I've never clicked an andertons video so fast in all my life! I've loved the band since the far q days and im glad to hear they're changing things up again!
Never heard of this band but I must say after checking them out I really like a lot of their material. To those complaining that they might not know the band, what is wrong with learning about artists you're not familiar with? Is not the point of this series to learn about artists in the industry and their experiences? Not every artist is a house-hold name, especially today. We should be able to appreciate various stories of artists in the music industry, regardless of their 'recognized' achievements.
AkiraSpectrum Completely agree, i owe Andertons for introducing me to eric gales. Looking forward to seeing new people who can show me more about the infinite aspects of music
I’ve been following LTA for 4 years now, honestly one of the most amazing bands live, met them in Newcastle on their last tour and they’re all such lovely genuine lads. Such a great video, it’s so interesting to hear more about the history behind the band
Lower Than Atlantis has influenced me since the beginning of 2013, seen them live for the first time exactly a year ago in Belgium and met them as well! This video brings back so many memories on how cool and good Mike Duce is! I have much respect for them, each single member of LTA! Much love - Sarah
I genuinely loved watching this and found it really interesting to hear more history about the band I didn't even no about and I've been a fan of LTA for almost 5 years! Its so nice to hear how humble he talks about his past and present, just knowing how hard they've worked to get where they are today is one of the many reasons why I admire Mike as a musician and as a person.
Funny guy, seems like he would be fun to hang out and jam with. Wish he played some stuff in the video since Lower Than Atlantis have some nice and heavy riffs
Wise advice about songwriting. Great songwriters are very rare where shredders are a dime a dozen. If you want to go beyond playing guitar on youtube, write some great songs.
I want soo badly to see LTA live one day. I've been a huge fan since World Record and honestly they're such an underrated band, don't know how because they've been consistently good for years.
Some people I'd like the captain to meet: Steve Vai John Sykes Dave Meniketti of Y&T Adrian Vandenberg of Vandenberg Rolf Kasparek of Running Wild Bill Leverty of FireHouse Wolf Hoffmann of Accept Kai Hansen from Helloween and Gamma Ray Ross the Boss from the Dictators and Manowar
Im sure this Guy has a new band called 'Headache' Im not going to start a band im just going to sell t-shirts , there are lots of people that wear Rock band or Metal band t-shirts and haven't a clue who that band is . So its possible
I swear that when I expanded the description the band links weren't there, just the Andertons links. Once again you've expanded my musical universe, so thanks again!
Mike has always been a great guitarist i live next door to his secondary school music teacher and he was always in the music room at lunches and etc apparently literally just reminds me of myself lol
NOT a good Interviewer. Mike Duce and LTA just broke up. Yet, I just discovered them about 1 - 1.5 years ago. AMAZING Band!! Mike's Voice and Talent is WAY above standard. You can tell he has so much knowledge and much more to tell. This Interviewer insists on presumptions and analogies that are guessing at the life of Mike D and LTA, and super-imposing his beliefs and ideologies. A GOOD Interviewer would ASK the right questions and let the ARTIST tell their story!! Stop stepping on the toes of these Artists and their stories!! I WANTED to hear Mike Duce talk about his success with the band. Yet, this Interviewer OFTEN cuts him off and injects HIS version of "Success" or presumptions!! TOTALLY NOT NECESSARY!! Now, LTA is broken up. I am hoping their talents will spread out and we get more music from each of them. Eddy Thrower is ONE HELL of a DRUMMER!! Mike Duce deserved a much better interviewer and interview.
A small observation: I see he has a bunch of tattoos, which I know cost a lot of money. In the beginning stages, did he have a bunch of tattoos or did they come later? If they came early, there’s a huge chunk of money disappearing right there. I’m not hating on him, I’m just questioning why he would do that if he needed the money? Get a new tattoo or get a small apartment and not have to live in a van? Just an observation from an Econ major.
Mynx _uk Hah, yeah that was a rather ridiculous statement. I started learning in the early 80's and there were loads of great guitarists who weren't string twiddlers.
Rip lta, these guys influenced my songwriting so so much
I've never clicked an andertons video so fast in all my life! I've loved the band since the far q days and im glad to hear they're changing things up again!
‘We should do something more risqué’... *breaks up*

