- The 12th Annual Dhegiha Language Conference was held July 24-26, 2023, at the Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, Okla. The three-day conference is a gathering of the Osage, Ponca, Northern Ponca, Quapaw, Kaw, and Omaha tribes to protect and preserve the Dhegiha Language through training, education, publication, program development, curriculum development, outreach and social and cultural exchange activities.
