So don't use an abrasive wheel on the mating surface because its aluminum but do use the mating surface as a leverage point for a steel screwdriver to pry the cover off lol gotcha 👌

The V2 valve cover and coil covers make this a good valve cover to get. Then they give you alot of hardware which makes m18 a no brainer to get.
Wonder why theres no baffling though? I might tap my oem cover to let it breath but not sure how much oil will spew out with no baffling.

they actually make an adapter for where the PCV goes to run AN line for catch can, but will still need a check valve in line so you don't push boost into your crank case causing positive pressure and pushing oil past your seals.

You don't have to worry about your key being close if you disconnect the battery first.

Plugging the head ports is optional on any valve cover setup. If you’re getting rid of the oem pcv setup and planning on running over 20 lbs it’s a good idea to plug them.

You should never put petroleum jelly or grease near an o-ring or rubber part like a new bushing . Use synthetic grease

Is injector removal needed for this valve cover, as removal is not required for factory cover removal?

Yes it is not required to take off the stock VC but it is required to put on the m18 VC
