Just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! Finally, someone recommending books other than all YA contemporary or romance. I don't mind a few, but it's nice to see someone recommend stuff like Hunger and Brain on Fire. Question: is 'Hunger' triggering for ppl with EDs or pasts with EDs? Would really love to read it, but I'm weary. Thanks Julia!
Great video! I'm looking forward to this new series and I love that most of the books you talked about I haven't heard of before so I'll have to pick them up! ❤️
Such a great idea! ❤️ love getting to know you better through books! What someone loves to read says so much about them! I love how open and accepting you are, you are so kind ❤️
I'm putting Am I Normal Yet? on my wishlist! I've got The Infernal Devices books, I read the first 3 books in The Mortal Instruments series but just haven't felt like picking up book 4 yet. I plan to do that at some point, I just haven't really felt like it.
Gaia Steinbuch if you really want to read the infernal devices you can because it's on a different time and they're different characters but the ending of the infernal devices slowly collides with the plot of the last three books of the mortal instruments or you could just keep going the way you're reading them but personally I recommend reading The Infernal Devices before the last three books of The Mortal Instruments since they mention something's and characters from The Infernal Devices and if you've read them you just feel know the references the characters make but it's up to your choice hope this helped you in anyway
Great video, definitely keep doing these as long as they’re something you like doing. Bought the Kindle edition of Suicide after literally like 5 seconds of your synopsis 😂
Am I Normal Yet? is on my TBR, and I just bumped it to the top of the list! I read The Virgin Suicides and Hunger this past year (thanks to you :) ) and I really liked both of them a lot. I think Hunger is such an important book, it really makes you think about difficult and uncomfortable things and I have never read a book with that kind of perspective before.
More of these (or any of your) videos! I like them all :) I have only read one of those books, which was The Virgin Suicides and of course it was wonderful and life-changing. Have you got/read The Outsider yet? I have read almost half of it and I like it a lot.
The only one that I read on this list is Brain On Fire and I liked it!! I wanna read Hunger and The Virgin Suicide so bad!! Would love to see part 2 :)
I like this series idea... maybe some of the videos can be about underrated/lesser known books you love, books you like that everyone else doesn't, popular books worth the hype... Am I Normal Yet was one of my favourite books last year, and the strongest one in the trilogy in my opinion (and I thought I was going to identify with the MCs in books 2 and 3, however Evie's story seemed the most realistically portrayed).
What a smart idea! 💡 please do more of these queen!
I shall ♡
This was a great video. It’s wonderful to see a small group of books that you would recommend reading. Please do more like this 😊💜📖
YAS! more of this pls. I love The virgin suicides so so much.
I love the idea, because we can see you excited and happy talking about those books, we notice that you love them. You are so real❤️

I'm looking forward to the Brain on Fire movie! I adore Chloe Moretz
