I had to watch this again, it just makes me smile so much! 50 years of digging for bottles earned you the blessings. Some people may never find one but will watch this and know when they hit one of the holy grail bottles, the surprise and joy is so worth it & it may take them 50 years just never give up!
Mr. Rodgers of bottle digging you and shelly are great people and hearing dave talk like x mas day 5 years old with green New Orleans medicine. Everyone is happy for you. And congrats on the new property you bought and can now dig. God is good God is great.

We love the history and the adventure of discovery....ya just never know what may be buried just waiting to be rescued and brought to light. God bless your family and you Carol....please stay safe
Wowsers!!! Digger Dave you can sqawk away all you want on that one...and those blue ones you give to your son, that's amazing that you guys do that for him...and his/your family ☺️🙏🙏🙏live your God thanking ways,it's a blessing to to be able to watch you guys get all down in there and dirty🤪 . I'm from Canada,I've thought about digging in certain spots before, but never would i ever have thought to look in a spot where our outhouses used to sit.😷💩 Plus even with that knowledge,I look at those items you dig out of the dumps and privies and couldn't imagine my ancestors throwing away anything that ain't broke,or not reusing them and I had older cousin's that would cut off the tops of bottles and have glasses, or take a torch to the side of a stubby beer bottle and then with another bottle push it into the side of the heated bottle and make an indentation... Voilà ashtrays...😊 Just canning purposes alone I don't get it,seems like alot of people in your area had more money than they knew what to do with, backbone the day. And I thought that was a fairly knew thing in our world , but I grew up with parents who went through the depression, and their ways held fast, and now I find myself cringing at the waist I see in our world. Well God bless you all,and thanks for your incouragement to continue to pray for our world.🙏🙏🙏
Well, you and Miss Shelley certainly had a wonderful dig! Congratulations on finding the bottle of a lifetime! God is so good!!! You saved lots of beautiful old glass, and I feel privileged to have been able to watch. God bless y'all in all your endeavors, and please stay healthy and safe!😊💖
Dave, I Love You both you and Shelly and Thank our Father in the name of Christ Jesus for Blessing You and Yours. Giving, Caring Hearts and an Attitude of Gratitude is something you have by the bucketloads. You and your family are always in my prayers.
It is really neat to see two people who enjoy the same hobbies. I was never blessed with a partner that liked to venture out and find neat stuff. My thing was fossils. But I was down to dig for anything. But I had to do it alone. Take a few minutes to appreciate each other. I praise you both for (finding each other ) the GREATEST find ever.!!! MAY the. LORD. Keep you blessed !!

I'm thrilled for you all! Shelley is a complete angel! It's a pleasure to watch two people so kind and loving toward each other find such a valuable treasure! Sell that thing and go on a nice cruise or island getaway with your family! Create memories! PS. I am from Woodbury NJ (pretty small town in South jersey) it was so cool to see a bottle from my hometown. ;)
Thank you for your wonderful message. We may do just that and take a trip or something while we still can. There are so many starving and hurting people though who we would love to help....we are just praying for the Lord to guide us. Stay safe and God bless you...
David Beeler Please stay away from Cruise Liners....Just see what is going on at the moment. They are loaded with bacteria and viruses......😱🤮Get yourself a nice vehicle with a little trailer you can sleep in. So you and your wife can travel through the States looking for more bottles!! That is what I would do...LoL😂 But for each their own...! Good luck you two wonderful people...God Bless🙏🏼🍀♥️👋🏼🇨🇦

