looking forward to seeing an in Depth Comparison video between your beautiful Challenger and your beautiful Springfield. Both have two wheels but different characters!
Thanks Bjorn, have been putting my ideas down in paper for this idea since I got it. It’s going to take a awhile to create real perspective so it will likely be a few months before that happens.
best thing I ever did was put the mid rise bars on, besides the obvious better looks, the comfort is awesome and you are right, cornering is sooo much smoother using the larger muscle groups in my shoulders. It was really apparent when we did the Smokie Mts again in August. Enjoyed the video.
I'd keep a close eye on that bobber tire. I've NEVER seen one on the bike lose the bead like that. I hope they put it in a soapy bath and checked it over..
Hello Brian, I want to thank you for the 10% discount on my KST Comanche Bagger. It was $411.86 and the discount brought it down to $373.36. My bad I have a 2021 Indian challenger DH Bronze. Enjoy your video just keep being yourself brother.
Your Challenger is coming along nicely. I feel your pain making videos. I finally had to shut my garage door in one of my videos so that I could finish. Ride Safe ✌️ Brian
I must have arms like a T-Rex, I can’t find a set of bars that don’t pull me up on tank lock to lock. I hear Helibars are in the process of making bars for the Challenger.
Hi Brian, question about the bars. When you went to the dealership did they say anything about the warranty if you put them on yourself ? Just wondering if it void the warranty or not? I have the same bars but haven’t put them on yet, and haven’t yet asked the dealership about the price, wow! $700 bucks, yeah I’ll do them myself. Thanks for the video brother.
A warranty can only be voided if the manufacturer can prove that the failure or defect can be directly attributable to the change that you made. So if you stripped out a bolt in the handlebars or disconnected a vital wire that lead to a failure then yes it could void a warranty. But if you change your bars and the ECU fails or your valves implode then there’s no way you could be liable for that.
new subscriber here, looking forward to all your new upgrades! Those handlebars look sick, I'll have to get me a pair whenever I start making money again lol
I don't know, I tried the apes on a Springfield Darkhorse and really felt overly stretched out and didn't really feel in comfortable control at all, compared to my stock bars on my Springfield classic. I'm only 5'6" so that may have a lot to do with it. I just know that apes aren't for me.
You’ll notice mine are rolled back to a position that’s perfect for me. The first time I tried them on my friends bike they were way forward and I hated them but I tried it anyway.
@@TwoIndians I tend to slouch anyway, so bars halfway between the stock and apes may be an option. I haven't been too uncomfortable with the stock ones that made me think I absolutely need to replace. I'm sure I could use some more pull back to make my posture better. I haven't tried rolling back my bars a little, don't think I'd gain more than 1/2 inch if that. I just dropped a bunch of money doing a custom reupholstery and cover of the seat, pillion, pad and tank strap, so my wife might be less amenable towards any new geegaws for the bike for a while.
On another note. ............................................... A SAD DAY IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN MOTORCYCLES, THAT THE ICONIC MACHINE KNOWN AS VINTAGE HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM PRODUCTION AFTER 2021. MY SERIOUS QUESTION IS WHY? IS THERE ANOTHER BIKE TO REPLACE IT WITH THE SAME LOOK AND FEEL OF ANTIQUITY? ANSWER IS SIMPLY, NO. POLARIS HAS MADE A POOR DECISION IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. IT'S NOT JUST ME EXPRESSING THIS, AS OTHERS HAVE RAISED THEIR VOICE AS WELL. BUT WE'RE JUST LITTLE PEOPLE. SURE, INDIAN HAS THE SPRINGFIELD, A BEAUTIFUL BIKE TOO, BUT NOT QUITE THE SAME AS VINTAGE. WHY BRING IT UP IF IT DOESN'T MAKE A MARK WITH POLARIS' DECISION? JUST BECAUSE WITH ENOUGH EXPRESSION, MAYBE THEY'LL REVERSE THAT POOR DECISION. PERHAPS NOT IN 2022, BUT COULD IT RETURN IN 23, OR 24? THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN. AS A LIMITED LOW NUMBERED PRODUCTION, BUT THAT WOULD SUIT ME AND A FEW OTHER DIEHARD OLDE FOLKS WITH A TASTE FOR THE STYLE OF YESTERYEAR. JUST MY 2 CENTS WORTH. PASS IT ON TO POLARIS IF YOU DARE. SOMETIMES THOSE SITTING IN THEIR OVERSTUFFED, LEATHER, BOARD MEMBER CHAIRS, CIRCLING THE 'ROUND TABLE' MIGHT THINK TWICE.
Totally get it. There are several reasons the Vintage was cancelled, sales was one of them , I’ve also heard a rumor that room on the production floor was needed for the Chief, just a rumor. I would expect you may see it come back.
Explanation on the benefits of the midrise bars was exactly what I needed to hear

The outtakes are PRICELESS!!! I’m so glad the bobber tire going flat was just a simple incident and didn’t cause Mrs Barb any harm.
Love to see Barb out riding solo! You go guuurl. Keep the great videos coming, especially feedback on your new Challenger. Thanks for all you do!
Looks great Brian! Can't wait to see it in person!
Can’t wait to see the performance of the dyna mat I’ve been contemplating getting that for my challenger.....you will love the power band speakers!
yeah, if I ever ge the darn things! Man o man! been waiting for two months.
@@TwoIndians that sucks! And you guys are in prime riding season down there in Florida!!
Como se apaga la luz de check engine a una indian scout bobber sixty?
I am waiting for the speaker upgrade to see if it is worth the money.
The video was fun and the music worked great.
At the end I kept expecting Snoopy and Woodstock to come out and start dancing.
Them bloopers: bwahahaha
Good stuff! Can totally relate to the outtakes at the end. haha Happens to me all the time.
Lol…bloopers! Great job Brian.
😆🤣
Did you give the windshield away yet
yep, just like we promised. check our FB page if you like. thanks!
@@TwoIndians cool just watched it on Facebook. Like the way you did that even though I didn’t win 😂
Supper hero to the rescue of a Damsel in distress 👏
Luv the Challenger.... different subject. Does Barbara s half helmet boom mic catch too much wind on the bobber?
yeah, comms are useless without a windshield
I got a dart flyscreen but that's probably not enough to make a difference
Com actually works ok with the dart windscreen. I was surprised. Keep up the great vids..... Oh yea , hi Barb!
I'd keep a close eye on that bobber tire.

They look great...Was the ballpark price over $150 for the Bars?
More like 400 bucks
@@TwoIndians I thought so...They look nice👍😎

Thought this was a video of u actually installing the midrise bars?..😳
The install video was posted just a few days before this one and there is a link in this video. Thanks for watching.
