i really loved these games, ptitdrogo did a marvelous job, he understood his strengths and took good chances. if one wouldnt know the names of the players it would be easy to judge that the worse player took the game after cheese all ins. casters did a great job as well, good chemistry and pleasent to listen to. Only the youtube comments seem to be rather toxic... serral fans, balance whinners and caster haters. hoping for better times and fanbase.
serral is so good, i literally never played sc2 and never watched untill last year where he came out of nowhere, i just got him in suggested videos, watched and have been hooked watched all his games since then and hope he keeps winning!
@@이승준-r2w Sure but look at his games, he does this agenst everyone and every race. If you look at serral vs Future, you can also see why future wins the games he wins.
@@ra6865 You act as if he's the only one who does... Almost every pro sc2 player does it. 4 Zealots, 8 ling, a few vultures can destroy an entire mineral line and not make a huge difference in a large battle anyways. @@cosanostra4229 they "upgraded" its HP back to 300, which was what it originally was anyway. They cut its build time to match the BC's, but with the interceptor build time it still takes twice as long to have a fully functional carrier as it does to have a BC. There's really no upgrade to the Carrier as a unit. It's been nerfed.
Thats because his hydras haven't died yet. Once his ground army dies the broodlords and no energy infestors will follow. Pass that he had no money for a remax and the dt zealot drop took 1 of his bases out.
Can someone explain to me why the best zergs in the world don't upgrade adrenal glands a good portion of the time in long games (serral game 2 and 5)? You see them regularly upgrade from 2 spires even when they aren't going air and are making high numbers of zerglings. I see this in NA, EU, and Korea frequently enough that I find hard to believe the best players in the world are just forgetting the upgrade but I can't think of another reason.
A lot them use space to move around on alerts to start new upgrades so the tiered upgrades from spire and evos are easy for them but they have to actually remember to get adrenal glands since its enabled from something other than spawning pool. That would be my best guess
@@marcuspatino2714 I appreciate the response and figured that might be playing a part in this. Thanks.
I play zerg and really like Serral, but at this point can't help but always root for his opponent. It looks like in the final game PtitDrogo got super nervous, because it was not a pro level play. At no point he tried to save his workers from lings or lurkers, always waiting for the army to arrive and kill the lurker. The same spot on top of his 4th mineral line remained unprotected for half of the game allowing a single lurker burrowing there again and again. It seems like he got into "attack mode" and and completely gave up defending his economy, which is a shame, because he had a good chance in this game.
There's been a couple instances where ling pressure at home causes harassing or frontline Protoss units to fly back over queens and hydras. It makes me wonder if Pitdrogo is using the "select all army units" command. Do pro players do this?
What's wrong with Feardragon? I think he gets shut down quite a bit by the other commentators, but he's an interesting thinker and a good addition to the overall cast.
Lurkers are super easy to manage... Zergs don't build lurkers too often because they are expensive and are really only useful versus protosses with poor detection.
ariochdivij666 lol have you seen nydas/swarm host shenanigans.. I’ve seen many games end abruptly with an overwhelming wave of Zerg units swarming your army. Drogo spent almost the whole game holding off pressure, and kept almost all of his storms.
@@lightweightjive i feel like u are actually making my point by saying with all the pressure drogo still won. lets see a zerg pull that off....it will never happen coz a handful of zerg units will die to drones where as 1 zealoth will kill like 5 drones before it dies. an adept will kill even more if u have to attack with drones. So there is a serious imba there because zerg needs to build so much more and mine so much more in order to take out a single unit specially if it is an archon, u can send waves and waves of lings and u will lose them all.
ariochdivij666 yeah I like your point.. I’ve always thought that playing Zerg is more difficult to get the hang of, but once you’re confident you can macro replace whole armies.. if Terran looses their whole army GG.

Why does everyone hark on the announcers? Maybe it's just cause I've watched a lot of these, but I like all the announcers. I was quite impressed in the matches that PtitDrogo won, really put a spin on what I thought was going to be a whitewash after the first game.
Drogo is also good.
No vipers from serral in the last game , really odd
Serrals strong point is his mini counter attacks when getting attacked. So make defences at home while attacking and you might win.
got it
This is because Zerg can’t win Protoss in strict ways. So Serral has always tried to make some variables when being against Protoss.

Yes indeed. Noob caster I guess.
Awesome games very good job guys !
Woooow, such a great series of games!
Carriers got severely nerfed. Dunno if thats good or bad
Yeah they did. I think they need to drop down that interceptor build time a bit. Graviton removal was a big nerf already.
They removed the graviton catapult? What's the upgrade they replaced it with?

Drogo should have closed in Serral while expanding and forced Serral to break instead of breaking in.
Geez, this must have been Serral on a bad day.
