Amen for examining their experiences in light of the Bible 🙏.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
13:6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

I thank you pastor for your simplicity explanation of the gospel of our salvation.

It seems that people drawn to Calvinism have the tendency for too much introspection instead of looking at what Jesus did and trusting it completely for themselves.

Also I like to add, I miss the white board teaching!!!!!!!!!! I also have another quirk, I hate suits and ties and wont ware them, but I still like seeing a preacher in suit and tie when teaching the bible, I know, thats peculiar...........
I have to repeat, I like how you keep salvation so simple, when 99% of preachers dont, and John 3:16, Rom 8:24, 10:13, Epe 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Rev 3:20 are my salvation verses......
I can always tell when a preacher makes salvation in Jesus Christ over complicated. When they say Rev 3:20 cant be use in salvation of a soul, they go OH OH OH OH!!!!!!!! thats not how to get saved, you cant lead a soul to Christ on that verse!!!!!!! They all have an over educated bible scholar Greek meltdown, but Jesus Christ himself used all kinds of illustrations on saving souls, and he himself said "I am the door"........

Hello brother, I have not given up on the white board or my necktie. This video was meant to be a casual talk on my observations on the book so that is why I was dressed casually. I agree with you on that. But when it comes to a suit, I can’t wear them here because of the unbearable heat even in winter. Also, all my suits “have shrunk“ haha. You are right on about the way some object to using some simple verses like Rev 3:20 in soul winning. I believe we can use any verse according to the situation.

    The two Salvations:
    Eternal Salvation vs. Temporal Salvation
Believing in Jesus Christ is simply the evidence of a predestinated elect person that was saved before the foundation of the world: before Creation itself.
An already eternally saved person professes Christ, who is sealed to eternal life, not to obtain eternal life.
No works can obtain eternal life; works are simply the evidence of a person who already has eternal life.
The distinction is that there are 2 salvations: eternal salvation, and temporal salvation here in time.
Eternal salvation is sealed by God, through his grace: undeserved mercy. No works can buy eternal life. God is the one who did all the work, being God's freewill. We have no freewill for eternal salvation; if we did, we would screw it up.
The other salvation: temporal salvation is obeying God while living in this world, which comes with blessings. For temporal salvation, we exercise our freewill, receiving either blessing or punishment.
The Holy Bible has 2 salvations; and it is our duty and obligation to discern between the two; otherwise, there is no end to the confusion.
    God bless!

Calvinist aren't the only ones that complicate salvation, every denomination I know of seems to have a different way or add to, meaning they all preach salvation by grace, but if you dont say the right prayer and or live a holy life, I'm not saved.........
Back in June 1987 after sunset I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and save me, I him asked every night for a week til it felt like I was trying to fill a cup with water that was already full. Then two years after I had a SDA take my salvation away in 5 minutes because I went to church on Sunday. Then last year a Baptist preacher Robert Breaker on YT took my salvation away because I didn't put faith in Christ blood back in 1987, I never even knew about the blood atonement til 5 years after, after lots of bible reading and local Baptist church teaching. So see everyone has to put their own spin on getting saved, which in-turn pisses me off to no end!!!!!
In the past 35 years I've done a lot of bible reading in NT only, very little in OT, therefore I came to a conclusion that I cant learn the whole bible, I know my limits, so I decided to make sure I know the doctrine of salvation. And so far the Baptist preacher I had 30 years ago, Jack Hyles and >YOU, are the only preachers I heard that believe like I believe.......
So YES I believe in easy believe-ism, just believe in John 3:16 or asking for salvation from Jesus Christ the best that a soul knows how a soul gets saved. From what I read in the KJV, you can add works to salvation if one can or wants to, if you want to keep the Sabbath then keep the Sabbath, just dont tell me I have to keep the Sabbath to be saved. Also if one only ask Jesus for salvation then that soul is saved, then that soul can learn about the blood of Christ later and why the blood was needed and why it is precious, thats the true power in the blood of Christ, by just believing and or asking Jesus Christ for salvation, a soul is saved.....
I like what John Harper was preaching on the night the Titanic went down, he was pleading to souls that only had moments left, to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved!!!!

Election and Predestination is very real, while Calvinism is a false interpretation of election and predestination.

  • @BIBLEWORDSANDVERSES

    Eternal Salvation:
    Arminianism versus Calvinism
    Arminianism is complete freewill.
Calvinism is the predestination of all things.
    Which one is right?
The answer is that they are both wrong, being two extremes.
Freewill puts the control in the hands of man, making God weak.
Absolute predestination makes God the sinner, because you have no control over any of your sins; God programmed you to be a robot.
The truth is that there are two types of salvation:
    Eternal salvation, and temporal salvation.
Eternal salvation was taken care of by God.
Temporal salvation, here in this present life, has to do with the predestinated elect's obedience to God. Reward for obedience, and punishment for disobedience.
We must be mindful of extremes, and be careful discerners of God's word.
    2 Timothy 2:15 KJV -
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
    2 Timothy 2:16 KJV -
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
    Mark 7:13 KJV -
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
    2 Peter 1:20 KJV -
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
    Psalm 12:6 KJV -
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
    Psalm 138:2 KJV -
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
    God bless!

