NBA Open Court great sport show!
Yes
@Frank Jensen I get your point, but I think this went a lil over your head. That was Shaq's way of saying Ernie is invited to the bbq.
@Brian Last the money is not a favor, son, they are paying the lads what they owe them for making all that money for them. That doesn't earn you a BBQ invite.
I love that when EJ is talking, matt looks like a kid just enjoying his stories
Yeah man it's so wholesome!
Ernie most definitely has a wealth of NBA stories. I’d shut up and listen too lol
Plus he doesn’t look as baked as previous shows either
He always looking like a kid on here
And Jack is not high lol
Inside the NBA is way better than NBA Countdown, let's argue.

EJ is a living legend. He has made post-game shows into an art and always make sure I tune into Inside the NBA after every game on tnt since I was like a teenager. I'm glad Stak and Matt giving him his flowers while he's still here he definitely deserves it he is most definitely a real one. Once again another great fellas.
Ernie is the type of mentor who I hope to be one day. Universally respected as a person, a man, and a professional due to a long history and large body of great and entertaining work. He's a real one and an OG.
@Eric He he lightskin anyway
My boy Ernie sitting in the seat like it's Inside The NBA Uncut with Stak n Matt
As a young man & real NBA fan Ive been hearing this voice my whole life & its nostalgia at this point..COMFORT is the best word to describe it..Huge respect for EJ..Love listening to his infinite legendary stories!!!
Well put...definitely a comforting, nostalgic voice after hearing it 25+ years
And a true gentleman too. Ernie has never talked down any player to do his job, unlike some other dudes we all know. One of the last true respectful media members we have, truly a dying breed
Wow. You git this one fr, it is truly Comforting to hear him call games.
Of all the things Ernie is famous for, I find the fact he calls people (like John the example he gave) to help them with their cancer the most respectable thing about him. It's small things like that which show you the true character of someone. As big as EJ is, as successful as he is, the fact he will give time because he believes he has a responsibility to help randoms with their cancer, it is so humbling and admirable to hear it. A true role model. Thank you EJ for sharing that.
Matt and Stak forcing Ernie to accept how great of a person he actually his...you love to see it
"The Great Ernie Johnson."
This was by far my favourite All The Smoke Episode, to be able to just listen to Ernies story and have Matt and Jack just sit and admire this man truly displays just how popular Ernie is within the NBA industry
You can hear the sheer intelligence and love this man has for the game. His humility only makes me like him more lol
Man that was a “great” interview guys. Ernie is awesome, but as human and father I am blown away. Everyone needs a “ Ernie” in their life, because I shedding tears talking about his father, his wife and family I am so speechless. An to handle those big personalities on his show is crazy respect 🙌🏻. Definitely this show made my day and as mentioned we need more “Ernie Johnson’s” in our life and world. 😢☺️
hey Eric, God loves you, even though you're a front running douche
Absolutely
EJ is GOAT for everything he does. He seems like such a genuine guy and someone we can all relate to. Keep up the great work all the smoke! ✊🏽💨🏀
And respectful too. He has never needed to talk down on any player to do his job, unlike some other dudes we all know. A true gentleman and one of the last true respectful media members we have

Why do I tear up while smiling while listening to this great man's stories man
Me too.
Is there anyone better than Ernie? Not only one of the best in the business, but has to be one of the best people. Role model.
Ernie is just so dope... i had a permanent smile throughout the whole thing. You can just listen to him talk for long because there are positive lessons in his experience and what he talks about.
Ernie voice so legendary 😂😂

I know then been at this for a while but man you gotta love how Matt and Stak have grown in this media space. Really improved their craft
I think i respect EJ for adopting for kids and changing their lives forever more than anything else he has done. Thats saying a lot when talking about him. Great man.
Ernie started and ended the show reminding them to not just throw the word "legend" and "icon" around for him, what a humble and kind man i love him
Or is it reverse psychology 🧐
Can listen to Ernie talk all day. He's truly a class act!
Just watched this again! Ernie Johnson you are a global treasure! May God continue to bless this man..Love You EJ!
When EJ talks. You listen. So inspirational
Ernie Johnson is a gold mine and we need to really appreciate him as he is a true role model.
So many great nuggets of wisdom he dropped in this interview. “There’s value in everyone “ is one I will hold on to for life. Thanks for a great episode guys.
Damn Ernie got me in tears…my mother was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma a few years back…I had 2 young daughters at the time…I’m actually the one who shaved her head when the chemo was making her hair fall out….thankfully she’s been in remission for about 3 years now but it was definitely a rough time…but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel
I’m so happy to hear that, brother!
I hope your life is good, and your mom is still healthy.
I didn’t even know anything about Ernie and now he’s like my favorite person on tv! Great heart 🙏🏼
Fam, y’all gotta but the pictures in the background when the guests tell their stories, that’ll set it off! Instead of the “all the smoke” background for the entire show, when guests have these flashbacks it’ll be 🔥 to show old photos
They used to do it for some previous episodes
Nice suggestion though I might add that if they do it constantly they must not put focus on the pictures and talk about them for a long time since All the Smoke is also a podcast and people tuning in might not connect on parts where they comment on photos but it's perfect for UA-cam though!
EJ is such a LEGEND. He’s 1 of 1. I’m sure you feel his presence when he walks into the room. When he talks, everyone listens. Best in the business.
We need more people like Ernie in the world
Yo I never clicked so fast in my life! Ernie is the G.O.A.T. to be able to put up with personalities like Shaq and Chuck!!!
You ain't never lied. I damn near broke my mouse lmfao.

Oh, I've been waitin' for this one! This about to be a certified Hood Classic!
@Eric He dude shut up.
Ernie the goat the voice of the league for many years…definitely got a golden ticket to any cookout 🙌🏾🤙🏾❤️‼️
I’ve watched most of the all the smoke interviews, this has to be one of the best all time. For basketball fans, this is so intriguing like listening to your father or grandfather tell their stories. Such a beautiful mind mixed with such an outgoing, expressionate, and intuitive tone. All while being able to understand everyone he talks to wether they’re old, young, black, white, any race, male or female. Such an outstanding character all around, cherish him while we have him for real
This one is gonna be good! I have always loved Ernie
When I see any other guests "OK I will check this out later…"
When I see EJ "oh shit!" Fastest click ever!
I’m the opposite only because I knew this one was gonna be so good that I had to save it for later 😄
Talking about Kobe like this always has me tearing up. Miss you Kobe!!! Love you!
Yeah I cried during this episode….. Ernie is the man. And a great father. Incredible.

Man Ernie is an amazing human being 💯❤️ much love to this man and his family
His camera presence and voice projection is crazy good. Most people don't come off that professional during interviews, even other veterans in the film industry

No words can describe how incredible Ernie is. Don’t think there is anyone in the public media that just seems so genuine. He is who he is, and that’s why everyone loves/respect him. Great interview, just found the channel, love your work.
I have watched and loved every show Matt And Jack have done but Ernie's episode was the best one ever, I mean I can't think of the last time I actually shed a tear, I mean I know I have a big heart n I'm very respectful and a good person but when I get older and I'm getting close to checking out of this body I can just hope I had just a tiny piece of that dudes heart. That was a great interview and all the emotions were felt in this one and Matt and Jack are definitely on their way to being legendary interviewers I mean I always have loved this show and they have always delivered but this episode you can tell they are on the next level of the interviewing game. I never comment on anything on UA-cam or ai haven't ever but I had to get that off my chest.
