Bro, love the info you put out on tube for the 6th gens! Keep it up dude, I'm not a hard core mechanic but can do somethings here and there and your vids help out a lot! I got a 05 Max I keep it lookin good tho! Lol
It was a lot more difficult to put on the new one than the old because of those ridges. Had to use a pry bar to fit both sides in( and the aftermarket one was slightly more narrow).
Just watched all the video's on what I need done on my Max. Damn yo, I need two motor mounts, 2 front struts, cv axle, and two outer tie rods on my Maxima wtf. I need you to slid down here to Va and hook a brother up lol.

What is that wire/connecter/plug that the front motor mount has? I have a 2008 Maxima, and my wire/connector/plug is all chewed up. Is that a sensor? BTE, thanks for the vidz! Very educational 👍
@@Abu5ed_VQ It uses RPMs from the computer to determine what setting the motor mount should adjust to. I think its a brilliant design, its a shame they used crappy materials to make it with. My guess is they all fail over time.
Anybody know what'll happen if you don't have the harness? I just got mine in from TRQ and just realized it doesn't have the harness for the front or the rear.

Hello my friend, yes I do think you should get change them all. If one is worn to the point of replacement then I would guess the others are on there way out as well.. Hope this helps..

Salute OG, gat to ask when you put your car in drive, an you feel it jump or kick, it takes like Two seconds an then you feel the shift, is that possible the transmission mount, an it's only when I shift to drive, all the other gears shift fine ? Any thoughts ?
@@reubenjones1778 I have not installed headers. I wanted to but the headache of struggling with shifting the engine to get the rear header on wasn't appealing to me. So I went with high flow pre-cat's

Question: I was told by a rep at Mavis that in order to change my 2011 rear motor mount I would need a scan tool and a pessure pump is this factual?

When I did it i use jack stand as a safety just being mindful

I would say oem to get the best bang for your buck.. But after market will work as well..

The wire does go to a sensor on the motor mount..
Thats not a sensor friend, its a variable adjustable stability control. Best read up on it.

@@Preach22 that’s highly possible.. I would try to clean the egr valve and check the wiring harness going to the egr valve.. Hope this helps

I just got quoted $800 by a shop to replace this mount. How many hours of labor would you estimate this to take by an experienced mechanic?
it took me 3 hrs and that was with recording.. So a shop should do it in half the time

You want to put the floor jack under the oil pan with a piece of wood in between.. Just so you won't dent the oil pan itself.

Bro that sounds like your trans my brother.. The valve body may be the issue to be honest.
