I’m 74 now, and still look fondly on things I did with and learned from my grandfather. Brent, you’re teaching skills, but at the same time building memories. Big thumbs up to you!

brent is like a mister miyagi of customization! my favourite part is seeing austin try and release the vicegrips without success, brent comes along and just bumps it with his thumb and it releases. the youth needs more of this kinda mentoring. love it !

Spic & Span engine bay! Level 1 tidy for sure! OSHA approved work footwear. ( I opt for my safety sandals myself, but Ionly work on my lawn tractor these days.) That engine is really gonna stand out now in that great engine bay!! TOP NOTCH !!!!!

I get the impression that once Brent clamps the vice grips on to something most people would struggle to release them again 💪😂

Much admiration for all the teachers, that have to coral students and teach them life lessons. You Brent show that patience.

you can see the pride of ownership in that young man's eyes. He will be driving that car for a long time. Brent, you are doing a great job as a Grandfather and not doing it all yourself. Having Austin doing the work as well right along side you will make that car and the time together even more special. That is going to be a great first drive.

Good to mentor these young men, if anything it builds self confidence to take on other new things. And no fear to step up when their friends are scratching their heads not knowing what to do.
Austin, use one hand on stinger, and other hand as a rest. If you can prop yourself for a steady hand, makes welds easier and end result is better. You know Grandad is enjoying sharing his knowledge. This is quality time, cherish every moment! Im sure Brent does.
Engine bay looks great with a little paint. Engine really looks sharp in in there.

You're going to turn Austin into Dr. Dime Stacker! The fact that you're teaching these young men that they can find satisfaction in building something cool with their own hands and minds is a huge gift to them. Anyone can go buy something off of a car lot but it's a rare few that will be able to do what they will be capable of. And that lesson goes way beyond just cars.