Wow...that's what's great about our hobbies. Whether it be bottle digging, relic hunting, hunting Native American artifacts. When you start your hunt you just never know what treasure you might come home with that day. Congrats to you both and Dave after 50+ years of digging you deserve that one. I could tell when you first saw it, it was a good one by your reaction. Well done!
Absolutely amazing dig guy 57 years of bottle digging you deserve it such a beautiful bottle as well congrats to you both keep it in a safe place guys so the wrong hands don’t get ahold of it thanks for shearing as always enjoyed watching 👍👍👍👍👍⛏⛏🎊🎉
Yea I'm getting old and fat so my digging days may be numbered...I'm just thankful Shelley and I can still get out and share such adventures. I hope you have a wonderful week and make some fantastic find mate! Thanks so much for watching
That pontiled med bottle you guys got is a find of a life time. Your channel is the greatest bottle digging channel out their. Keep on posting and stay safe.
Congrats on the awesome bottle! The good lord sure blessed you on that dig! You two sure make a great team and I love how grateful you are for everything. That is refreshing to see. Stay safe and keep those bottle coming!
Hi Paul....we sure dont feel like we deserve to find anything great, but just thank God when it happens. Thanks for your kind words. We hope everyone is staying safe, and we pray for those who are sick with this killer virus. My heart goes out to those who are suffering......thanks for your encouragement. See ya in the next video coming in a couple days...
Omg thank you both, I have enjoyedyour video very much, I’m also a die hard bottle, fossil, crystal digger. You truly hit the honey hole of all honey holes, congratulations, thank you for letting me live vicariously though you in this quarantine
Congratulations guys!!! When one collects old objects it's always a thrill to find something of value that most folks will never find. Great haul on this trip.
Hi Jason....we appreciate your wife and you watching. We are not the most entertaining people to watch, but we sure have fun and hope we can share a little of it with you. Stay tuned for another nice dig coming in the next day or two....stay safe
Hi Dave and Shelly. In London ,England, there is a Mudlarker who cuts and polishes embossed bottles that he often finds on the river Thames foreshore which he then sells on Etsy. I think his video channel is called luck in the muck and his name is Si. I just thought that you might like to take a look !! Greetings from Wolverhampton in The West Midlands. xxxxxxxx
Yea, the cobalt puff got kind of lost in the whirlwind there, but it was a rare find too! You know the great thing about digging bottles is that its easy to just go back to digging ordinary common bottles and be totally thrilled. Paul and I dug a couple days ago and just had great fun (although we did dig a really cool indian bottle). Its honestly more about the excitement of the dig ....the thrill of the hunt! You know how it is. Thanks so much for watching and for the great comments....stay safe
WOW that one bottle is a great find and I am glad you and Shelly found it, all of the other bottles are really good finds. Thank you and Shelly for your video.
Thanks so much. We are so thankful to have had such a good dig. It comes at a much needed time too, so the Lord knows our needs and always provides. We hope you have a good week....keep safe and God bless you
Hi Brandon....Paul and I were just in Pekin the other day but didnt do any digging. We were just scouting around. Thanks for watching. We hope you can find a good place to dig.. Be careful, as a lot of the deeper holes in your river area are sandy soil. Keep in touch....we will help you all we can. God bless your family and you
First time viewer but I was interested because I dug bottles and whatever I could find when I was kid and it kinda stays with you . I still collect bottles I like and have a few old patent medicine and liquor embossed that I have found or purchased ..really enjoyed the video . God bless
Dave I'm so happy for you on the olored pontil med bottle. I've heard you speak of this med before. Congrats you are truly blessed. I love it when you dig in New Orleans, you always do well. Take care and be safe you two.
I'm so happy for your treasures that you dug! I lived in New Orleans for several years in the 90s. The humidity is unbearable. And it's not even the hottest season yet. The bugs are always horrible. Bless you for digging and sharing your adventures with us. We love your videos, especially now when we are shut in trying to stay safe and healthy.
Hi Noel...were so glad you watched our video and hope you can stay safe during this virus outbreak. New Orleans is a unique city for sure, but I sure struggle with the heat & humidity...haha. We appreciate your nice comments. It was truly a thrill for us to have such a nice dig. God bless you
Incredible find, guys! Number 12 on the list of the 25 most desired pontil medicines!! I've bought from you over the years - always great to work with. As a digger & collector, I'm so happy for you!
Started watching yall few days ago its amazing doing this and what got my attention was thanks to our Lord on your digs .I'm paralyzed myself so want be digging but this show gave me a heads up on what to look out for here in the Carolinas.....Michael
Gee whiz, Dave and Shelley, now that was amazing! What a dig! I was just as excited as you were when you pulled out some of that stuff. Very rare dig and you guys deserve it more than anybody. Thanks so much for taking me along.
Aw thanks so much my friend. We sure never expect to find something of that magnitude and probably never will again...but God is so good isnt He? We work hard at it, but sure dont feel at all like we deserve anything special....it is all worth it just getting to dig and share adventures together...and share them with nice friends like YOU. God bless you....stay safe
Like 410 ....you know you did Great. My best Pennsylvania finds have been Unlisted Historical Flasks and I had to sell them to pay the bills. I've been digging for over 40 years of my 50+ years of life. I am the boy on the 70s from PBS Venture North " History in a Bottle" TV program. Minnesota.
Nice to hear from you my fellow digger....that is awesome to hear of some of your finds! Wow....keep digging and we hope to stay in touch. Thanks for watching and for your comments. Stay safe...
