Npw in all fairness you must remember Delta was only about 16 or 17 here lol. And to again be fair you must watch a little of her Movie "Love is in the Air" she did last year...I loved that one. Keep up the great suggestions Kris....
That was good to see, any chance of seeing more Neighbours because I grew up in and around them streets and use to see them filming in the streets and at the local shopping centre and at channel 10
Neighbours has been a training ground for many Aussie actors and singers. Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia and Jason Donovan (big in the UK but not US) as well as actors like Guy Pearce, Margot Robbie,, Russell Crowe & the Hemsworth brothers.
Crikey i have not watched neighbours since the late 80's when Kylie and Jason AKA Scott and Charlene got married
Delta was not the only singer to appear on Neighbours...Natalie Imbruglia was also o this show (her most famous song is called Torn).
Other stars you may know include Kylie Mingoue, Guy Pearce, Margot Robbie, Liam Hemsworth, Russel Crowe and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
This TV show started in 1985 and is still running. It is not my favourite Aussie TV Drama....but my daughter loves it.....oh and there is a lot of drama.
Another rival Australian TV show that has produced stars would be Home and Away such as Chris Hemsworth aka Thor.
And Julian McMahon, who was big on Charmed and Nip/Tuck
No Jay Ryan in this one. Not the best neighbours clip but a blast from the past for sure. 👍🏽
Delta was what you would now call an industry plant. She was on NEIGHBOURS in an acting role and by the end of her very first episode she was shot in a spotlight at a piano playing a song for absolutely no reason.
I would never deny her amazing talent, but none of it was incidental. This was all planned before she ever set foot on the set. She was there purely to set herself up as a musical artist.
Also, why is is called 'Neighbours 91'. This was ten years later.
Well yeah, she had already released her first single “I Don’t Care” by this point, and that flopped so this was a chance to rebrand.
