Tip : paint well look less streaky on a big surface if your brush is bigger… the one you used in this video is a DETAIL sized brush when you needed a BASE COAT sized one
Upside down number and more explanation of what you need for the clock I liked it
Turned out nice.
That's beautiful! Clocks are so fun to make.
This clock is seriously stunning! Love the wood and epoxy combo! 🌟
The clock is lit!!
Nice idea for a clock.
Wow .... Super made...
Beautiful original and modern work
Bellissimo lavoro e disegno originale
Thank you so much
Great job on the clock.
Its even got those fancy superbowl numbers, nice.
Looks great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 wel done.
Watching you painting the stand with these tiny little brush is priceless. 🤣😂🤣
😅
And uses a roller to do the smaller staining job
Edit: removed, wrong thread
Ellerinize sağlık çok güzel oldu.💯💢
Waouwww c’est magnifique !!! Très ingénieux. Bravo et merci du partage 🤩🤩
Magnificent ! !
I have heard of a tradition among European watchmakers
which would consist of inscribing the hours on clocks in Roman numerals, but with the particularity (reserved for watchmaking) of writing the number 4 not "IV" (5 minus 1) as usual but "IIII" (3 plus 1)
YES, and the reason is the balance of the numbers. with iiii we now have 4x number with I then 4x number with V and then 4x numbers with X.

Excelente trabajo

@@WoodSeason Prego👍
The LEDs creates a very warm ambience.
Beautiful!
Looks great! I'm curious for the clock machine, solar panel and energi controller. please share the link
Your chisel technique made me nervous, otherwise a great job ,might even have a go myself 👍👍
عمل رائع
Красивые часы и нечего лишнего нет. Спасибо за видео.
On a clock with roman numbers, the roman 4 is usually depicted as IIII instead of IV. Why? Because of the balance between the numbers. i ii ii iiii (four numbers with just i's) v vi viii viii (four numbers with a V) and ix x xi xii (four numbers with a X). That's how it's done!
No, that’s not why you occasionally see iiii on ancient clocks. The real reason dates back to Roman times and has to do with the original Roman spelling of their God Jupiter, spelled IVPPITER. Using IV was thought to be disrespectful.
Nope. That's a myth. The real reason was what ArthurvanH0udt wrote.
Yes, writing IIII or IV is just a matter of preference.
very best beautiful wood Design
Very nice n accurate work Sir...👌🤟
Beautiful
Beautiful 👌
AMAZING!
my favourite wood design
Bel orologio di design 😊bravo!
Great idea!
Parabéns obra prima!
Thanks
Good job modern style
very good job , it´s amazing
Really great art👌👏😁
Very cool effect
Nicely done
Looks great! I'm curious if you considered filling the clock with epoxy after adhering the numbers to encase the numbers and prevent dust build up? Love the versatility of having a base and being wall mountable.
That sounds like a great idea. I've never worked with epoxy, but it's probably harder than it seems. You could pour a thin layer of epoxy, let it dry, then attach the numbers. And pour another layer of epoxy over it. I don't know how that works out though.
@@jakerazmataz852 yes use the UV resin to attach the numbers with the uv resin you just put the uv light over it and they will dry with in no time then you can pour the rest of the epoxy over all of it. and let it dry
Nice
I like it!!!!!
Love it. I am curious about the LED lights and the solar/ switch. A description and links for them please.
Nice super
❤ nice work
Perfeito lindo Belo trabalho show 🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏👏👍🤣😂🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Чудно. Два в одном.
Is beautiful
Very cool and nice
You're probably gonna want to turn the light off without stopping the clock and some point. Other than that, very nice!
Pretty sure the switch is only connected to the solar battery for the lights, the clock itself is powered by the AA battery he put in.
I was more curious as to why he put the wall hanging attachment on, up against a wall the light sensor is always going to assume it is dark, keep the lights on and drain the solar battery because it isn't getting any light.
But apart from that, yeah, not a bad project.
@@Galerak1 Hmm, i didn't see a separate battery for the LEDs, but it wouldn't be the first thing I missed. Depending on the color of the wall and the sensitivity of the sensor, it can actually detect light pretty well against the wall. I have a solar battery pack that turns it's charging light on even when it's oriented the same way.
Thank you
Amazing
Excellent 👌
But didn't understand light sensor module system ❗😮
That's good 💯
That is very good
Nice! I would have left more room for you to get the battery out from the positive end.
your all video very nice
Hermoso reloj
Lindissimo

A good video. Thank you. Gives me some ideas.
Nice job , some people always have to try and find something wrong with everything and most of the ones complaining are the ones who can’t make anything anyways….and just hating
So I learned something today...
Wear a “headband light”. Much easier when routing!
Nicely done.
Hermoso ❤❤❤❤❤
what did you put on the epoxy after you sanded it to make it clear
i love this i want to make one , but i don't know all the materials you had and used, but is there anyway to put the lights inside the clock and then put the epoxy in it
whats the finish on that table that you can pure epoxy and not have it stick
All roman numbers clocks and watches are setup exactly like in this video. The only thing that makes the numbers look akwardly upsidedown are the lines beneath them. If these lines were removed, no one would have commented (or noticed) on the numbers being upside down. AMAZING WORK AND WOODCRAFT!
Nope. The 4 is correct for Roman numerals, but it's wrong for a clock. Traditionally on clocks and watches, the 4 is IIII
No, no they're not.
Most cheap clocks are made like this one. Because they are lazy.
The numbers should be set just like standard numbers, upright an level.
Excelente trabalho, única ressalva a colocação dos números.
Se você pendurá-lo na parede metade dos números estarão de cabeça para baixo.
No mais, coisa linda de se ver, parabéns!
Hi its very unique idea nice❤ would you be so kind to assist what base you use underneath rings to fix them before pouring resin? And what colour you have use on both wodden rings? Its colour or varnish?
Hello. I love your videos and how you do epoxy work. Can I please ask what is the material you use under your project when you poor the epoxy? The epoxy does not stick to it. Is is plastic wrap?
I really like how things com off the epoxy so easily and cleanly.
Thank you
Chris
Thank you. I covered the surface with tape.
Cool idea, did you ever fix the upside down numbers?
they are supposed to be upside down
Perfect 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Question: How often do you have to replace the battery?
Why not use fancy CNC router for timepiece cutout .? How did the epoxy not stick to work bench ?
Show de bola parabéns 👏👏

How long is the curing for the epoxy to harden itself ? Is it also temperature dependant ? I have so many failures on epoxy attempts even for small amount take few days it still flexy and sticky 😢
Wow❤
What to do to prevent resin stick to other things?
❤cool
Why not use the CNC to cut the clock pocket same time you cut everything else?
Keren bos. ❤
I have a new laser and haven’t used it yet. I would love to make this. How think was the wood and can I cover the table with like regular packing tape?
Parabéns pelo trabalho. Mas uma pergunta. Como a resina não colou na mesa na hora de aplicar ela ?
Obrigado. A mesa estava coberta com fita adesiva
