    Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

    Okay, so I'm a former K teacher and Agnes is EXACTLY the reason there was zero trading in my class. I told them they have to go through their parents if they want to trade because we don't always know what is important and not so important. And FYI, Agnes's Mom don't give a f where the headbands are coming from. She sees them but she doesn't care. A parent who cared would have brought them to the teacher and said, 'I don't know where these are coming from'. 🤷‍♀️

      I was that mom. My kid started bringing home silly bands. Apparently they were only allowed to trade those and some toy the boys were playing (roll the ball and a monster popped out. Don’t member the name) anywhoser, I went up there to talk to the teacher immediately and was reassured. You are absolutely right that she don’t care. What a lackadaisical parent. So toxic.

    When I was little, my first bike was stolen. We found out it was the little girl a couple streets over. My mom was pissed. She and I marched over there. We stood out in front of the girls house and it was obvious that house hold was having problems. Beer cans trash and junk everywhere. I looked at my mom because she stopped. Her whole vibe changed. She looked like she was going to cry. We turned around and started to walk away. My mom asked me to invite the girl to come over on Saturday. I did. Long story short My mom talked to her in privet for a while about the situation and told her if there was anything she ever needed to talk about EVER to come to her. My mom asked for the bike back and had a little bike just like mine but purple for her hidden in the other room. When she went home and brought back my bike my mom surprised her with one of her own. That has sat in my heart my whole life.

      @@kimbo500 I genuinely don't understand the problem? It's a plastic bag in a can. Would you prefer people walk around with poop-bags in their hands when you see them on the street? This is one of the dumbest things I've heard. If you don't want dog owners to leave it on the street; let people throw it in the nearest trash can. Jeez.

    • @kimbo500
      @kimbo500 19 днів тому +3

      @@renatheer Yes, I would rather someone carry their dog's poop bag to either their own garbage can, or a public one. It is ok to have a difference of opinion. Even when the waste is bagged, it not only gets extremely stinky in the intense FL heat, but the bags often aren't tied or they sink to the bottom of the can. They then don't get into the garbage truck - so the small poop bags remain in my can. Sometimes they aren't even tied and I've had to wash out my can on several occasions due to busted or untied poop bags as well as leftover carry out pop/soda cups dripping into the bottom of my can. It's a difficult task for me to hose out the can given my permanent disability. I now don't put my can to the curb the night before as instructed by the Waste company, I do it first thing in the morning on pick up day....then I make sure I listen for the garbage pickup so I can return the can to my garage right away. I choose to do all of that, but it truly is because of other's inconsideration. I can live with all of what I've said, being 'one of the dumbest things' you've heard.....at least I won't have to deal with the terrible mess anymore - and my body thanks me for that. 👍

Broke her lunchbox, then ripped her expensive hello kitty overalls (oh my gosh b'gosh outfit - if you know you know) His mom was the school bus driver. Told me had some issues but these things would not continue. They Did. So I finally told my daughter, if were hit, she could hit back. Next day she came home & told me she punched him into the next classroom- he started the violence- everyone saw it. She didn't get in trouble and he never tried to bully her again. The Agnes story reminded me of the time when I was 8 and a girl I thought was a friend asked me for money to buy a candy during recess. She said her mom would pay me back at the end of school so I gave her the money so she could also enjoy candy during the break. At the end of the day, I was waiting near where the girl was waiting for her mom and when she arrived and they started to leave I approached them and told her mom what happened and if she could give me the money (for some context, I'm from Mexico. The amount I'm talking about was like 3-5 pesos which was around 30-50 American cents maybe, can't be completely sure, but for me it was a lot) and she looked at me and said she wasn't going to pay me anything, that it was my fault for giving her (her daughter) money.... I was in shock, and that day, my 8y/o self learned a valuable and hard lesson: some people are straight trash with no principles, and that I would never lend money unless they really proved they were friends ☠️ (thankfully never happened again)

I then have to wheel my trash can back to my garage and have dog poop sit in the can for another week. With the dog poop rule, you should throw it out in your trash or a public trash bin regardless of location. The reason is that trash disposal for residences is a paid service. If you do not pay, you do not get to use the service even if they're going to pick up that day. There could be charges on the owner of the bin if there is overflow, the lid is not fully shut, or you put the wrong items in the wrong bin (i.e. trash vs recycle vs yard waste). Just use public services or your own, don't feel entitled to other's stuff just because you're unbothered or wouldn't care if it happened to you.

      Public trash bins aren't always available and people take their dogs for hikes or long walks and stuff. Nobody's trash is going to overflow from a pint-sized poop bag, and I'm not doing a 4-mile jog with a bag of shit in my hand, then taking it home in my car. Using any available bin is the best option sometimes, compared to the alternative of not cleaning up after your dog at all. It's such a weird thing to be territorial over. Luckily, in my neighborhood we get along and nobody cares.