Hi Carter....we thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to send us a nice comment. We hope you find some great treasure also real soon. Sometimes we get discouraged and dont find much worth crowing about...but if you keep at it and dont give up, ya just never know what might happen. Were trying to work on getting better videos, but its hard to teach an old dog new tricks..haha. Stay safe Carter....God bless
Nicest holes I have ever seen anyone dig in. Beautiful recoveries, and not in over your heads. Congratulations on the Mickeljon. 1st one I have ever seen.
Thanks so much for your kind words. We are just so thankful to God and still just letting it soak in....haha. Although we may never find anything so valuable, every dig is a new adventure with thrills and fun finds. We hope you have a wonderful weekend.....God bless you and be safe
What a awesome haul! Can’t get over all the bottles you found! I just love how God blesses us when we least expect it. Our God is an awesome God. Truly, congratulations on the rare, beautiful bottle you all found. No wonder you were so nervous. Thank you for bringing us on all your digging adventures. God bless, and can’t wait for the next adventure! Tom.
Hi Tom...thanks so much brother. The Lord truly does amazing things often when we least expect them; you are sure right there. God is absolutely awesome! We are praying for you brother and know that He will answer for His glory. We appreciate you watching and for such nice comments. That was our once in a lifetime find...now its your turn Tom! Be safe..
I love this video. I am a lover of old bottles myself. I dont have but a old aspirin and Budweiser bottle. Great finds and I would love to have any of them.😍😍😍😍🥰
Hi Christina.....we are so thankful for you watching and taking time to drop us a note. We may keep the bottle awhile, but we can put that kind of money to some good use to help others, including family and friends. That's why the Lord let us find that bottle I'm sure. God bless you.....see ya in the next video
Got my attention...I do what you do...ive spent hours digging through 100 year old or 80 years at least personal and community dumps... Very COOL .I wanted to say those bottles with the tops broken off would make good water glasses,.I just need to get one of those bottle cutters thy used to sell.
Thanks so much for watching and for your support. Rocks is a good guy.....tell him thanks. We hope to do a dig with him one of these days. God bless you
You betcha! You two got me wondering what kind of treasures might be buried near where I live!! I’m just really happy for you both. Market is going to be down for a while so maybe hold on to that one for a little while. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that you’ll find a few more👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Lorisue....we will start saving some broken colored emb bottles for you. Thanks for watching and for your nice comments. We are staying safe and hope your family and you are too. God bless you
David Beeler I am an artist and only use old broken glass. I just love when the piece is made and you can read some of the letters and words. I am not very far from you. We will have to meet up when we are all safe! I thank you for your kind words and for collecting the glass for me. I am safe and will remain that way. I live alone in the woods, I am old schooled in the way I can live on next to nothing. I have just had to dust the cob webs off that part of my brain. I worry for my daughter whom lives in Cancun Mexico and my son whom is in the Navy, as they worry for me for I lost my husband 7 months ago, as well as being a cancer survivor. I have my guns loaded and several friends that will bring me anything I need. I am a lucky lady! I send my best for you and your family in hope you all stay well! Thank you again!!!
Ahoy there Bottle Hawk....thank you so much for your nice comments. Yea, I think I will quit digging now while I'm ahead....(just kidding) haha. Its really all about the adventure and thrill of the hunt which is what drives all of us I guess. We may never find another bottle of that magnitude, but every dig is exciting because of the history and thrill of finding new buried treasures. You know how it is....I cant wait to get back out there on the next dig! God bless you my friend...stay safe from this virus
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 Sadly my privy days are over due to physical limitations. However, I'm still beating the bushes, beaches and old farm sites for bottles and relics. It's so true, once you're bitten by the bug there is very little chance you'll stop doing it. Take care and you all stay safe.
Very cool Hunt. What great finds . All of them were awesome. Congrats to you all , it could not have happened to a nicer couple. Thx for sharing that great moment.Take care and as allways , good luck on your next hunt.
Greetings and blessings from the UK , my wife Jane and myself thought wow what a great tip and some amazing finds.keep going my collection is stoneware transfer printed ginger beers. Love your faith !
Thanks Mark....so glad to get your nice comments. We'll try to dig you up a rare transfer printed ginger beer....but almost all of ours are unembossed. God bless you brother!
Hey congratulations on your awesome find! We are so thankful for a once in a lifetime find....but now excited to just be finding whatever comes our way. Thanks for your nice message....good luck in your digs. Please stay safe and have fun..
Hey Connie....thanks so much for your encouragement. We never expect to find a treasure like that, which I guess reveals our lack of faith. We ask God to bless...and then are surprised when He answers our prayers..haha. God is so awesome in spite of all our failures and sin. Thank you for watching.....have a blessed day and please stay safe from this Coronavirus
We sure are glad you could share it with us Tony. Thanks for your kind words. We are just so thankful and still just kind of in disbelief...haha. We cant wait til the next adventure either......Paul and I dug a couple days ago, so we'll try to get that video out in a couple days after we get everything washed up......we hope you are staying strong and safe during this virus epidemic. God be with you
Thanks for watching and for taking time to comment. It was a fun. Now its YOUR turn to find a treasure....we hope you have a wonderful week. God bless and stay safe
Thanks so much Victoria....it was sure fun and we are just still not hardly believing that the Lord blessed with such a nice findl! Glad you could come along with us.....stay tuned for the next dig coming in a day or two....Paul and I dug an indian!....haha. God be with you and keep you safe and strong!

