- The Hidizs MS3 is a brand-new three-driver hybrid set designed with a 10.2mm custom-developed DD unit and composite BA driver from Knowles.
The shell boasts a beautiful design made using aviation-grade aluminum alloy reminiscent of the MS5 older brother and also uses three-different tuning nozzles that provide different sound profiles , from a more detailed mid centric one (silver noozle) to a warmer, smoother more organic sounding set up (red noozle)
The MS3 10.2mm bio-fiber composite DD and the SWFK-31736 dual-composite BA, have been tuned to offer a clean detailed sound with strong low end and engaiging mid range presentation, and where it not for the slight extra energy around 4 to 5k it would be faultless.
Granted this energy is reduced with the red noozle that provides a smoother pinna gain.
However one must keep in mind this warmer , smoother presentation is not as technically detailed as the silver or gold noozle set ups.
Overall I can't truly find any area which is a deal breaker, the MS3 is well built, it's well accessorized, tips are plentiful and cable excellent , while the sound is purposely coloured but fun and exciting...oh and let's not forget the price which at 115usd futher help confirm it's excellent value.

Hey Akros, people have started adapting the black nozzle from EA500 which apparently can help tune even further the sound (also lengthen the stem slightly), you may want to check it out 🤙

I feel like it's very wrong reviewing iems based on driver configuration.
It makes it hard for people to chose what they want. It's should be about making a review bout what sounds great and compare it to other products regardless of driver configuration and price.

Keep in mind can compare to dozens, if not several dozens of IEMs. Must draw a line and settle on a few. Whether price, approximate sound, or driver configuration.
