If you can afford it and get it done asap, yes it can be good to form the business first so it can own the trademark from the beginning. You can do it the other way but then you own the trademark yourself and have to assign it -- easy to forget to do

Ah good question, my thought is that you would put the mailing address for the receiving party. Then later when the new owner files the next renewal, they will need to include their domicile at that time

The name change court order would be the required document, yes. Hm I'd file signing with the new legal name. If you do it wrong, they will let you know and you can try the other way (sometimes their rules are non-obvious, even for me).

If it the same business and you just converted the business entity type from LLC to Corporation or whatever, then you'd select "Entity Conversion" - but if it is not the same business (if the old business entity still exists - it was not a conversion) then it would just be an Assignment

If you converted/merged your LLC from Delaware to Wyoming, then it's the same LLC so conversion of an entity seems like the right choice. But if you have two LLCs and you are transferring the trademark from one to the other, it is just like if you had sold it to a stranger.

No, having a DBA does not protect the name for you getting an LLC. The best way to protect the brand name is getting a trademark. Yes you can start with the DBA owning the trademark, and then you would "assign" it to the LLC once you create it. The risk is the risk you have anytime you have a sole proprietorship / DBA business (vs an LLC or corporation) -- personal liability for the liabilities of the business.

Also, it could be an estate issue. I'd recommend speaking with an attorney in the state where the corporation is located / the estate was probated.
I have a pending trademark (just completed the OG Publication phase) that is owned by my company; however I'm in the process of changing the name of my company. The entity type will remain the same. Once the name is changed legally, then good to do the name change for the trademark office. If you do it before the certificate, then the new name is on the formal certificate.

If it is just taking a long time, it could be the fact that the USPTO is very behind. But if you are getting a rejection, I'd reply to the rejection asking for clarification. If it includes a phone number, calling the examiner who rejected it would be the best option.

I talk about the filing costs in the video, so it just depends if you have to hire a lawyer to do it or do it yourself

The transfer fee as of today is just $40, so not a big deal (compared to USPTO trademark fees).

If you terminate the LLC, you need to file an "assignment" to change the owner to the new owner. It will not happen automatically.

I'd recommend starting over with a new USPTO login (with whatever email address you use now) and use that to update the file.

I have a pending trademark (just completed the OG Publication phase) that is owned by my company; however I'm in the process of changing the name of my company. The entity type will remain the same. Should I wait until the trademark is finalized to update the owner info. or should I do so before I'm issued the registration certificate? Thanks
Once the name is changed legally, then good to do the name change for the trademark office. If you do it before the certificate, then the new name is on the formal certificate.

If it is just taking a long time, it could be the fact that the USPTO is very behind. But if you are getting a rejection, I'd reply to the rejection asking for clarification. If it includes a phone number, calling the examiner who rejected it would be the best option.