    Is election and predestination Calvinism?
There is a distinction to be made on election and predestination:
Your believing in Jesus is the evidence that you already have eternal life, not to get eternal life.
    1 John 5:1 KJV -
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
    Believeth means believes, present tense.
Ephesians 1:4 KJV - According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
God predestinated his elect before the foundation of the world, before The Creation.
    Ephesians 1:5 KJV -
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
The "us" is Paul and the believers; the letters of Paul and others are always to believers. The believers are always the ones for whom the letters are intended.
    Acts 13:48 KJV -
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Out of that group, only the elect believed.
In Matthew 13, the parable of the wheat and the tares is very clear:
God planted good seed. Then Satan came along and planted bad seed.
God is letting both types of seed grow together until the harvest (the harvest is the second coming).
At the harvest, the return of Jesus Christ, the tares (the bad seed) will be gathered first for destruction. Then the wheat (the good seed), will be gathered unto eternal life.
Those who say that election is not fair don't realize that if God had not elected some to eternal life, all would be destroyed eternally, as the penalty for even one sin is eternal death. Jesus Christ's death and resurrection assures eternal life for the elect.
    Matthew 26:28 KJV -
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
    Hebrews 9:28 KJV -
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
    Daniel 9:27 KJV -
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
    The operative word is "many."
    The many are the elect.
You believe in Jesus Christ because you are already a born-again elect and predestinated person; this profession of belief in Christ is the evidence that you are an elect, and not to obtain eternal life, because you, as an elect, already have been decreed to eternal life. If you are elect you already have eternal life.
Those who are not elect and predestinated won't believe in Jesus Christ in their heart, though they can profess Christ for worldly gain.
Calvinism itself is the predestination of all things, which would make God the sinner, as you have no choice over your sins: you were programmed to commit them all.
God is not a God who programmed every single thing, and sits back inactively, watching robots.
God is an active God, and
rather uses any situation to work it for his own will. That is even more awesome, that God can work individuals' own decisions to work out his purpose.
    Romans 8:28 KJV -
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
    Ephesians 1:11 KJV -
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Eternally, God chose people who will live for ever, though temporally, in this life, God isn't concerned with the color of shirt you wear today; that is the distinction, instead of every thing being freewill, or every thing being predestinated.
Eternally, God elected some people to eternal life; otherwise all would perish in the lake of fire, which is the second death. This is called eternal salvation.
There is also temporal salvation, here in time, where people make choices, good or bad; but God is able to work his purpose, even when people make bad freewill decisions.
In other words, eternal salvation is God's freewill, not ours.
Temporal salvation is our freewill: if we, as elect, obey God in this life, we are blessed; and if we do not obey God in this life, we forego the blessings of God.
Here is John 3:16 in its proper context:
    John 3:16 KJV -
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    1 John 5:1 KJV -
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
    John 3:3 KJV -
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
    John 3:8 KJV -
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
    John 3:18 KJV -
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16 cannot be understood in isolation; there are 15 verses before it, and verses after it as well.
You are unable to believe in Christ if you are not born again, born of the Spirit.
Man cannot on his own believe in Christ. God is the one that gives the ability to a predestinated elect person to believe in Christ, by the act of making somebody born again; man has no ability to do this on his own.
    1 John 5:10 KJV -
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
    Romans 8:16 KJV -
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
    1 John 5:6 KJV -
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
If the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit is not in you, you cannot believe.
Non-elect will never have this witness so they can believe.
Eternal Salvation is only for the elect.
    Romans 9:13 KJV -
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Whosoever and all doesn't always mean any one or every one; it can be any or all of a group of people: the elect, also known as the called or chosen. It's not always the whole world, all people.
It is all too easy to use Calvinism, which is a wrong doctrine, for the purpose of discrediting election and predestination, which is found throughout the Bible, and cannot be denied.
    John 10:24 KJV -
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
    John 10:25 KJV -
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
    John 10:26 KJV -
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
    John 10:27 KJV -
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
    John 10:28 KJV -
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
    John 8:46 KJV -
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
    John 8:47 KJV -
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
    John 6:36 KJV -
But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
    John 6:37 KJV -
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
In sum, every thing is either God breathed or God allowed.
Either God decrees or God permits something to happen.
    1 Timothy 6:15 KJV -
    Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
If you want to pursue this further, read The Holy Bible - King James Version, the real Bible.
