Insecurity can make anyone go to unlimited extents in order for the feeling to no longer be there, here Maya’s insecurity has made her feel that if Arjun loses all relations except hers then she’ll feel satisfied and she’ll no longer have to worry regarding her insecurity reappearing. Well to be honest, everyone has their own mind set. In this case some see the character as a criminal and others don’t.
We all have different ways of seeing and understanding things. Example I for once don’t see Maya mostly bad. But that doesn’t mean I’m a psychopath, it just means that I see both sides rather one.
I see Maya as severely insecure and introverted person. Insecurity can make anyone go to unlimited extents in order for the feeling to no longer be there, here Maya’s insecurity has made her feel that if Arjun loses all relations except hers then she’ll feel satisfied and she’ll no longer have to worry regarding her insecurity reappearing.
The character here describes us all.
We are all like this when we feel insecure and frightened. We all act out on these emotions sometimes rightly and sometimes wrongly.