    • @pinky9440
      @pinky9440 Місяць тому +16

      @@WeartheGoodSocks- it is not about being territorial. It is a broken poop bag, with poop covering the inside of your bin, then having to wash the whole bin because it is dog poop every time you open it. Even when I lived in a city, if you were walking and needed to throw something out you just walk up to the nearest row of bins. I've never seen any issues or failure to pickup due to wrong items, that's not a thing here. Like there are things you are not supposed to throw away but there is no way to know who throws away what, the rules are unenforceable. I have always thought it was perfectly normal to throw dog poop in the nearest bin, that is what everyone does.

He took it home promising me to give it back the next day but the next day when i asked for the book he said that his mother threw it away because she was upset about it because they were Christians. I was a sweet and shy kid back then and I started crying until a friend went to the class teacher and told her about it. The class teacher called the kid's mom and made her ask forgiveness. Poop in the trash can does matter. Unless you're putting on the top of a full bin and trash is being picked up that morning it's a huge problem. If you toss it in someone's empty bin at the end of their driveway after trash collection they're now stuck with it rotting there until the next pickup. Worse if it breaks open. It's inconsiderate. Depending where you live people pay for trash collection service - it's not for public use. It's also an issue if it's at the bottom and garbage collection doesn't dump the entire can. Now it's stuck there getting crushed under the owner's normal trash week after week. They may not be physically able to clean/fish out your filth from the bottom of their can and they shouldn't have to. Your pet? Your responsibility.

    Regarding the Italian restaurant story: There is a reason people in the industry call these charming individuals The God Squad and groan whenever they see them approaching the front door. Entitled, allergic to tipping, and quite often very rude. Favorite TGS story: Wait approached table, greeted them, and asked, "What can I get you to drink?" Ms. Church Lady, in a righteous/huffy tone loudly proclaimed, "We don't DRINK!," to which the wait responded, "No fluids at all? No water, soda, or tea?," which [of course] made her even *more* huffy. Those folks are such a trip.

I would work literally 16-18 shifts and being going to school at the same time. To all my kitchen friends, ask for a smoke break, you don’t have to smoke. I'm a dog walker, and I never toss my clients' dogs or my own dogs poop into someone else's trash barrel. The reason that I feel this way is because I feel it's rude to do, but sometimes the poop bags break inside of the trash barrels.. I have had it happen in my own barrels. So, someone who may not even have a dog has to clean that out of their barrel because it will most likely smell nasty. I now have a separate bucket for my poop bags, haha.

      I would walk 2 miles holding a bag of dog dookie before stinking up someone else's trash can. We don't know if they store it in their garage, if they're an older person who would have difficulty cleaning the bin, if their trash people don't take dog poop. At my old home if it was a lone poop bag the trash collectors would absolutely NOT take it. Like never.
      Unless you know the person and have verified it's ok to toss dog poop in their bin, just hold onto it until you find a public bin or your own bin. It sucks when there aren't a lot of public bins but it's super rude to stink up a stranger's bin. In fact, I don't even put my dog's poop bags in my own bin. I go to a specific public dog poop bin near my home so my garage won't smell.

    • @sethra777

      Thank you. I don't own dogs and the days between trash pickup our trash cans can't be in view of the street, per neighborhood rules. Putting them in my backyard behind the fence means raccoons get into them, but I also have to carry trash from inside the house quite a long way around the outside to put the trash in the outside cans. So, our cans stay in our garage, which opens directly to our kitchen. I do not want my cans to smell like dog poop. Eventually the smell will start to seep into my house. I chose not to own a dog, therefore I shouldn't have to deal with their poop or bad smells. If that means dog owners have to carry a full bag of poop on a walk, oh well. That's part of the consequences of choosing to be a dog owner. Don't like it? Then don't own a dog. So, thank you for respecting your clients' neighbors' property!

    As a former server, i was that one server who handled large parties typically because the rotation of seats and having to auction of food gets real old, and disrupts other tables enjoying their meals around a larger party.
    I set ground rules as soon as I introduced myself, telling all large parties to make their dining experience pleasant I would start at the top left corner of the table getting orders, I would go clockwise around the table, where the food was originally ordered at is where the food would be dropped off at. Also I wouldn't allow random people to shout their orders at me. After I recieved everyone's order at the table and had all my seats numbered, i then asked if it was all together or separate at this time if separate checks I would get all that organized and together. Then I would inform the table that I would put their food into the system and be back for refills.
    Setting boundaries of how you want to handle the table I feel like is a must. I NEVER allowed tables to walk all over me, and I made sure to train newer servers on how to deal with large groups

    I was a restaurant manager for 25 years, casual dining. Church groups were not something the servers looked forward to. Example: I once paid a server a twenty percent tip from the restaurant’s petty cash. I wrote on the chit (receipt) that went to accounting “ the customers were assholes who stiffed their server.” I was asked about it by my area director and after I told him the story, even he believed I was a “valid expense”. 😂. BTW server wage for my state was and still is $3.35 per hour. My servers made GOOD money cause they were the best, mostly part time college students. 😊

Rude, entitled, messy and no tip- I still ended up working plenty of Sundays and can't tell you how many times I got 1 or 2 bucks on a 50 or 70 dollar check. Or no actual tip- just a religious pamphlet about how I was going to hell or needed Jesus. And left more mess than 5 children. I'm shuddering now just remembering it.

