How to solo left totem - Kingsfall trio | Destiny 2

- A quick and simple guide for the solo left totem on trio Kingsfall.
The person on left has to solo their side, for the most consistent set up I use a void lock with blink, devour and eager edge sword.
Basically the rotation is to start near the brand plate, then listen for sound 1: jump, eager then blink onto the totem plate from the brand plate. Hold the totem plate until you hear sound 2 and then jump eager and blink back to the brand plate.
Proc devour at the start and use Trinity to easily keep it going for survivability. Use the shotgun and nades for the knights / minos.
Also, looking up to "try" to avoid the insane sword tracking is recommended.
Hopefully this quick overview helps your team get through. Iif it does then do the youtube stuff for me!
If you have any other questions let me know below and Ill answer!

A year later this guide still helps thanks man
@@The.one.who.throws youre welcome dude! Glad it’s helpful. Id imagine now with prismatic this is probably even easier than it was before.
I just used the same build you used it was easier to keep my devour running with it
@@The.one.who.throws nice one - glad you got through it! on to the next one :)
I kept failing when I tried to do solar lock but when I used blink got it first try !
From this video or just in general? Glad you’ve got a rotation down now 🤘🏻Using devour just makes it so comfy with trinity imo.
@@Ransackt I was told to use devour by a friend and then I saw this video and I understood why it’s better since devour is quicker. When I did solar if I didn’t go before the chat message or ad it happens I would die where as with void I could be late by a second and still get it
@@skimoe awesome- glad it helped out! GG
Need to try this with blink, not bad 💪💣
Yeah get after it dude! It makes it a lot more fun. Can easily be done on solar lock comfortably too with the dash. Also on arc hunter with blink works. Just void lock and devour crutch makes it pretty easy!
@@Ransackt yeah It looks soo funny :3, i did it with solar warlock but had to do lot of practice
Nice strat bro
Thanks, tried to keep it simple! Hopefully it can help some more people get through this one with a bit less fuss!
this is awesome but also when I tryed to do this I kept instantly dying do you know why
@@Yellowninja-ei6ob where are you dying? You need to start from where I start and get back to where I start. Essentially there is a poison cloud in the room that if youre in there too long it will kill you. So you need to follow the timings to be able to live. Thats why you have to run in and out like in the vid. Hopefully that helps
Wow
Thanks - theres a million better players than me, just threw this together to see if it helped make sense of the strat for some people :)
perhaps this is bad question but if you dont mind answering why not just stand on the plate and kill ads? is it better ?
Good question - So for doing this encounter with 3 people one person needs to solo a side. The mechanic doesn't allow you to be in the room without the brand or else you die to "poison air" in the room (there is no visual debuff or anything for this its basically on an invisible timer). Because the solo person has no one to take the brand they cant pick up the brand as its on a timer also and would kill them. Basically the solo person is only using the timings to keep the annihilator totem active to prevent wiping the team. Thats why you need to leave and enter - basically to keep the totem alive and not be killed being in the room too long and dying to the poison in the room. Hopefully that makes sense?
@@Ransackt Ohhhhhhh i forgot about the poison yea
@@greenlightxbpg lol yeah its never an issue really on 6s cause youll always have the brand to protect you from it. You remember real quick on 3s when youre too slow and drop dead out of nowhere lol
@@Ransackt
You mention that when you are too slow you drop dead out of nowhere.
Everytime I enter the room to the exact times like you do and as soon as I hit the plate I die.
What am I doing wrong?
Is the timing this close?
@@iHack1234 Yes the timing is somewhat tight. The trick to it is going on the sounds shown in the video and also being prepared to move at the time of the sound. You also need to go far enough out of the room... Think of it like when in the room you are "gaining stacks of poison" then when you get out you're losing them. You need to be far enough out to lose the stacks for long enough (which the sounds provide plenty of time) as you see in the video I move pretty much immediately as the sound happens - the blink eager or eager dash are more than enough to get out. hopefully this helps - let me know how it goes!
What’s the build
The build is void lock, with blink and devour. Really its up to you what way you want to set it up with fragments etc as there is plenty of combos. In this set up I used contraverse holds and vortex nades to keep the devour going. Trinity ghoul for ads and heritage for yellow bars. Can also be done on solar lock with sunshot for resto / radiant uptime with empyrean.
Is this anywhere near as easy as it seems?
It is pretty straightforward with the timings on there. May take a little getting used to for a few runs but its fairly straightforward when you get the timing down. Can also easily do it on solar too
Nice! Thanks for the reply as well! 😃
@@Haze7128 no problem dude, good luck if you're attempting it - let me know how you get on!
I'm not at this moment but I'm always interested in learning lowman strats just in case lol
