only roller coaster ive been on, like ever, this horrified me and i never wanna go on one again
This was my favorite when i was 12, about a year before i became coaster crazy. It's still super fun for anyone though. You really need to see the car as is goes through the track to get the full effect. This pov makes it look tamer than it is.
@@masoncarlile125he’s talking about it was a better ride when you had the option of letting your feet hang in the air now it’s not possible because the seating is different

Any Updates On Aquaman Power Wave And Mr Freeze At Six Flags Over Texas
Iron Dragon, one of a few rides you can go on and see what's up with Dragster!
I heard Aquaman is actually testing now.

I Did Ride It In 2019

I love riding on all of the roller-coasters!
Was my favorite growing up and now it's my daughters !!! Still a great coaster

I mean, eventually they’ll run out of parts since arrow went defunct 2 decades ago, but I think it has some time.

I think it's for people to grab when getting out of the seat.
My MIL just got back from CP a little while ago and said that they’re removing Iron Dragon and Corkscrew this fall. Sad to see them go.
@@emmadavis7296What? Nooo 😢
I've ridden this before but it was the only coaster I ridden when I went to Cedar Point in 2019.
Aw man. Sure this coaster is fun but there's definitely more fun coasters there, I hope you have more experiences next time! I love the iron dragon.
@@yummywater77 Thanks Dude.

Looks fun! Really enjoyed your video!
BEST RIDE EVER
FR
Just a pure Fun coaster
Best starter coaster
I am here to acknowledge the true king of the park ☝
Bro when I first rode this I was near the back so I was not expecting that drop at the beginning😂
Cedar point fun good people have many
All you need is one person to make your ride even better
My buddy mason laughed the entire ride
And it cracked me up💀
You're welcome...
Looks like a good beginner suspension coaster.
It is.
1:36 not in the restricted area in the fence, but still risky being under the ride basically. Someone’s phone could fall out and hit him still

Why do i remember this ride having a loop?
as someone deathly afraid of roller coasters, this is the only roller coaster ive been on, like ever, this horrified me and i never wanna go on one again
This is a ride
1:37 Random guy sitting on a chair playing Sudoku.
This roller coaster has 2 lifts and it is very fast and it is waterproof
Big Bad Wolf vibes
I only ride this in the front row
is this one for old folks and kiddies? very tame ride.

This ride wasn't tame by 1987 standards, but yes, it's best for people who don't like the mega coasters.
@@afridgetoofar1818 still was pretty tame if you look at the other rides out there at that time
Has it ever occurred to you that some folks simply don’t like insanely intense coasters.
@@Johnwicklover1994 has it ever occurred to you that I'm one of the old folks that don't like the intense rides?
When I rode on the Iron Dragon, it felt like I was riding a dragon
Isn't filming on the ride explicitly against the rules?
if it’s safely harnessed, then i don’t think so
Why's this remind me of "NINJA" at six flags magic mouth?
woo
Not me who thew up on my friend ( it was kinda like spit ) hated it
That high pitched scream was so over exaggerated
It's slow, needs to be at 50 mph....BIG BAD WOLF status then.
It was better when your feet dangled. Now it's all enclosed. Was way better back in the 90s.
Are you high? What are you even talking about...?

WITH THIS COASTER.
Its a family coaster
It's one of their oldest coasters, a classic brand of coaster that many parks don't have anymore, and it's a fun family ride for everyone.
why are u screaming
Dummy, this coaster is well over 30 years old. This was built back before the era of mega coasters. Do you complain about the merry-go-round as well?
THIS IS AN AMUSEMENT PARK THERE WILL STILL BE KIDDIE AND FAMILY COASTERS
Ir looks weak for a coaster
Yeah, compared to other Arrow Suspended Coasters like Vortex
It's an older coaster. It's weak, but still kinda fun.
Definitely one of the more fun family coasters I've rode, pretty smooth, and has decent speed for a family ride.
It’s Unique, Suspended, Smooth, with Wilderness/Water theming, 2 lift chains, 3 trains running, you can always walk on 3-5 minutes tops 🔥