So it has always been a source of pride to me when I’d go out with my brother’s family (he had six kids, had one kid, and then add our parents). So we’re a party of 11. I recognize the looks on the faces of the wait staff as we were seated. Now all those kids were the best behaved and great manors. Ordering was timely and organized. By the time the bill arrived I could see the astonishment on the servers face and we’d get verbal compliments from the staff. The only thing is for me to worry about is my family didn’t understand tipping. So I would know to bring extra cash to stash on the table to compensate. Because I, having been a restaurant worker, was a very generous tipper.

    The problem with the pooh in trashcans is people will throw it in the cans after trash pickup and before you can get home to drag your trashcan back into your yard. So now you have multiple bags of pooh stuck to the bottom of your can. And of course rats love to eat dog pooh because of the undigested food. Now you have these busted bags of dog pooh at the bottom of your can and the thrash truck does not completely invert the can so they stay there smelling up your yard, attracting rats and flies. Until you decide one Saturday or Sunday morning to tie a bandana around your nose and mouth, put on some gloves, remove them all and then scrub your can with bleach or some other harsh chemical to get rid of the smell and flies, all while gagging and crying that, "you don't even have a dog!".

      Rather have it in a can getting collected than left on the road.

      Yeah more public trash bins would solve this problem. Cause I think it's nastier to know that there are people walking blocks with poop bags in their hands. That risks more chance of contamination on things. I feel the same over baby diapers. Sanitizer can't do anything when your still carrying it. And poop can carry the diseases something/someone has. The sooner its in a receptacle the better.

      ABSOLUTELY NOT!! You take on a dog it is YOUR responsibility to pick up YOUR dog’s poop! Since it is YOUR DOG, it should not be a problem to carry the poop bag back to your own garbage can. You leave it in MY can, I will report you to the authorities!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

    The poo issue - When we had a dog, we always just carried the poo back home to throw away. The problem I have is that neighbors have thrown their dog poo in our garbage can AFTER the garbage was picked up that day. In my neighborhood, we have to keep our cans out of sight and in the garage. So it’s not fair to expect me to store the poo until the next trash day. It’s your dog, their poo, so use your own trash can.

      NOPE!!! If I see a hat I like in the store I will order it online. I don’t know who tried it on in the store and what’s lingering in it 😬my mother told me to just assume everyone has head lice and never use their stuff.

    OK, so I have never commented before but this is my time lol. 51-year-old mom here. when my daughter was in kindergarten first and second grade, she had a bully. She would come home upset every day at some thing this other girl had done. Of course, I said the normal stuff that she was jealous and all of that. My daughter ended up, handling it herself and I have stood in the sidelines, watching the other girl grow up because we live in a small town. But I must tell you I low-key celebrate the fact that my daughter is a principal of a school and her bully is a waitress.

      I would only say, having been a teacher, you could’ve taught her so much more about the situation. Many bullies have terrible home lives. Some are just jerks. It absolutely does not excuse the behavior but explains that the behavior can be a symptom.

    I worked in one restaurant where the cooks and manager were great, we could eat if we were hungry and not waiting on tables at that moment, like if we'd already checked on our tables, and run their food, or between tables. One cook would even make us a "family" meal almost every week and it was stuff that wasn't on the regular menu and was delicious, and the manager would pay for it, too.

    Hearing these horrible customers stories makes me glad I put in the extra time and effort to be as good a customer as I could be for my 30th birthday celebration. I provisionally reserved my table for a party of 16 people 6 weeks in advance (was pleasantly surprised by us being given a separate room), confirmed my reservation and preordered food 3 weeks in advance (even organised the preordered food into a nice, clear table when I emailed it to them), asked if it was OK to bring a cake made by a baker in, arrived early enough to add my own decorations - balloons and flowers - they had said I could bring and then tidied them up after too, kept track of everyone's orders so I knew exactly who had preordered what (thanks to the table I had open on my mobile), checked that everyone had paid and offered to cover anyone who might have forgotten (no one did) and tipped 20%. It was a lot of effort but I am happy to do it for special occasions.
    PS I invited friends, church family and neighbours but I can promise we didn't sing. There wasn't even a Happy Birthday to you, which was such a relief.

      THIS!! As a server, I have had so many big groups that were so so messy and it made service hell. Only a few gems were like this! Having this empathetic attitude makes such a difference for hospitality workers and I bet they took real good care of your group during service. These kinds of customers are the ones that make the industry seem worth it but unfortunately theres still too many bad nuggets out there
