Yes, Ollie North is in this video and even more in Part 1. He was our main instructor for the second of four phases - Patrolling. He was a helluva good instructor, too. Over the years, when all of us were out in various postings, we would follow his career.
Capt Higginbotham aka the Rhino, introduced in Part 1, was my Staff Platoon Commander. He was a hard ass, and we learned a lot from him. I loved seeing the obstacle course again, I could do it in 60 seconds and was on my platoon's O-course team in OCS.
I decided to choose the Marine Corps out of Navy ROTC because of the professionalism of the officer corps, and the best of the best were the instructors at TBS.
My four years of active duty were great preparation to be a CEO later in life - not because I knew how to boss people around, but because I learned how to delegate, how to listen, how to give people both responsibility and authority (that was pounded into us at TBS), how to make sure everything was taken care of for my troops, how to pay attention to the details, etc. In short, how to be a leader.

Does anyone else recognize Capt. Oliver North starting at 0.10 into this video clip lasting for about 40 seconds? He use to teach ambush patrolling when I went through TBS somewhat earlier. This video does bring back some old memories.
