- My British friend Anselm (Kumander Daot) left the Philippines and went back to be with his family in Wales. In this video from Cagayan de Oro, I share a few thoughts on his recent video about BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder). It was really courageous what he talked about, and I am really proud of him for being so open about the condition he is dealing with:

Vlogging and simply talking to/having fun with a camera can really be a beautiful thing. I think it was absolutely courageous and so positive what Anselm (Kumander Daot) did. On a side note... he has really started to ROCK VLOGGING! I was speaking to him yesterday and he showed me something new he has! Looking forward to seeing him use it!

He impressed me so much with his decision and maturity in dealing with his illness. I was reduced to tears the other day but his confidence and intellect will surely beat this silent killer. He has some awesome friends and it makes me smile

But I wonder why during the recent lowest moment of Kumander Daot in the Philippines, I never see any comments from Kulas.

Indeed I suffered depression,panic attack, anxiety.It’s hard to hangout with people who cannot deeply understand my situation. I realised talking in front of the camera is really a big help for me.
Talking the camera has always been a challenge for me. I'm always self-conscience about a few things but I AM improving. Watching you guys helps a lot, in many ways.
Kumander is cool, I feel like I know him personally. He is blessed to have such good friends in you.

Due to Covid many people are trying to deal with. Depression, losing jobs, no food, can't pay bills, can't visit their families the list goes on. Talking helps a simple kindness goes a long way, it may even save someone life.

Tripe is one of my faves. Mostly used in spanish inspired dishes . Tripe must be Boiled for hours until very soft . I prefer to slice them thinly to expedite the cooking process.

Kyle, thank you for talking about Mental health. For the past 22 months I have no idea which day is the worst day of my life. I don't know why i am still alive. Maybe because i am not yet done caring for the sick and dying? Maybe it's you Kyle who cheers me and my wife up with your HAPPY daily vlogs. I emailed Kumander Daot about how truly brave he is coming out and spoke about it. We all suffer mental crisis because of this never ending Pandemic, but this is just too early for me to talk about it. Maybe i will start learning talking infront of the camera and speak about it. 2 minutes before going to work and 2 minutes when i get home. My lunch break is over now and back to the covid battle field here in London. Shout out to all my Filipino NHS Nurses working in St.Georges Hospital in Tooting Broadway.
