Don’t pump your mascara wand like that! It allows air to get in and dry it out too quickly! Just twist the wand in circles and you will get more product on the wand. 😊
You need to use it when the mascara is fresh and wet. It’s perfect to set the lashes is a specific spot and remove any clumps. My 12yro daughter LOVES these!
Maybe different mascara. I don't have this comb or anything but i have noticed that some mascaras dry to different textures. Some become soft and some just start to crumb. And also try using it before mascara dries out completely.
I got my first lash comb on an eyelash curler. Like one end was the curler and at the very end was a retractable lash comb and eyebrow brush. I got it from my mom who got it from her grandmother. I loved it.

Why not just keep the spoolies from old mascara you discard and clean those up? The viral L’Oréal telescopic whatever mascara wand is amazing for lash separation but the product is crap.

In the 80s, we used sewing needles to separate each eyelash. This would have been so much easier

i use that and i've poked myself in the eye multiple times but it's a huge help

I have one I got at Daiso but it looks more like a folding comb but it works great and gets rid of the excess mascara