Are you trolling the audience? How did you not ask this guy to play a single note in the entire 40 mins?
Love Mike's songwriting. Such a humble guy too!
Funny guy, seems like he would be fun to hang out and jam with. Wish he played some stuff in the video since Lower Than Atlantis have some nice and heavy riffs
Best interview yet, bravo captain
Fantastic band! Saw them in manchester it was a great time!
So proud of you, Mike. So honest and endearing and humble. Please give yourself some credit for the incredible musician you are!
Incredible is always going to be the biggest understatement, there are no words to describe how talented he really is
Been listening since far q. So interesting to hear the changes in sound since then!
Wise advice about songwriting. Great songwriters are very rare where shredders are a dime a dozen. If you want to go beyond playing guitar on youtube, write some great songs.
I always enjoy hearing Danish Pete laugh in the background.
What a guest, nice one Andertons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly! I don’t know this band and was looking forward to hearing his tone.
TONE..
Love Mike, love the band, keep killing it guys, will always listen to your stuff!
these brilliant interviews are when andertons shines
Gorgoroth !! \m/ 🤘
That was a fun interview, what a nice guy.
I enjoyed this interview. In the last premiere guitar rig rundown they went through the entire pedal board without a note.
I want soo badly to see LTA live one day. I've been a huge fan since World Record and honestly they're such an underrated band, don't know how because they've been consistently good for years.

Top man, good band. Never heard of them before, reminiscent of Feeder.
I like Lower Than Atlantis a lot!
Speaking of the Kemper vs Valves debate, have Andertons done a blindfold challenge on that topic yet?
I love your accent. 😍😍
Need to go back to the UK soon 😅
yes!!!
Mike Duce music forever, sorry LTA arent a thing anymore. Been a fan since FARQ
such an underrated band❤
Underrated by who?
Awesome. You guys should do a captain meets Mumford and sons or Johnnyswim
Some people I'd like the captain to meet:
Steve Vai
John Sykes
Dave Meniketti of Y&T
Adrian Vandenberg of Vandenberg
Rolf Kasparek of Running Wild
Bill Leverty of FireHouse
Wolf Hoffmann of Accept
Kai Hansen from Helloween and Gamma Ray
Ross the Boss from the Dictators and Manowar
Yes he is now my second favorite guitarist after tom delonge
'10 points to riffindor' - using that from now on
You should try to get synyster gates and zacky vengeance on the show please.
I can't even find a video of him playing anything. He's the singer isn't he?
Get Enter Shikari on!!!! That would be awesome
Im sure this Guy has a new band called 'Headache' Im not going to start a band im just going to sell t-shirts , there are lots of people that wear Rock band or Metal band t-shirts and haven't a clue who that band is . So its possible
Lee promised me links in the description.... I have to do all the work myself.
Hi Clayton. Which link were you looking for?
I swear that when I expanded the description the band links weren't there, just the Andertons links. Once again you've expanded my musical universe, so thanks again!
Yay heavier albummm
This guy is funny af
Its wounding to hear how unhappy the band was with Changing tune album, its probably my favourite album

Big lots of bands get tattooed by friends on the road for free.
one ofthe funniest comments I've ever read
Watch Tom Delonge on Joe Rogans podcast... It is beyond weird.
HAHA No one playing 3 chords, What about Quo? they have been playing 3 chords for decades
Mynx _uk Hah, yeah that was a rather ridiculous statement. I started learning in the early 80's and there were loads of great guitarists who weren't string twiddlers.
Musical instrument UA-cam channel interviews a guitarist about guitars whilst holding a guitar. No guitar was played, ffs.
No playing at all? lol.
Meet The Pope.