Paul and I dug a couple days ago and just had great fun (although we did dig a really cool indian bottle). Its honestly more about the excitement of the dig ....the thrill of the hunt! You know how it is. Thanks so much for watching and for the great comments....stay safe
What a great find. Love these videos
We hope you have a good week....keep safe and God bless you
Poor Shelly is burned! Poor thing! May God Bless you with many, many more bottles you both deserve it!! Thank you for sharing this with us!
My wife and kids love to bottle dig too! We are in Pekin. You guys find some amazing bottles and relics! I dream of finding old bottles like you guys!
God bless
Congrats on that find. God is good❤️🇺🇸
Shovelling Shelly is a good sport! Getting down and dirty! So nice when you come up all clean and polished!
Amazing - what a great adventure - thanks for taking us with you!
Beautiful bottle guys…really, really nice!!!
I love old bottles, I'm going to start digging!
I'm happy for you both for a simple enjoyment!

Its gleaming too no bad stains that's awesome congratulations !

I love this video. I am a lover of old bottles myself. I dont have but a old aspirin and Budweiser bottle. Great finds and I would love to have any of them.😍😍😍😍🥰
Love the olive green on that treasure bottle . Absolutely beautiful .
Congratulations !! R. Cousteau sent me! Loved seeing all your finds. Thx for the video 👍🏻
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that you’ll find a few more👍🏻👍🏻
So excited for you and Shelley and this amazing find. God bless and stay safe and healthy.
I want the broken colored embossed bottles! One mans junk is another mans treasure! Great time with ya. Hope your staying safe and healthy!
First video of yours I watched, and I subbed. Cannot believe you had that $23,000 bottle sitting in the window! I would have had it between 2 pillows!
I love those blue blue bottles and the light blue bottles they are beautiful they are beautiful
Awesome dig, folks. Came up with some real beauties there and I'm happy you got what you've been looking for.
Congratulations with your bottle that you found I love your videos keep up the good work you guys are awesome God bless

Hey Connie....thanks so much for your encouragement. We never expect to find a treasure like that, which I guess reveals our lack of faith.
