- October 30 / 31 1967 - Paul was in France filming 'The Fool On The Hill' sequence that was used in their film "Magical Mystery Tour". "I wandered off to France and did the 'Fool On The Hill' part one morning with a couple of mates. It wasn't quite "union" - you were supposed to take millions of cameramen, but we didn't want to do that..."

Despite the full version on Magical Mistery Tour is so funny, I can't avoid to feel a kind of sadness and maybe, nostalgic because here Paul was 25 (so young!) and currently, he is almost 80 and you think about all the long road he has crossed: meeting new people, losing loved ones, achieving the success and, in certain ocassions, the failures, composing without rest and giving it all to his public. It's impossible not getting emotional... he's a man who has lived the life so great and he has given us amazing moments because of his music. The world won't be the same when he flies away...
William is 84 years old and he won't live forever. And his career started when he joined Beatles late 1966 "as an already set up affair".

I didn't really get the song before I heard that, but knowing that, I think it's actually a pretty kind hearted song. I was in middle school when I saw this movie with my dad and I remember perfectly when this song arrived I was shocked because I felt immediately in love with Paul McCartney. He was so sweet and cute. Then I listened to the song and I felt in love with the Beatles. Such a sweet memory.
